Beaufort Grange is a luxurious 74 bedded care home situated in Cheswick Village in Filton. The home accommodates those who require nursing and residential care, and also offers support for those living with dementia in its specialist Memory Lane community.

Cheswick Village is located close to local amenities and the local community, which is perfect for those who wish to keep their independence in everyday living.

The highly dedicated team at Beaufort Grange are committed to delivering the highest standards of care. There is a 24 hour nursing team to support the residents in every way possible, and the home has a visiting GP and chiropodist, along with on-site hairdressers who are always willing to accommodate for the less mobile residents.

Beaufort Grange is furnished and decorated to an extremely high standard with landscaped gardens that are perfect for taking a stroll or enjoying outdoor activities in.

The activities team arrange engaging social programmes that are designed to stimulate and entertain each individual, and consist of regular reminiscence sessions, music therapy, art classes, film afternoons, quizzes, cheese and wine afternoons, outings on their minibus, and much more.

I can confidently say any ideas that I had of a carehome being sad and dreary have been replaced with this vision of caring, diverse and inclusive community atmosphere that provides quality care to residents. All staff are kind and respectful whilst the residents are in good hands. Clean and smell nice
everywhere.

My father has been in the care home for nearly 3 years now and he is well looked after. There are many activities arranged to occupy the residents and he is very happy there. The staff are excellent and very caring.

Beaufort Grange is a loving and caring home. You feel the friendliness as soon as you enter. Staff are respectful and go out of their way to make sure all your needs are met. Nothing is too much trouble. Any information regarding facilities e.g hairdresser. Also pictures of staff who now have awards
for carer of the month are found within entrance. Weekly pets are also here also activity sheets for residents and dates of outings, finally after seeing several other homes in the area would not want to live anywhere else.

Mum is happy in the home and is well cared for. She enjoys most of the activities provided, but occasionally says she feels bored.

I spent 3 weeks at Beaufort Grange following major surgery on my ankle.
I was impressed with the level of welcome from the first time I met some of the staff on a visit earlier in the year.
I was so well looked after by every member of staff. The rooms are attractive and the whole building has more
of the quality of a hotel rather than a hospital as well. Having said that it has a homely feel to it.
I am very grateful to everyone for caring for me so well and giving me the confidence to get back on my feet.
I shall recommend you to all my friends.

My Dad has been with Beaufort since Nov 2023 and like all relatives you feel apprehension, anxiety, sadness and all kinds of emotions when making the decision to go this route. Beaufort from the moment those sliding doors opened Dad was treated like a long lost friend. The home seems more like a hotel
with a small little bistro inside, coffee, tea chocolate on tap and freshly baked cakes for you to help yourself. The staff are all happy, smiles and good mornings the norm. My Dad has entrenched himself in, is really content, the meds having been completely sorted now he's under their GP and they really care and understand about dementia. There is a particular lady on my Dads floor who is absolutely wonderful, helpful, caring and she always seems to be there (don't know when she sleeps!), my Dad gives her winks and knows she's good and not a threat (dementia trait) what she and all the others do is hard work, stuff a lot of us would not do. Thank you Brilliant Beaufort.

I cannot imagine another nursing home coming, even close to what Barchester Beaufort Grange offers. As a retired nurse, I am very particular in the standards I expect in the care of my husband with my husband with dementia and Parkinson's. It's like being on a cruise ship with amazing food and daily
entertainment with the highest standards of nursing care, compassion, kindness, dignity for my husband. He is so well cared for with very high needs and is thriving. I cannot thank the staff enough!

Mum has been in Beaufort Grange for respite care. We have been very happy with the care given and Mum has participated in the many activities which she has thoroughly enjoyed. All the staff have been very kind and welcoming. It's a real home from home.

Mum joined Barchester Beaufort Grange in June 2024 and although she was only there a couple of months, she never needed for anything. The staff, support staff, carers, nurses and management were friendly and always went the extra mile to ensure Mum and our family were looked after. Mum, during her stay,
was encouraged to take part in activities and joined a lovely friend network. Beaufort Grange was fantastic in her last week of life. Thank you for all your support Beaufort Grange.

My father-in-law needed to go into a care home that also catered for dementia. We looked at a couple and from the first moment stepping into Barchester Beaufort Grange, we were welcoming, we were shown around and nothing was too much trouble. My husband and I had decided on the journey back home that
this was the right care home for my father-in-law. My father-in-law is still settling in but he seems happy. We loved the fact that he is on level 1 memory lane which is so much better than dementia level. All the staff are friendly, they also pop their heads in to speak. We get phone calls on any care that is happening or changing. It's bright and clean always. Highly recommend and we are making friends along the way.

I visit one of the residents at Barchester Beaufort Grange. (I am an ex-carer myself).
I have always found the staff very polite. The rooms are very airy and kept very clean. There is a weekly programme of activities which the residents can choose to do if they wish.
When visiting, you can make yourself
a drink or have a cake and cookie if you wish.
I would not hesitate to put a relative or friend in this lovely home.

I have been a registered nurse since 1997, completing my nurse training at the Fr. Muller’s Hospital, Mangalore - India. After my graduation, I worked in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 7 years. I have extensive experience in both hospitals and care home settings. I moved to the UK in 2004 and have worked in care homes across the South West.


I always strive for excellence. I believe in an open-door policy, and I am an advocate for the basic principles of care, respect, dignity, privacy and choice.  I enjoy challenges and endeavour to improve the quality of the service we provide for those people we support. I have a very good relationship with both staff, families and local healthcare professionals.

Before moving to the UK, I worked in a private hospital as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse for two years in Saudi Arabia; after that, I transferred to a prestigious University Hospital working on a surgical ward.


For me, nursing is dynamic, so I decided to change to a community care setting, providing care to older adults who needed help and support in their day-to-day lives. I joined Beaufort Grange as a registered nurse in 2021, I am very thankful and blessed to be part of a caring and reputable home and company.

Hello, my name is Abiola Ajayi. I started work as a nurse at Beaufort Grange in 2022. I have been a nurse since 2014. I graduated from the Osogbo School of Nursing where I obtained my diploma in nursing after which I proceeded to Ladoke University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Nigeria where I was awarded a Bachelor of Nursing Science in 2019.
