Ridley Park has cared for my dad for a few years now. I find the staff very caring and approachable and always take the time to listen to my concerns.
Thank you for your kind review. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your dad in our care and that our staff are so approachable to you as his family. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care.
My mum has now been at Ridley Park for just over five months for nursing care. All the time she has been here, the standard of care has remained high. The nursing staff are really informative and keep you up to date with how she is doing. The carers are great, nothing is any trouble, and one of the girls really makes Mam smile with all her little jokes. They are all a fab team, and I feel they do care about how Mam is, and I couldn't ask for more.
Thank you for your kind words. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after, and we are so pleased to hear that your Mum has a smile on her face. We hope Ridley Park care home did everything possible to make the transition as easy as...
My mother was admitted to Ridley Park Care Home in January 2023. After visiting several care homes in the area, I was very pleased to be offered a place for my mother. Ridley Park has got to be the best care home in the area, with a very good reputation. I know that my mother is well cared for in all respects, including her health and wellbeing. However, she does tell me that sometimes the food offered is not the best quality, which she has mentioned to the staff.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your kind review. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your mother in our care. In regards to the food offered, we will discuss your feedback with the home’s manager to help them continually improve their service. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your mother's stay as comfortable as possible.
All of the staff at Ridley Park Care Home are brilliant - we had a very traumatic experience with Mum’s previous care home where she wasn’t being cared for, but the difference here is the staff have given her the care and attention she needs and physically the improvement has been amazing. Mum has gone from hospital end of life care in December to now being up and about, walking with a frame and has a much better quality of life. The staff are patient coping with her dementia and have been so supportive of the whole family. The home is clean, rooms are decorated nicely, facilities and activities are great and Mum is so much happier here she’s got a new lease of life. Can’t thank them enough for all they have done.
Thank you for your lovely review. We hope Ridley Park care home did everything possible to make the transition as easy as possible and we are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your mum in our care. W hope all of your family feel like a part of our Ridley Park family. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
A few months ago through choice, my husband was transferred from another care home to Ridley Park Care Home. From the beginning it felt the right place for him to be. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The qualified staff are excellent at assessing and addressing his needs and any concerns are acted on immediately. All the staff treat him as a person, a human being. It's so lovely to see him and them laughing and joking together. It is heartbreaking for that person and family when your loved one needs to go into a care home. No words can express the relief for myself and family to see how happy and content my husband, their dad, is now. He could not be in any better place and after my visit I know I am leaving him in good hands.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your lovely review. We are glad to have helped you and your family through such a difficult time and hopefully you feel that the transition was as smooth as possible. Please let us know if there is anything more we can do to make his stay as comfortable as possible.
My sister settled in well happy and new eating well.

The manager and staff have always been available to respond to our calls, enquiries, requests etc and phone calls with care, helpfulness and compassion. Covid has been a big challenge for everyone, staff have worked tirelessly to keep residents safe, doing their level best within Government guidance to assist families and kept informed and safe arrangements for Pod/room visits. Very tough times and we thank all at Ridley for their extremely hard work and support over the last 18 months whilst my husband has been a resident.
Thank you for your kind review. We really appreciate your understanding during what has been such a difficult time for everyone during the Covid pandemic.
I find the staff and management to be very helpful. The staff take good care of my mum and have a good rapport with her. The only issue I find is the number of agency workers that are required as my mum has to get used to a new person on a regular basis.
Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear you find everyone to be helpful, I will certainly pass your comments regarding agency staff on to the manager.
Brilliant care, caring staff, can't ask for better.

Satisfied with the care my sister receives at Ridley Park, they have been excellent at keeping COVID-19 at bay under very difficult circumstances.

I found the staff very caring to both client and relatives. The cleanliness of the home is excellent. We couldn't believe how our sister settled so well.
Thank you for your review. We hope the staff did everything they could to make the transition as easy as possible for you both. We hope to continue providing your sister with the best possible care.
Ridley Park is excellent. All staff work extremely hard in ensuring that residents are well cared for. They are all very attentive and helpful.

I cannot even begin to express my love for this care home. My grandad resided with Ridley Park from April 2020 until February 2021 where he passed away. The care that was provided was amazing, each and every staff member went above and beyond for my grandad and our family. We can’t recommend and thank them enough, beautiful home.
Thank you for your lovely review. It's always lovely to hear that our staff go above and beyond. We are so sorry for your loss but hopefully you can go away from this, knowing your Grandad received the best possible care.
Ridley Park care home provides a secure and caring environment for my 97-year-old father. The staff are extremely kind and patient. The last year has been difficult for everyone however, I'm not worried as I've been confident that my father's care needs have been met.
Thank you so much for taking your time to leave such a lovely review. We're so glad you feel Ridley Park provides a safe and caring environment for your father. We will be sure to pass your lovely words on to the team!
The staff have always been very helpful to my friend, who is profoundly deaf. They are patient and kind, and always welcome visitors and show them respect. I feel my friend, who now has no family, is safe and looked after well.
Thank you for sharing your kind review with us, we really appreciate your lovely feedback. We are so pleased to hear that you can feel at ease knowing your friend is in our care. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do.
During the early part of February, my 97-year-old mother was very poorly and started to refuse food and drink. There was a concern that she was heading towards end of life. Given the situation, the Ridley Park management team granted me daily access to visit my mother in her room. Each visit being proceeded by the lateral flow Covid-19 test and the wearing of full PPE once inside the care home. The combination of superb nursing and care by all staff along with the stimulus provided by my regular presence, resulted in my mother starting to eat and drink again. Slowly, but surely, she became stronger, and her overall health is now much improved. My experience over the past month or so has further reinforced my view, consistently held over the three years that my mother has been a resident, that Ridley Park is an excellent care home.
Thank you for your very kind review. I am so happy to read that your mother thrived in our care home and that her health is improving. Thank you for trusting us with your loved one’s care. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you or your mother whilst in our home.
I wouldn't like to take the responsibility of recommending a nursing home to anybody. I do however tell everybody who asks how delighted I am with the care my Aunt receives at Ridley Park. The home is always spotless. The laundry is excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. I was so please to see everybody again this week after visiting was allowed. I would like to thank the staff for all their hard work throughout the last year.
Thank you for your understanding during such a difficult time. We appreciate it is very hard not being able to see your loved one for such a long time. I am so happy that you feel your Aunt is well cared for and that you have taken the time to thank our staff at the home. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.
Both my mother and father have been cared for extremely well by the friendly staff. The facilities are excellent.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
