Just wanted to say thank you for a thoughtful and proactive welcome from a member of staff on duty this afternoon (30/05/22). She checked that our family member resident was prepared for us to enter the room, moved the safety mattress, found a vase for the flowers, updated us about an ongoing health
issue, and after we left went back to help with a cup of coffee. All cheerfully and efficiently done. Great to be able to come and visit again. Thank you.

Since moving my Mum into Hinckley House Care Home in February 2019, I have had complete peace of mind. All of the staff have shown a very high level of care towards my Mum and work hard to help her in every way they can. As I live overseas, I don’t get to visit her as often as I would like, but the
management team have done everything to make my visits as easy and smooth as possible. I would highly recommend this home to any of my friends with elderly parents needing care.

My mum has been a resident in Hinckley House Care Home for approximately 6 months now and during that time I have found :
The staff to be extremely helpful and caring.
The food to be excellent (according to my mum).
The activity program to be ideal for enticing for more mature people.
The professionalism
of the staff to be excellent.
A friendly face on the reception every time I visit. I am always made to feel welcome and the reception staff are always very helpful.

My mother has been a resident here for nearly two years and has always received the best care. All the staff are highly professional, willing and provide exceptional care and support. The facilities are excellent and their handling of the COVID restrictions had been amazing sticking a balance between
the needs of visitors and keeping residents safe.

Due to my Mum entering hospital for a second time in six weeks, she became very frail and unable to return home. At very short notice a place had to be arranged for her to be discharged from hospital to a care home. Hinckley House had been recommended to me, I contacted the manager, who reassured me
and guided me through the process. Mum went into Hinckley House a few days before Christmas. Due to COVID, this was (and still is) a very difficult time as I wasn't able to see my Mum and explain what was going to happen, nor was I able to look round Hinckley House beforehand. I was obviously worried but I have found all the staff helpful, supportive, caring and professional. They booked a Skype call for both Christmas and New Years Day and are always happy to take my phone calls enquiring about my Mum. I can't thank them enough for the care and support that they are giving to my Mum in what are also difficult times for them.

My father-in-law went onto Hinckley House for a month's respite in February 2020.
The accommodation and staff are first-class. My father-in-law never returned home after his month's stay as he enjoyed his time in Hinckley House so much he became a full-time resident.

Mum has been in Hinckley House Care Home since March 2020, this being particularly strange times for everyone going into lockdown. Mum has advanced dementia and so it must have been difficult for her getting to know new staff and surroundings, with no family visits. We as a family knew from our tour
around the care home that this was the right setting for Mum, spacious, spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and equipped bedrooms, modern ensuite bathrooms and comfortable lounges. The menu had great variety and delicious cakes/desserts, which always brings a smile to Mum's face. All staff have been fantastic, caring, supportive, friendly, professional, nothing has been too much trouble. I was never once made to feel it was a problem to ring to check how Mum was, how she was settling in etc. They have made Skype calls possible, garden visits etc. We are so grateful to them all, for the love, support and hard work they provide to both Mum and ourselves.

It was a difficult decision to move my father-in-law from his family home into care but we definitely made the right choice of home. He has settled in well and has not lost his sense of humour or cheeky ways. He is very content to be there and enjoys the banter with all the extremely friendly, helpful
and professional staff. Most importantly we know he is always safe and well looked after. We could not ask for better care. Thank you to everyone involved.

My mum has been a resident at Hinckley House for four years, moving in, in June 2016.
Mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and Dad was extremely physically poorly so life at home was becoming extremely challenging.
Hinckley House gave them a new chapter in their lives in which they could live
safely, their differing health needs could be met and as these needs changed so the help that was needed also changed.
But another important change was the social life now available too. Suddenly Mum was having her hair done weekly, attending sing-a-longs, going to church services as well as many craft activities. All this was available in Hinckley House.
Life has been very difficult for everyone recently and although I have been unable to visit, I have taken great comfort knowing that the staff have become extended family and have also provided the emotional support that I have been unable to give.

I cannot fault the care that my Mum is receiving. All of the staff go above and beyond to ensure that the residents are treated with respect, receive the best care and are kept entertained. The Carers are proactive with any health issues ensuring that treatment is received promptly. The Hinckley House
staff give family members peace of mind that their loved ones are in good and caring hands and make sure that the residents feel valued.

I worked for a long time in the community with visits to all the local homes and I didn’t find one as good as Hinckley House, from the warm welcome from all the staff, to the spotless cleanliness of the home.
I would also like to say a massive thank you to all the staff for putting their own health
and that of their families to care for our families during the Covid-19 outbreak. Without your selflessness, I don’t know what we as relatives would do. You're all amazing and I am so very grateful to each and every one of you.

I have been at Hinckley House since February 2017. I have found all of the staff to be kind, friendly and professional. They also have a good sense of humour. There is a good choice of food, and the rooms are cleaned daily. I feel very safe and well cared for.

The overall care home is excellent in every way.
Staff are efficient, very friendly, kind and understanding, not only to residents but they take time to ensure family members and visitors are reassured and are given a lot of understanding and support. The home is clean and run very efficiently.

My family and I always find the reception area welcoming with a nice smile and a friendly greeting from the receptionist. We find everywhere is nice and clean with pleasant wide blue carpeted corridors generating a warm feeling. All the staff are always friendly, helpful and smiling, nothing is too
