I would like to thank the staff at Azalea Court for everything they do for my mum. You all have a laugh and a joke with her, that puts a smile on her face, she thinks you are all her friends and that's nice to see. You treat her with respect and do the best you can with her. A huge thanks to all the staff on the poppy ward, you are the best. Keep up the good work. :)

My mother has been in Azalea Court for six months, the staff male and female have been on top for their care and kindness. Me, as her daughter, cannot praise them enough.

Azalea Court was very welcoming when we arrived, and although my mum was only there for 1 week I was so happy with the care and support that me and my family received.

The manager at Azalea Court came to assess mum in hospital and I just felt confident straight away - the manager continued to support during and after my mother's death.

Although she has now gone I feel her last week of life spent there could not have been better. I felt Azalea Court was 'the' best care that I could have found for my mum.

I am so grateful to the staff at Azalea Court for the way they looked after my father. The end of life care that my father received was 'second to none'. My father was treated with the utmost dignity at all times and the home is spotlessly clean.

Sadly my father passed away after only ten days but I will always be grateful to the staff and their dedication to my father.

Thank you Maxine for the kind words. I will pass them to the staff at the home.

Overall Experience

Our mother came to Azalea Court in February 2016 to receive nursing care. The quality of care she received was excellent. The nurses and carers built a relationship with her and supported her fully in having the best life she could have under difficult circumstances. The staff were extremely approachable, friendly and kept us fully informed of her well-being. When she was dying they were so sensitive, deeply respectful. They cared about her dignity and allowed us to have an intimate ending with our mother, for this we will be forever grateful. If there is such a thing it was a perfect end to our mother's life.

Thank you for your kind words. I know the staff strive to enable people and provide the environment and care needed to ensure that even at the most difficult of times the support and comfort are there. It is enabling for the staff to hear these reviews and know that they were able to make a difference. Thank you.

My aunt was exceptionally well cared during her 12 days respite, particularly with regard to feeding and handling her and providing her with the peace and quiet she so enjoys. Other relatives and friends were welcomed and involved in her care in this very friendly and well organised place which treats everyone as an individual. Visiting her was a pleasure.
