The staff are really caring and passionate about their roles. They create a lovely atmosphere and have a holistic approach for the resident's families. They listen to the needs and do their utmost to make it happen. Most recently they put on a race night, which is my dad's favourite pastime. It was
a great night which brought family and friends together !!

I cannot thank the staff on Nightingale Unit enough for the care that they gave my mother. They are a very friendly and caring group people. The home is extremely welcoming and homely and there is a lovely atmosphere around the home. As soon as you walk through the doors you just know that everybody
feels at home in the wonderful surroundings.

My Mum was resident in Willow Park April - May 2017, she was admitted from a hospital. Following surgery Mum became confused and her behaviour challenging, it was decided she required 24/7 care. We were fortunate to secure a place in Willow Park, Mum took a little while to settle, but not only did she
settle in Willow Park, she was made to feel safe, secure and loved by every member of staff charged with caring for her.
Everywhere is spotlessly clean, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, residents are happy and content and the staff are just amazing. My Mum received the very best care possible, cared for by a team of wonderful, very professional and extremely caring committed individuals, who work together like a well-oiled machine. They give their all and nothing is too much trouble.
We thank you all, from the bottom our hearts, for not only making Mum's last weeks as comfortable and pleasant as humanly possible but also for the support we received throughout. We are forever grateful.

My sister went into care at the age of 91 and died in this wonderful care home on Nov 16 aged 95 years. It was very difficult having tp put her into care and I thought no one would be able to look after her in the way that I had been doing. But I was proved wrong by the amazing staff at Willow Park.
She was not only cared for but truly loved by all. We had happy and sad days but the support for not only my sister but myself as well was far beyond my expectations. She was treated with patience, dignity and a deep understanding of the need of people with dementia.

After a torturous year in a dreadful care home, finding Willow Park was a dream. The standards are obvious on first entering the home. Beautifully decorated and resourced, spotlessly clean, with period accessories to stimulate and elderly clientele. The staff are incredible. Caring, compassionate, considerate,
kind, and devoted. They completely GET dementia care. My Mum has blossomed in the months she has been in Willow Park. Thank you to all, my worries dissolved overnight. They even look after my visiting Dad.

Current Review Score: 9.2 (9.214)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.2 (9.214) out of 10 for Willow Park is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 11 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.6 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.611 for Willow Park is calculated as follows: ( (100 Excellents x 5) + (16 Goods x 4) + (11 Satisfactorys x 3) + (3 Poors x 2) + (1 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 131 Ratings = 4.611
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.603 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Willow Park is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 64 registered maximum number of service users is 12.8. 9 Positive Reviews ÷ 12.8 = 0.703
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

I have worked at Willow Park since June 2021. I have worked in the care sector in various roles for 10 years. I love my job at Willow Park. The best part of my job is the interactions with the residents and relatives. As an administrator, I am there to support not only the financial side of the home but also the well-being and transition period throughout the stay of our residents.

Willow Park is for me a warm inviting home that is full of fun and laughter, great consideration goes to the resident's wishes. I am proud to be part of the team.
