Anchor’s Hatfield House in Hatfield near Doncaster is a purpose-built care home, providing quality care and facilities within a comfortable and relaxing environment. The home continues to welcome new residents.

Finished to a high standard and built with the care of its residents in mind, the home offers a wide range of facilities combined with the latest technology. Each room is single and has an en-suite wet room.

The home provides residential care which is personally tailored to meet the individual needs of customers and enhance their quality of life.

The care team works with customers and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure each individual’s health and care needs are continually met. Anchor provides dementia care and provides on-going training to care staff to ensure their approach always reflects best practice.

Anchor is England’s largest provider of housing and care for those over 55 years of age and has 60 years of experience as a not-for-profit provider of services to older people.

Mum has been at Hatfield House since Sept 20 however due to Covid I have been unable to visit as only 1 family member can visit. She seems happy and looked after on the video calls and we are very happy to be able to do this to keep in touch with her. Overall I am happy with her care and look forward
to being able to see her face to face.

Since first lockdown, I have had limited visits to see my wife. Garden visits then behind a screen. When before I visited every day so can't make a proper review. Before lockdown, everything was fine, no complaints but I do facetime my wife, she looks healthy and fine. Management and staff are doing
a great job in these uncertain times.

My mother and father have both been residents of this care home, and I and my family have been very happy and satisfied with the care they have received.
Sadly now, they have both passed away, but I would like to say that the care home has given myself and my sister peace of mind that they had been
cared for in the best environment.

We have all had a terrible year. The worst part for me has been not visiting my mother since March. What has kept me going is knowing that the staff of Hatfield House, the Hatfield House family, have looked after her as if she were theirs. I miss seeing her but know that she is being well cared for
and loved. Thank you.

I am highly satisfied with the level of care which is provided for my Auntie in the care home. Her needs are generally met to a high standard, the staff being very caring. The staff do treat residents individually and with respect. There have been improvements in communication more recently which have
been implemented well. I would and have recommended Hatfield House to friend/relatives for their loved ones.

Your carers are always helpful and cheery with residents. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The place is always immaculately clean, which must be a struggle with older people who leave things out so they can't find them again.

Hatfield House is the best residential home that I have ever been in. I was a nurse for over 25-years and have worked in several homes.
It has a 'hotel' feel about it. Fantastic staff, great food and wonderful outings. My friend is a resident and is very happy there. I would not hesitate to recommend
it.

Although my Mother was in Hatfield House for only a short time, I cannot praise too highly the treatment she received, and especially the loving care and attention during her final days. At all times she was treated with love dignity and respect. Many thanks to all the staff from the family.

My wife was transferred to Hatfield House last December, after a short stay in hospital. Her treatment in Hatfield House has been exemplary.
All the caring staff have treated her with courtesy, kindness and efficiency at all times. I am lost in admiration at the cheerfulness with which they tackle
the many challenges which arise in dealing with people who are experiencing a wide range of difficulties. It is a great comfort to me to know that my wife is in such good hands.

Throughout my mum's residency at Hatfield House, I wish to say a huge 'Thank you' to certain staff in particular. The resident hairdresser is irreplaceable. She constantly shows patience, respect and superb good humour, knowing all the residents so well as she has been working here the whole time my
mum has been a resident (5 yrs). Also, a special mention please to several other carers who took special care of mum during the three paramedic phone call outs in Dec 2017. Thank you all.

My mother has now been a resident in Hayfield House for two years and having had previous experience with other residential homes, my sister and I have been very satisfied with the care she receives there on the whole. We are always greeted by staff in a very friendly manner and we feel we are able
to discuss and issues we have with them. My mother , her room and the home in general is kept clean and is a pleasant atmosphere occasionally lack of staff has been a concern as the lack of activities.
