I am very happy with the care my husband is receiving, the staff are very friendly and supportive to me. My only criticism is the lack of any rehabilitation. Please note that my husband is peg fed so I am unable to comment on the food. He is also unable to participate in any activities and his care
is funded.

My friend stayed in The Willows. She was looked after by wonderful, caring staff and management. All were so helpful in every way.


I would recommend this place in Enfield to anyone who has family or friends in need of first-class care.

I feel it necessary to formally write to you in regards to my dad's care (lack of), whilst in your nursing home.


My dad was transferred to your care on Wednesday 25th April after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.


Our family were assured by continuing health care that this home was able to

provide adequate care to someone that was coming to end of life. In my opinion, your staff are lacking basic skills to care for patients with a terminal illness.


Throughout my dad's stay at your home, my concerns were raised with staff. On some occasions, I did feel that the home did feel like it was slightly understaffed.


I think it is extremely sad that someone coming to end of life is not cared for appropriately. Although the staff in most part were kind, it felt they were lacking skills to manage patients with my dad's condition.


I have sent an email directly to the home, have received no response so thought I should put information here.

My uncle was given only two weeks to live when he was taken into the care home. This was in January 2018 and since then he has gone from strength to strength. The Manager and his team give my uncle such good care and emotional support. They are always on hand to answer questions and to give us updates
on my uncle's health and care plan. They are proactive and think ahead in terms of linking in specialist care so my uncle's needs are met. We have been amazed at the care and attention we all see my uncle is getting.

Mum was only living in Azalea Court for eight days before she passed away, but in that short space of time, she was treated with kindness and dignity. All members of staff explained to Mum what they were doing, even though at times she wasn't in a position to understand - but it was important to us,
her family to witness it.
Having spent the previous two weeks in hospital where staff just didn't have time to attend to Mum at times, I promised her that she would be staying somewhere where she would be looked after, and Azalea Court definitely provided that care. I would highly recommend Azalea Court , I only wish that Mum had been able to move there earlier in her final weeks.

Staff are friendly and welcoming. I have noticed that sometimes things asked for by my relative e.g. Drinking water, are sometimes forgotten and maintenance issues are not always dealt with, with any urgency e.g. Broken call button, dripping taps. He doesn't attend any activities, so I can't comment
on those. The food is fab!

Azalea Court is very clean at all times of the day. Carers, nurses and management are always polite and friendly. Because I have been coming every day for nearly 4 years, most of the staff and nurses are on first name terms and call me by my name which is very nice and not clinical.

My father has been a resident at Azalea Court since September 2017. There were a few initial problems in terms of adjustment, for both my father and my mother, who visits every day; examples were a language and understanding challenge, behavioural challenges and medication. These issues have all been
resolved and as a family, we all feel more settled and happy that my Dad has settled well too.

Care is sympathetic to my friend's condition, allowing him the choices he deserves and is offered this period of palliative care. He is encouraged (successfully) to eat well, which previously he did not, he is also pain-free in spite of his medical condition. All staff are approachable for any queries
or requests for advice.

It has declined steeply for 2 years, most noticeably the lack of staff retention/engagement. In April '16 I was told my aunt wasn't eating and I should tell her to eat, also that she was sleeping on the floor. I found her passed out on the floor alone in her room. Refusing food is a symptom of end stage
dementia. This home claims to specialise in Dementia care however the staff there didn't recognise this. My aunt had been passing out on a regular basis but rather than contacting a GP or sending her to hospital they carried on as normal.


My aunt was in hospital from May until September when she died. During this time no-one from the home contacted me or the hospital to see how she was, although she'd been resident for over 4 years. (They still invoiced though). When I collected her belongings her new clothes were missing. I wrote to the manager about this and my concerns following staff's failure to recognise and act on dementia symptoms. I never received any reply.

I found each and every staff member from the Manager, the nurses, the day staff, all exceptional. My father was looked after with dignity and care, nothing was too much trouble for any member of the staff. The Home makes a great effort to ensure that you feel as you are visiting your loved one at
home. The overall standard of care was far more than I expected and I would not hesitate in recommending Azalea Court.

Placement from October 2016. Staff and management are friendly and approachable. The home is very pleasant, rooms are comfortable.
The food is well presented and cooked. Laundry is good and activities suitable. Privacy is respected. Fire alarm is tested regularly.

Azalea Court was very welcoming when we arrived, and although my mum was only there for 1 week I was so happy with the care and support that me and my family received.
The manager at Azalea Court came to assess mum in hospital and I just felt confident straight away - the manager continued to support
during and after my mother's death.


Although she has now gone I feel her last week of life spent there could not have been better. I felt Azalea Court was 'the' best care that I could have found for my mum.

I am so grateful to the staff at Azalea Court for the way they looked after my father. The end of life care that my father received was 'second to none'. My father was treated with the utmost dignity at all times and the home is spotlessly clean.
Sadly my father passed away after only ten days but
I will always be grateful to the staff and their dedication to my father.
