Anchor’s Hatfield House in Hatfield near Doncaster is a purpose-built care home, providing quality care and facilities within a comfortable and relaxing environment. The home continues to welcome new residents.

Finished to a high standard and built with the care of its residents in mind, the home offers a wide range of facilities combined with the latest technology. Each room is single and has an en-suite wet room.

The home provides residential care which is personally tailored to meet the individual needs of customers and enhance their quality of life.

The care team works with customers and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure each individual’s health and care needs are continually met. Anchor provides dementia care and provides on-going training to care staff to ensure their approach always reflects best practice.

Anchor is England’s largest provider of housing and care for those over 55 years of age and has 60 years of experience as a not-for-profit provider of services to older people.

July has been a tricky month for us as Mum broke her arm in June. I have not worried once about Mum though. All the staff have been amazing. Extra measures have been put in place without us having to ask. I can see clearly that the staff continually care about her. Hopefully Mum will be back to herself
soon so she can join in the activities. She loves painting and baking so she will be pulling up a chair as soon as she can thank you very much.

We have been very pleased with the care my father has received. The staff have been attentive and supported him at all times. They have developed a good rapport with my father and helped him settle in. He loves the food and eats well. His room is kept spotless at all times.

My mother has been a resident at Hatfield House for nearly two years now and up to recently when her care needs increased she was living on the more residential floor. Mother has now moved onto a different floor where there are more care staff on hand to cope with the increase in needs of the residents.
The home is a very pleasant environment which we have found to be clean, secure and provide well for Mum's needs. All the staff are very pleasant and professional and always prepared to help with the simplest of requests. There are always things occurring with themed activities and decorations the most recent being VE Day when staff were dressed as land army girls or in 1940s style clothing. A pleasant place to be and we as a family have no regrets in our choice.

My mum has been a resident at Hatfield House for a couple of years now, and the standard of care and service is excellent. Recently my mum was taken to hospital seriously ill, luckily she recovered and was able to return to the home. When she was discharged from the hospital, they forgot to send her
medication one of the staff off-duty went to collect it for her. The staff have been exceptional on her return and are contributing to her recovery. A big thank you to everyone!

Hatfield House provided a very high standard of care to my late wife for four years. My dad came into Hatfield House for assisted living. He now needs full-time care. I live elsewhere and only see Dad every four weeks. I go home with no worries about his care and because of the distance, the staff call me regularly to put my mind at rest. On my visit to the home, the staff are always
caring and considerate and nothing is too much trouble. The food is first class and his room is always very clean and tidy. Thank you to all.

Mum moved into Hatfield House four months ago and settled in very quickly. She is very happy and adores the staff, telling me that they all spoil her rotten! They are extremely thoughtful, considerate, patient and attentive to her. The home is kept immaculately clean, all the time and Mum really enjoys
the delicious food, there is always a choice at meal times, so she can for something she really likes. It is such a huge relief for me to know that she is so happy and well cared for by such kind and wonderful staff.

The home is well-run with lovely caring staff. The food and snacks are always available to enjoy. Dad has only recently moved into the home. I was very impressed with how welcoming it was. The staff were very attentive, and obviously, the home is run very efficiently. Everyone I came across, carers and residents alike, seemed happy and contented. Obviously, this is very early to be making an assessment,
but I can say I was very satisfied and reassured by what I saw and experienced.

I am more than pleased with the care and attention given to my uncle who has settled in very well. We were worried he would not accept care home life but with he dedication of this staff of this home we can she how he has changed to being comfortable with his situation. He never complains about the
food or facilities. We feel relief that he has fitted in. If we have any concerns the staff deal with it promptly and he looks so well. We can see the care he receives. The home and rooms are always clean and fresh looking. Well done.

I have found all staff helpful and understanding. Maybe more activities for residents who are able but due to Covid, I understand this is likely a problem.
I have witnessed the staff being busy and concerned regarding residents.

This is the best home I have been to, it's clean. modern rooms with showers and toilet. Rooms opening out into the gardens, all the staff are helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Mum is happy with food and her care. Thanks to all.

Hatfield House is not the cheapest it is not the dearest but it is the best place you can go to. It is very, very good. My wife has been there for three years. I haven't had any complaints of anything it's very clean, smells very nice. All the staff are very good. I give it 10 out of 10.
