Mum has settled really well to life in Weavers House especially during the current situation with covid. All the staff have been fantastic with mum and always reassured us as a family with any concerns or questions we have had. Mum is so happy and always smiling when we visit.

The entire team at Weavers House are to be commended for their professionalism, care, hard work and dedication throughout these extremely difficult covid-19 times. The care offered to my mother is exemplary, dedicated and compassionate. Communication with the home is excellent. It is both my personal and professional opinion that the care is safe, effective, compassionate and well-led.

It was a pleasure visiting Weavers House as a volunteer pre-covid. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the residents are obviously well cared for. The activities coordinator is very talented and arranges a fantastic programme for the residents, which they take part in enthusiastically. The children involved in my project (inter-generational choir) had a great experience working with the residents and were always rewarded with beautiful snacks and treats by the team. The staff are dedicated to their work and have a very good rapport with the residents. I have kept in contact with the staff and hope to re-establish the link with our school as soon as it is safe to do so.

We would like to thank the staff at Weavers for all their help and patience in settling Mum into her new residence. Mum has settled so well and always seem happy when we see her on FaceTime. Getting to visit Mum weekly in the pod has also helped us all adjust, although we can't wait for face to face visits. The staff are very helpful when we phone and give us weekly updates.

All the staff are amazing and treat my mother with respect and love. In the last 12-months, dealing with the pandemic has not been easy. However, I have been kept up to date about my mothers care and have been sent photos. We tried phone and video calls, but together, we made the decision this was actually more stressful for my mum. Mum has memory problems. I am now part of care support, which I am able to call in (with PPE) and see my mum in her room for approx 45mins. This is such a relief for both me and my mother. The support from the Weavers team has been outstanding. Not just with the basic everyday care, but for my mothers mental health support. They supported me and Mum in dealing with guilt and worry about medical and mental health issues. We all know it’s not easy watching our parents loosing their independence... or for them. Every single member of staff in Weavers are now mine and my mothers extended family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

This has been a trying year for everyone but the staff has more to bear with than most. They were taking care of our vulnerable family members as well as their own families. Please pass on our heartfelt thanks to our mum's loving and thoughtful carers, who rang us every week with an update.

Weavers care home is an excellent place, which provides my sister with all the care, love and dignity, which she deserves and gives us, as a family, reassurance and peace of mind. The staff and residents have become an extension of our family, and always ensure us of the warmest of welcomes. They have been stoic in their duty of care throughout this awful pandemic, and we consider ourselves very fortunate that our sister is so well cared for in this excellent home. Well done, Weavers, and God Bless you all.

In 2020, the covid virus struck us, leaving us all vulnerable. The staff in Weavers House started shielding early, which had a great impact. The elderly residents were treated with the greatest care and protection. I received a weekly call from the chargehand which let me know how my mummy was keeping. I can't praise the staff enough.

Despite all the uncertainty and distress of covid-19 and adverse effects of health, life and wellbeing, my mum has received excellent medical and personal care from all the management and staff at Weavers House nursing home. When we arrive for a visit, we are always treated with dignity, honesty and kindness by the administrator and manager. Both ladies are lovely human beings and it is a joy to be in their presence. Mum has survived and continues to be in good health, thanks to the good care given. Thank you.

As my Mum has only been a resident from December 2019 until the present, I can only give comments on December, January, February. Mum is so happy in her new residence. The staff is so friendly and compassionate. Mum is well cared for. The cleanliness of both Mum and the facilities are excellent. The food is very good. Any queries we as a family have had have always been addressed promptly. As we are in the middle of the virus, I can't fault anyone. All above and beyond. I can't praise all staff and procedures enough.

We were reluctant to have to put Mum into a home, however, it was a necessity. The relief we as a family felt when she settled quickly into Weavers House was immense. The staff, each and everyone, are so relaxed and friendly. The home has a lovely homely feeling. During the lockdown, when we call it is never a problem speaking to Mum and hearing how happy she is, was wonderful. Thank you to all at Weavers House.

I highly recommend the nursing home. I use it all the time for respite. The staff is like family to Daddy and myself. It is home from home for us. When Daddy is here I know he is happy and content, so am I.
