Thank you for taking to time to review Canterbury House and we are pleased that you rate our overall experience as very good. We apologise that you have not always felt welcome and that our care/support has occasionally not met our normally high standards. The well being of our residents and high quality care is always our priority and we welcome visitors as an integral part of day-to-day life. We encourage feedback to ensure we can consistently improve at Canterbury House. We're happy to discuss decorating your aunt's room as she would like or moving to another en suite room if she would prefer. We also have assisted bathrooms throughout our home, if residents would prefer to use these.
Thank you for taking the time to review Canterbury House and we are pleased you rate our management as excellent. We appreciate your kind feedback regarding our home and team and I will pass this on. We now have changed our Team Leader uniform, so you can easily identify the best person to talk to regarding a resident's health and care. Members of management are also available if you're unable to speak to a Team Leader or if you're unaware of who are the best people to speak with.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the carehome.co.uk review. Your feedback is very important to us, and I am sorry your experiences at Canterbury House over the past months have not been to the usual excellent standard. We have experienced some changes in our team and the absence of senior colleagues within our home. We have allocated a Registered Manager and Regional Support Manager to Canterbury House, and communication with residents and their families has been a priority. Since November, we have been sending weekly newsletters and had monthly face-to-face meetings with both residents and relatives. The attendees have found the updates and opportunity to discuss progress for the home valuable. I am sorry to hear of the poor communication from a colleague. We have been focusing on developing our leadership, communication and behaviour in line with Anchor’s values, and this continues to be monitored and developed through observations, workshops, meetings and colleague supervision.
