The overall care home is excellent in every way.
Staff are efficient, very friendly, kind and understanding, not only to residents but they take time to ensure family members and visitors are reassured and are given a lot of understanding and support. The home is clean and run very efficiently.

The reception, management and admission are well informed and able to answer all questions and any concerns.

My family and I always find the reception area welcoming with a nice smile and a friendly greeting from the receptionist. We find everywhere is nice and clean with pleasant wide blue carpeted corridors generating a warm feeling. All the staff are always friendly, helpful and smiling, nothing is too much trouble.

Our friend has been a resident since this care home opened, during which time she has been treated with the utmost care and dignity. In general, the staff are excellent and in five years we have had no major complaints.

This home has provided a safe and caring environment for my stepmother. She is as happy as possible with the home and there is no doubt that she is at home here.

My mum has only been in for one month, and at an age of 96, this was a big change for her. The staff have been excellent in helping her to adapt. The food and surroundings are excellent, which also helped with the transition.

Mum was admitted to the home in November 2017. I was most impressed with the ensuite rooms and the general cleanliness of the whole home.
Mum has some challenging behaviours but the carers are always cheerful, helpful and very professional when dealing with Mum and also myself if I have any questions.

I feel she is safe and cared for and I also have peace of mind that she is in a good place.

I have visited many care homes over the years and this is the best. If in the future, I need to go into one, I would be happy to go there.

I have very good care at Hinckley House. Things to me seem good. It is my home now so I hope it will stay that way, I feel better now, food is good too. I am happy with the overall care.

We moved Mum to Hinckley House following a bad experience at another home. I can't praise highly enough the quality of care here; the caring environment and the positive attitude and kindness of all the staff. Mum is now very settled and happily joins in the activities, as do I when I visit! The managers are always accessible to talk to and there are regular care reviews which we had never had before. It's a great home and I can't thank you enough for what you've done for our family.

My mum went into Hinckley House at the beginning of February 2015 and has been more than well looked after. I would recommend this care home to anyone, they really care for you at all times. My mum passed away on Saturday 8th August 2017 but there was always a carer with her if I wasn't there and if I was there, they would get on with other jobs and come back when I told them I was leaving. There is not a better one than this home where we live.

My Mum's care has been excellent after moving her from another Avery home in Staffordshire in July this year. The staff have welcomed Mum from the start, got to know her quirks and are working within those boundaries! Mum has had two episodes of failing health and the staff have been excellent in responding, ensuring her safety and hospitalisation as well as her return to the home. The staff work hard to entice Mum to eat and action any issues. Mum is treated with dignity and respect as well as humour which she loves.

I have been impressed with the care and support provided for my father since he came to the home in Feb 2017 following the death of my mother. The staff have helped him to adjust well and nothing appears too much trouble.
The rooms and choice/standard of food are very good. There appear to be lots of activities for residents but my father is pleased to still be able to attend stroke and help the aged club members as well as football matches.

He feels safe and content.

At this stage of our life, my wife and I have had many friends and relations in various homes and residences in and around this area. We are very impressed with this home and consider it to be perhaps the best of the ones we have visited. The layout and general attention is excellent, the attention and care our friends receive is very good whilst the reception and friendly greeting we get from staff during our visits cannot be faltered.

My aunt has been a permanent resident for almost five weeks having received respite care once or twice before. She speaks well of the care she receives and the quality and variety of food. There has been a welcoming, calm and relaxed atmosphere when I have visited. The home is clean, fresh, bright and very well presented, the facilities are excellent. There appears to be a lively programme of activities although my aunt complains of long, lonely evenings after the other residents have retired to their rooms. The staff are very pleasant and always look smart.

I feel I have settled in well. Although I do have moments when I wish I was at home, but I know this is impossible due to my lack of mobility. I find the staff very friendly, capable and helpful (apart from some members of agency staff).
