Mum was admitted to Cherry Garth on 8th November 2017. She specifically requested a ground floor room, which Cherry Grove were able to provide.
I visit Mum twice a week and am always impressed by the appearance and cleanliness of the home.
The efficiency and kindness of the staff and the care they provide to Mum is unfailing.
They are endlessly patient when feeding Mum and at night time, they turn her every two hours, to prevent sores.
Mum has a degree of memory loss and the staff handle this with great sensitivity.

I'm always made to feel welcome, whenever I visit.

My husband was admitted into care at Cherry Garth two years ago. He has recently died, during his time there he was given excellent care and treated with respect by all the carers. He was able to listen to music of his choice in the communal sitting room. Until very recently when his dementia became worse he took part in various activities and I was able to visit him often whenever I chose.

I visit my friend about once a month - and attend his review meetings. Everything I see during these visits, and his information regarding his daily life sounds as if this home is very good. I have worked as an advocate for disabled people, and seen

My aunt is enjoying things at the care home she is in. She seems to get on well with the staff who are very kind and always helpful. My aunt says she could not be in a better place. I agree and find the staff are always very kind.

Well run, excellent care workers, right down to the cleaners. Lovely garden to sit in the sun, get some fresh air and take my mum's mind off day to day living, which at 95 is a challenge. I would recommend the care home to anyone.

I moved my mother to Cherry Garth 18 months ago when her dementia worsened to the extent that she could no longer stay in her previous care home. Having had two years experience of care homes we were very careful in choosing Cherry Garth. However, our experience has been wonderful. She has settled in very well and been well looked after. The staff are excellent. In fact, in the last two months, we have moved my partner's ex-mother-in-law into the same home!

Cherry Garth was my mother's home for almost five years. Despite suffering the progressive effects of Alzheimer's, she lived a happy and meaningful life there, made possible by the wonderful care staff and superb management team.

From a family viewpoint, it was always a pleasure to visit Ma. Before she moved in, we were able to furnish her room to replicate her family home, which gave her the comfort of familiar surroundings and she always had the freedom to potter around in the kitchen, bringing continuity to that of her normal daily routine. Many happy memories with Ma and fellow residents and their families at Cherry Garth including Christmas parties, 'Fine Dining' evenings, summer barbecues in the garden and numerous music events.

My mum was a resident at Cherry Garth since Aug 2012. The kindness, love and support that the incredible team of management and care staff has been outstanding.
My mum was encouraged to live the active lifestyle she always had and despite her dementia, she was happy in her 'home' pottering.
Her care was given with thought and respect and staff took the time to get to know and love her. They were able to cope with times of anxiety by giving her time to chat through things. This understanding created a bond of trust which was an incredible support and reassurance for me as I knew mum was being well looked after.
It was a wonderful place to visit ....just like home.
I realise that choosing a care home is an incredible responsibility and I visited many in the High Wycombe area. Cherry Garth ticked all the boxes - spacious, clean and bright, with en suite rooms and a lovely atmosphere.

Staff did well organising a range of activities and went far beyond their job roles to make residents feel at home

We went to visit many care homes before entrusting our mother to the wonderful Cherry Garth. Everything about it is superb. The care staff always go the extra mile. They have made my mother feel she is 'at home' and are always welcoming to us.

On one visit, I arrived to find all the top floor residents gathered in the kitchen to help the cook make a Christmas cake, a happy moment!

Amazing carers, lovely and welcoming. I could not say a bad word about them all. I have to add the staff were amazing. I just don't know what my family would have done without those three.
