Due to my sister-in-law's condition, she is unable to communicate her own satisfaction with Cross Way House, but it is evident from her demeanour each time we visit that she is very happy to be there. Having been in care for most of her adult life, we think that the care she gets, the attitude of the
staff and the general running of the home is the best treatment she has ever received. We are kept in constant awareness by the team if there are any concerns about her health. We are very grateful to all at Cross Way House.

This care home provides a loving caring approach to the residents. They are always well fed, cleanly, clothed and respectable which cannot be easy when or if they are incontinent.
I am always kept informed if there is a problem with her health or if she needs anything. My aunt has put on nearly 2 stone
in the last year which is fabulous as she was well under weight when transferred to Cross Way House. The staff are her family now as she relates to them better than to her actual family.
Dementia is horrid but the staff here make her feel normal which is great. The food is good the home is always clean which is great. If I have any concerns I know I can speak to the management and they will sort it.

A big thank you to all at Cross Way House, I was devastated when my husband had to go into care after being married for 54 years and caring for him for 15 years with dementia. We both found it very difficult but the wonderful manager and staff have worked so hard to help us to settle in. They have made
my husband very welcome, happy and have been very supportive and caring to us both. A great atmosphere with lots of music. Also, my husband received excellent care when he was taken ill with flu.

My mother is very well fed and cared for. Carers are very kind and responsive to mum's needs. The home is very clean and friendly. Manager very pleasant and professional. Overall a very well run, compassionate care home. It's a relief for the family to know mum is getting the best treatment available.

I cannot praise the home highly enough and we were very lucky the day we found Cross Way House for our mum.


All the staff from the manager down are kind, caring, approachable and respectful to the residents and visitors.


Mum is very happy and really enjoys the company of the other residents. Mum

especially loves all the activities that are laid on by the staff and the home cooked food.


They have a lovely day room that leads out to a sunny courtyard seating area with hanging baskets and flowers. It was nice to sit outside when visiting mum in the summer and chat about the nice flowers and tomato plants. We always feel welcome to visit and always get offered tea.


Mum has a lovely sunny room with shelves and plenty of storage with her own pictures on the wall. All areas are clean and tidy with nice decoration and recently fitted new flooring.


The family are always kept up to date with any changes or issues that may arise.


The manager and her team do a brilliant job. Thank you.

My mother went to live at Cross Way House in May. We have had nothing but kindness from the staff, she is extremely happy and loves the carers. I find the staff very welcoming, no matter when you turn up. My mother likes the food, as her waistline proves. Everywhere is very clean. Her room is very
homely. Not much more to say now, just very glad she there.

My sister has been a resident since May 2017 in Crossways Care home, Havant.
In that time I have always found the premises clean, homely and the staff very welcoming. I try to visit 2 to 3 times a week on a regular basis.


The staff, from management downwards have always been extremely helpful and

informative about the care provided to my sister. I have observed the staff be kind, caring and considerate, not only to the residents but also to those who visit.


I hold the management and staff in high esteem and have no hesitation in recommending Crossways Care Home to those looking for a clean, well run and most of all caring home to anyone looking for a care home.

I have been very impressed with the standard of care, the concern for individual needs and personal characteristics, and the range and frequency of activities which offer stimulation and interaction. The rooms are spacious and my mother's room is light and airy. The staff are hard working and fully
involved. The day and dining rooms are good, and the corridors sensibly wide. Most importantly, my mother is happy there.

I am the registered manager at Crossway House. I hold a Level 5 qualification in health and social care, leadership and management. I have been the manager at Crossway House for over 7 years. I have worked in health and social care for over 24 years, achieving my first managerial post in 2014. I have successfully run a number of care homes within my career with experience in both caring for the elderly and learning disabilities. I pride myself on delivering and providing the highest standards of care; I drive change and promote a positive culture within the service. I have an open-door policy; residents, staff and families are always welcome to see me. I am most proud of developing the staff team to be able to improve the home CQC rating from inadequate to now having a rating of good. I have built a good reputation and working relationships with outside health professionals.
