Delighted with the large and varied activities. My granny is always asked if she wants to participate and asked what other activities she would like to do. Domestic staff always very attentive. The room is always spotless and staff enjoy conversation with her as they work and granny looks forward to
this. Care staff and nursing staff always ready to help and one step ahead. I have no concerns with my granny's stay and care. Manager and team at front in offices are very welcoming and happy to answer questions when they arise.

My mother-in-law has been a resident in Carrickfergus Manor since February 2017 and having had no dealings or experience of care homes I did not know what to expect. I have been so pleased and totally re-assured of the excellent care and support my mother-in-law has receiv4ed and also the dignity in
which she is treated. The staff are totally amazing and are extremely dedicated which is apparent at the level of care provided.
The facilities within the home are wonderful and kept to a very high standard. I would recommend this care home 100%

My brother has received the best possible care he could get from all the staff. When he is off his food, the kitchen will make him something special to encourage him to eat. The staff try to encourage him in the activities but he isn't really interested.

The staff at Carrickfergus Manor are excellent, friendly and very helpful keeping me informed on my fathers day to day care. I would strongly recommend this home which has excellent facilities and design. However, it is the staff that make it!

My mother has been in Carrick Manor from February 2017 and at all times, I have found the management and staff to be courteous and compassionate in my mums care. They treat her in the most dignified and caring manner and are always there to answer our questions. Staff are also very pleasant and it's
a pleasure to see our mum so happy and content. She feels very safe and the 24-hour care is first class.

My father has settled well. I find most staff very helpful and attentive. My father is mostly very tidy and clean although things like his glasses an shoes/slippers do go missing. Not the staff's fault and they do their best to amend things. I have a good rapport with most of the staff. My mother was
also in Carrickfergus Manor for 16 months and felt the same as above applied, staff work very hard and mostly very pleasant.

My mother has now been in this care home for over three years.
The staff here are very attentive and professional. The nurses here are also excellent and my mother's palliative care is excellent.
It is great having the hairdresser in every Wednesday. The ladies doing the activities are wonderful
and bring a great need of stimulus to the residents.
The staff are great, raising money for charity and days out for the residents.
I cannot complain about any of the staff that work here.

I am happy with the care my mother is receiving. She seems very content and happy which puts our own mind at ease to know that she is content in herself. We find the staff very caring and attentive. We live overseas and have been able to visit my mother-in-law for the last 10 days. My first and lasting impression of Carrickfergus Manor was of a cheerful, friendly atmosphere, with very attentive and caring staff. They have gone out of their way to help us, as our visit was so short. Twice, they
helped us to set up a face-time session with grandchildren and great grandchildren in New Zealand. Amazing!


Full marks to all the staff. Even the corridors, with relevant pictures, are of interest to my 93 year old mother-in-law. Cheers!

The family were very happy with the care and attention given to their relative.
We were especially happy with the nursing care given in the last few weeks and also the care and thoughtfulness to the family.
