Ridley Park is a purpose-built care home, ideal for residential and nursing care needs, welcoming both short and long term stays. The home also provides residential dementia care.

There are so many places to relax. Residents can have their nails or hair done before taking a twirl in the ballroom. They can enjoy a coffee in the café or a drink in the bar, and then see a film in the home's cinema. And their reminiscence room helps recapture old memories. The wrap-around garden has patios for enjoying the fresh sea air. There’s a greenhouse for growing produce and raised beds.

All bedrooms have ensuite facilities, and for those requiring a larger living space, premier rooms with their own garden and front door are also available.

A range of tasty home-cooked meals are freshly prepared by the homes own chef who takes into account individual nutritional requirements. Residents may dine in the pleasant dining room or in the privacy of their own room if preferred.

I cannot even begin to express my love for this care home. My grandad resided with Ridley Park from April 2020 until February 2021 where he passed away. The care that was provided was amazing, each and every staff member went above and beyond for my grandad and our family. We can’t recommend and thank

Ridley Park care home provides a secure and caring environment for my 97-year-old father. The staff are extremely kind and patient. The last year has been difficult for everyone however, I'm not worried as I've been confident that my father's care needs have been met.

The staff have always been very helpful to my friend, who is profoundly deaf. They are patient and kind, and always welcome visitors and show them respect. I feel my friend, who now has no family, is safe and looked after well.

During the early part of February, my 97-year-old mother was very poorly and started to refuse food and drink. There was a concern that she was heading towards end of life. Given the situation, the Ridley Park management team granted me daily access to visit my mother in her room. Each visit being proceeded
by the lateral flow Covid-19 test and the wearing of full PPE once inside the care home. The combination of superb nursing and care by all staff along with the stimulus provided by my regular presence, resulted in my mother starting to eat and drink again. Slowly, but surely, she became stronger, and her overall health is now much improved. My experience over the past month or so has further reinforced my view, consistently held over the three years that my mother has been a resident, that Ridley Park is an excellent care home.

I wouldn't like to take the responsibility of recommending a nursing home to anybody. I do however tell everybody who asks how delighted I am with the care my Aunt receives at Ridley Park. The home is always spotless. The laundry is excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. I was so please to see
everybody again this week after visiting was allowed. I would like to thank the staff for all their hard work throughout the last year.

Ever since my Aunty moved into Ridley Park the staff within The Dunes Unit have been amazing. She has additional needs and all throughout her care they have shown her respect, dignity, and love. My Aunt is such a private and quiet lady but has built up some fabulous relationships with the staff and
they treat her like a member of their own family. I couldn't ask for anything more.

I live over 300 miles from the home so my direct experience is limited to occasional visits, however, I am in very regular remote contact and overall these indicate a well run and very caring establishment. It was most welcoming but not altogether surprising that it has performed so powerfully during
the COVID-19 crisis to date.

the staff understand my mother's needs and ensure she has the support she needs, whether it be eating, bathing, medical or absolutely anything else. The home gives a very good impression from the gardens and entrance with cafe, etc (very useful), the staff who are pleasant and helpful, they are kind to the residents which are mostly what is required. The food is good and plentiful and sandwiches are available if required. Activities are usually
adequate (not available now so much because of social distancing), more could be provided at times but residents are not always interested. Musical entertainment is popular especially the old songs they know (one singer brought props which they liked).

My mum has now been in this care home for nearly nine years and throughout that time has always been given the best of care. Mum's level of care has remained at a very high standard even through these awful times. The staff are caring, hard-working and very friendly and I am so pleased I found this

Ridley Park is a wonderful home for my dad. He is consistently well looked after and the staff go above and beyond for him and us. They take amazing care of him and are always helpful with every element of his life. The home is always clean and they keep a very high level of hygiene with him. Dad enjoys
the food and activities and they make such an effort with special days and occasions. I cannot thank everyone enough for the care they give him. I would highly recommend to anyone.

General cleanliness and hygiene are excellent. I have never noticed any unpleasant smells (e.g. urine), even on the nursing unit. Very welcoming at the main entrance and on the nursing floor with notice boards, flowers, pictures, books, etc. giving a homely ambience. The managers and staff have been
attentive towards Dad and welcoming to myself at all times, despite very complicated family and interpersonal relationships. All my questions have been taken up and answered. I am a Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist and therefore often shared my ideas and concerns with clinical staff. These have always been gratefully accepted and acted upon. Dad's opinions are also respected and he is always involved in decisions re his care and comfort. His room is pleasant and well equipped. The care staff, cleaning/housekeepers/handyman are really involved and are Dad's friends, often enjoying a joke and laughter with him.

Ridley Park is a very comfortable and welcoming home - my daughter settled in really quickly, and I have always been made to feel really welcome.
The quality of both the nursing and care provided is excellent, and all members of staff are very friendly and supportive.

My mum died at Ridley Park Care Home this week and her care over the period of her last illness and death has been absolutely amazing. The carers have cared for Mum with such skill, tenderness and concern but also looked after the family as Mum's life drew to a close. I was able to stay with Mum for
the last 2 nights of her life and couldn't have had more done to support me. As a family we were accorded the privacy needed at this sad time but we knew we only needed to ask and help was closeby. We really felt the love from all the staff and are so grateful they helped Mum have a death with dignity and family around.

It is an excellent home. I'm very happy with the service provided. They look after my mother very well. Her food is always mashed which helps a great deal. The only thing is I would like the home to provide the number entry on the door because sometimes I have to wait 10 minutes to gain entry!

My father has lived in Ridley Park for 7 months now. The staff team take care of all of his needs professionally. The building/facilities are of a high standard however, in my view it is the staff team that make the home the excellent standard that it is.
All the staff are friendly and welcoming and
support the families as well as the residents.

Following a serious fall by my mother at home, both parents had to leave their marital home for residential care. Dad was offered a residential care place whilst mam recuperated in the hospital. Dad was assisted to settle in with the utmost empathy, unit mam was able to take up her nursing care placement.
What could have been a very difficult time adjusting to such a major life change, has been greatly eased by the extremely caring and attentive staff. A huge relief for the family.


Mam was admitted into nursing care following a serious fall. She was able to join dad who had earlier been admitted into residential care, a great comfort to the family. As a former nurse, mam has high expectation of nursing care, but we have certainly not been disappointed. The caring, professional staff who attend to her every need following a recent stay in hospital. Mam was greeted with a "welcome home" what more can I say!
