Deciding that a care home is needed for mum was a very difficult choice. We visited several in the area. Bridge House made the choice easy. The love, support and care was the best we could hope for. At all times they listened to our comments and did their best to accommodate. Christmas was so lovely.
We have fond memories of the last few weeks of mum's life. She was treated with dignity and care.

Mum has been a resident at Bridge House for 6 and a half months. She has advanced dementia. Care and consideration for mum has been excellent. We could not ask for more. All staff and management are very friendly and will help in any way possible. Lots of activities take place daily. All food is freshly
prepared and of excellent quality. Support for families is also excellent. We really are happy with all aspects of Bridge House. A really lucky find for us all.

Within a fifty mile radius Bridge House was the best home and we have not been disappointed coming here smoothly was achieved and has empowered my friend to be herself again. She is very happy, occupied well groomed and smiling all the time. We are able to relax and enjoy being with her again.

Coming to Bridge House has given me a new lease of life! I was nervous about it to start with but I'm so glad now that I've made the move. Bridge House provides the companionship I lacked and offers so much more than I expected. There is so much laid on for the residents. There's a wonderful bistro,
health club and spa, a cinema, a gym - which I use everyday - a library, a bar, organised outings and lots and lots more. With all the home comforts that Bridge House offers, it really is the wonderful staff who make all the difference. So warm and friendly and made me feel comfortable and at "home" within a matter of days.

Marta

Marta Leszko

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2022

Marta has been part of the Carebase family since 2015 and, as a registered nurse and trained Dementia specialist, she has extensive elderly care experience.


Marta spent an earlier part of her career as Deputy Manager at Bridge House, before returning as Home Manager in 2022. She holds a master’s degree and Leadership and Management qualifications.


Marta is passionate about enabling our wonderful residents to live life to the fullest and providing expert guidance and support to families.


Speaking about her role at Bridge House, Marta said: “Nothing beats seeing residents smile, knowing they are happy and fulfilled. I’m proud to support and develop our wonderful team to deliver excellent care.”


In her spare time, Marta enjoys keeping active by cycling and doing Pilates. She also enjoys travelling and likes to relax by going to the cinema and spending time with friends.

Anita

Anita Radecka

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2016

Anita has been part of our Bridge House family since 2016. From a young age, Anita knew her future was in the care sector when she completed work experience in a hospice and found herself staying late and returning every weekend to spend time with patients. She loved being able to make a positive difference in people’s lives and that passion has definitely transferred to our residents, families and team at Bridge House. And, with extensive care experience including roles as carer, senior carer, head of care, care services manager, and deputy manager, she was our perfect choice for acting home manager.


Speaking about her position at Bridge House, Anita said: “I love how every day is different and that every day you have the opportunity to make someone smile, to make their day better and to have a positive difference – it’s really rewarding. I’m also proud to support and develop our amazing Bridge House team – they truly are exceptional.”


In her spare time, Anita enjoys spending time with her family; her husband Leion and little boy Isaac as well as enjoying a good movie and nice ice cream!
