My thanks to Della, Stacey, and the team at Cross Way House for the exemplary care and consideration shown to our friend, over the time he was with you, the caring, professional attitude made his settling in and stay very comfortable. Thank you all.
My mum is a resident at this amazing and caring home. After my mum was diagnosed with Dementia,I never knew what care home was going to be caring and safe for her.And I have now found her the perfect place at Crossways..From every member off staff and the manager Della, they are all absolutely amazing..My mum has changed so much, for the better since she has been at Crossways..I also love to come for the entertainment as well..Seeing all the residents so happy every time I visit makes me know,I picked the best care for my mum.
My father is given excellent care by the staff at Cross Way House. He is happy and settled and very well looked after. During a recent illness, everything was done to aid his recovery and keep him comfortable. I am very grateful to all the staff for their support and kindness.
It is a truly wonderful place to be. If dad has been ill ( which in nearly five years, is only twice) .. then all the stops are pulled out, and the doc or emergency staff seem to turn up in minutes to help. On Both occasions the staff too, have been amazing in keeping me posted and in their fantastic care for Dad.
Entertainment is great too, always something happening and the residents are encouraged to join in, but free to make a choice.
I've already booked my room!!
A Mahooooosive thanks from me and Dad, to all the lovely staff and Management !!
Thank you for the kind words and great review he likes to keep us on our toes and his amazing Wit and sense of humour brings a lot of laughter to the home.
My mother was in Cross Way House for a relatively short time but my wife and I couldn't fault the care that she received from all of the staff. She was treated with kindness and dignity the whole time she was there. Unfortunately due to a short illness she recently passed away and we couldn't have been given more care and understanding at this sad time. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Cross Way House for making the last few months of my mums life the most comfortable and dignified that they were able.
We will all miss your mum happy tunes especially Daisy Daisy. It was a pleasure to have care for her and to be able to comfort you at this sad time.
We often have questions regarding Mum, and every single member of staff from management to laundry are always willing to chat with us and answer any questions we may have.
We can't thank you all enough for looking after Mum so well. We really do appreciate it.
Thank you for your review, it's a pleasure to look after your mum.
Staff are great with Nan. Very friendly and helpful at all times. The home feels safe and you always get a warm welcoming. I am happy my nan is being looked after by a fabulous team. Credit to all the staff and the manager who runs a great care home.
Thank you for your lovely review. Your nan is a lovely lady and we enjoy her singing of daisy, daisy.
From the manager, deputy manager to the care staff, kitchen staff, cleaners, activities organiser and laundry staff, I have only found all the staff to be welcoming, friendly, kind, caring and always happy to speak to you if I have any concerns about my mum. The staff have never been rude to any family members. Since my mum moved in to Cross Way House, she has come on leaps and bounds, she loves living there, she loves all the staff and has a lot of respect for them and what they do for her on a daily basis. I have never seen my mum so happy. We were very lucky to find this care home, couldn't be happier, knowing my mum is in safe hands and being very well cared for.
Thank you for you lovely review, we enjoy listening to all your mums adventures she has with the staff team. It's nice to see her build friendships with other residents.
We always ring to say we are on our way, this gives them time to have mum in her bedroom.
Unfortunately today I spoke with assistant manager to say we were coming to see mum regarding POA so needed to speak in private in her room.
The assistant manager was rude on the phone saying we have only put your mum in the day room and now you want us to move her and then you only stay for a few minutes, we are busy and you will have to wait if your mum is not in her room. We were happy to wait.
When we see mum, normally after one minute she asks us to leave, we respect this.
I tried to explain to the assistant manager why we don't stay long, but she was not interested.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience regarding your visits. We sincerely value feedback as it helps us continuously improve the care and services we provide. We are pleased to hear that you have generally found our staff helpful and accommodating and appreciated being able to...
My sister moved into Cross Way because she could not look after herself via hospital. She has put on weight which is great. Her personality and well-being are better. The staff are caring and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble, I feel better that she is in a safe and secure environment. The activities are great especially the sing a long which my sister likes. She is always clean and tidy. My wife and I thank you very much for looking after her.
It has been a pleasure to welcome your sister to Cross Way.
My Mother-in-law moved to Cross Way after a period in hospital. The home has made her feel welcome and my Mother-in-law loved living at Cross Way. The staff team is amazing, friendly, and very helpful from management down to the very caring care staff team. I would highly recommend Cross Way to anyone's family member.
Thank you for your lovely review your mother-in-law has settled in well and has made some good friends at Cross Way.
The management and staff treat Mum with patience and kindness. Mum has advanced dementia and has displayed challenging behaviors, this has never been made to feel like a problem, just dealt with.
I do feel Mum is at home and in the best place to meet her needs and keep her safe.
I have no worries about Mums well well-being and wish everyone at Cross Way all the best to keep up their good work.
Thank you for your review and kind words your mum is a great character and well-liked by staff and residents.
I am impressed with this care home. It is spotlessly clean, quite modern, and has ongoing facilities. All of the caring team has made my Mum feel welcome from the beginning of her stay. They always keep up to date on her well-being and what she has eaten etc. It is so comforting to know how well my Mum is being looked after. The staff, in my eyes, treat all the residents as if they are their own family. Showing care, affection, and friendliness. Thank you to all.
Thank you for your kind words and it is a pleasure to care for your mum.
I'm very happy living here. All the staff are wonderful and caring. The activities are great.
It is a pleasure to have you living here and you keep us entertained with your jokes.
Spacious rooms, all good... come and join us!
Having you living here brings a lot of laughter and keeps us feeling happy especially your daily comments about a particular member of staff.
Staff very friendly and caring. It's a lovely home with all our needs taken care of. If you have a query over anything, the manager is always available for a private meeting.
We love having you live here at Cross Way, from all the staff team.
Can not thank the team enough for the support they give me Dad every single day. My dad went into the home as an emergency in June 2023 and my dad decided that he liked it there and wanted to stay. He has good and bad days but the team is amazing with him. My dad is happy now he is with my mum in the home and he loves all the staff, I couldn’t wish for anything more.
It is a pleasure to care for both of your parents, they both keep us on our toes but they are an amazing couple. They make us laugh with their cheeky comments.
My friend's partner's Mother is a resident at the Cross Ways, it is a wonderful home, with lovely staff, and the residents are all happy.
Thank you for your kind review, it is a pleasure to care for your friend's partner's mum.
I cannot begin to describe how happy I am with the care of Mum whilst at Cross Way House. Mum was only at Crossway a short time but she was quickly accepted as a member of the Crossway family. The management and staff were/are the most caring considerate professionals I have ever met. Mum was cared for like she was a member of the family and treated with kindness whilst maintaining her independence and dignity as much as possible. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who treated my family like lifelong friends. I cannot praise the staff enough. Thank you for caring for Mum and allowing me to be her son again.
Thank you for your very kind words we just wish she could have been with us for longer (don't forget to to pop in for a coffee)
My mother moved into the care home after a time in the hospital. She was made to feel very welcome by the staff and soon settled in. I feel she is in a safe environment and is being very well cared for. Since the first week of moving in she has become more alert. sociable and looks so much happier than when she was in her own home. The activities are very good and certainly help to stimulate her mentally and socially. It is a relief to me to know she is in safe and caring hands.
Your mum is an amazing lady and a pleasure to care for.
