The home is a lovely place to visit. The staff so friendly and helpful. My mother in law seems very content with her surroundings. Her room including the bathroom is always clean. Anytime I go in I’m made feel welcome

Overall from a family's perspective of a resident in Weavers Care Home, we are more than happy with the attention/care our mother/grandmother is receiving. We as a family have built up a good friendship with the staff who care so much and nothing is ever too much bother for them to ensure that our mother/grandmother is getting the best possible care.

Lovely friendly staff. A great atmosphere within the home. Both staff and residents are always happy, no complaints about staffing. Feel like I can leave my granda in good hands and don’t be worried about the level of care whilst absent.

Overall Experience

Mum was moved to nursing care, having been on the top floor, early 2023. The staff were all superb both prior to, during and after her move. They treat her with the greatest of dignity, and respect her Alzheimer's needs. The staff work tirelessly to ensure she is as happy and content as possible. They always keep in contact with family and keep us updated. They involve family in planned activities and party events. It feels like a home from home. I cannot thank every member of staff involved in Mum's care enough. You have allowed me peace of mind.

Review from Michael E (Nephew of Resident) published on 29 December 2023 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My aunt is currently a resident and her care to say the least is abysmal. I would not recommend this home to people who need feeding, toileting or a general level of care. There are only two staff on the floor and that is insufficient to provide the necessary level of care. These homes are profit motivated and residents are secondary. Staff are underpaid and that in part determines the quality of service. I can't get my aunt out quick enough.

In respect of my Aunt (a resident) sadly, in my opinion, I have found the level of care to be well below standards set by the RQIA.
Having raised genuine and legitimate concerns with the home I have been met with a wall of hostility. The only action taken, a complaint made against me to my aunt's next of kin and her social worker. I am at fault for daring to speak up for a loved one who is unable to speak for herself, I can only feel for residents who have no one to speak up on their behalf.

I feel vilified for speaking out but will not be silenced.

My Mum went into this home on November 2022. My Mum gets the care and attention she needs and all the staff are friendly and extremely brilliant at their job. For me it is a pleasure to go and see my Mum and knowing she is content and happy and more importantly really well looked after gives me great satisfaction. Thank you.

I travelled from the USA to visit my relative during pandemic conditions. From the outset, the staff at this home carried out and explained the strict regulations necessary with politeness. I found the home conditions, cleanliness and food supplied were to the highest standard. The working staff were friendly, courteous, kind, interesting and considerate to both my relative and me. Words cannot describe the dedication, interactions and happiness on display by staff every day and they are a true credit to their employers. I return to the USA with the knowledge that my relative is in excellent hands to be cared for in my absence. 5-stars.

I have a great relationship with Weavers House Care Home which my mum is a resident. The care is second to none, the staff are so friendly and have great compassion for my mum and us as a family. I feel they treat my mum as a very special person and cater for her individual needs first and dementia second. I feel very much at home when I'm visiting Mum and they make me very welcome. I would recommend Weavers House to anyone.
