Beaufort Grange is a luxurious 74 bedded care home situated in Cheswick Village in Filton. The home accommodates those who require nursing and residential care, and also offers support for those living with dementia in its specialist Memory Lane community.

Cheswick Village is located close to local amenities and the local community, which is perfect for those who wish to keep their independence in everyday living.

The highly dedicated team at Beaufort Grange are committed to delivering the highest standards of care. There is a 24 hour nursing team to support the residents in every way possible, and the home has a visiting GP and chiropodist, along with on-site hairdressers who are always willing to accommodate for the less mobile residents.

Beaufort Grange is furnished and decorated to an extremely high standard with landscaped gardens that are perfect for taking a stroll or enjoying outdoor activities in.

The activities team arrange engaging social programmes that are designed to stimulate and entertain each individual, and consist of regular reminiscence sessions, music therapy, art classes, film afternoons, quizzes, cheese and wine afternoons, outings on their minibus, and much more.

I cannot recommend this care home highly enough as all the staff are so professional and very caring. I am proud to have them looking after my mum as she could not get any better care, even if she was still living at home. The rapport she has with all the staff is amazing and due to these unprecedented
times, I cannot thank them all enough. They have kept me informed on Mum’s health and being able to skype has been a brilliant solution, especially not being able to visit her in this situation. The home is spotless and the food is especially good - compliments to all the chefs - they do really work hard there.

Dad broke his hip and due to other neuro/dementia issues was unable to come home. We looked at a number of care homes and Beaufort Grange really stood out. Modern, friendly, bright and more like a hotel. Staff are excellent but a little overworked. If there were more staff I think residents could be
encouraged to become more involved in activities. Other than that, excellent facility and would highly recommend.

Dad's only been here for 3 weeks but all the staff seem very nice and caring.
The surroundings couldn't be better. Rooms are nice and plenty of room.

Beaufort Grange was selected for my mother-in-law by myself and her two daughters when she was discharged from hospital. We chose the home as it was bright, clean and friendly and had the facilities required. It was very local for me and my wife and only a 10-15 minute journey for my sister-in-law.
We couldn't have chosen a better nursing home.

Beaufort Grange has a very happy atmosphere and is well maintained.
The staff are all very caring and work extremely hard to achieve a level of excellence but I do feel that at certain times (ie meal times) the care team are understaffed. The activities team are superb and provide great entertainment
for residents and their families. The team leader is great and effective.

Mum died in February age 97, she had been a resident here for 5 and a half years and really enjoyed it. Her family enjoyed visiting her as the care home was so welcoming. I continue to visit when I can. The change of management appears to be very good - the staff seem to be more content and relaxed.

My main criteria for picking Beaufort Grange was to ensure that my father was safe and happy in his "new home". I have not been disappointed and I have felt that over the last two months there has been even further improvements in my father's welfare and care at Beaufort Grange.

staff have high standards and in my opinion, these have risen over the last two months. This has put my mind at ease as he is enjoying his new surroundings.

The room was spacious, well fitted out and quiet. The bathroom needed a small cabinet, free-standing, to hold my toiletries as I am unable to reach a wall cabinet. I also needed a bathroom stool. Both were provided immediately as was a footstool.
The staff made sure that I was comfortable before I
settled in. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, I cannot fault them. Food - plenty of it and a good choice.

Dad has settled well into Beaufort Grange. He has a lovely ground floor room. He is happy and content. Staff are friendly and helpful. Dad joins in some of the activities, the quizzes and songs of praise afternoons. I have been made to feel welcome and can visit Dad at any time. Dad has a very limited
diet so I cannot comment on the food but the menus look good.

The service in Beaufort Grange is extremely good. Staff are always helpful and willing to provide support. The bedrooms are spacious with adjoining bathrooms. Meals are adequate (most residents would have fairly small appetites). Rooms are well furnished and refreshments are easily available. TV in
all individual rooms. The whole atmosphere is pleasant and staff are invariably willing to help. Individual needs are met without question.

I have been a registered nurse since 1997, completing my nurse training at the Fr. Muller’s Hospital, Mangalore - India. After my graduation, I worked in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 7 years. I have extensive experience in both hospitals and care home settings. I moved to the UK in 2004 and have worked in care homes across the South West.


I always strive for excellence. I believe in an open-door policy, and I am an advocate for the basic principles of care, respect, dignity, privacy and choice.  I enjoy challenges and endeavour to improve the quality of the service we provide for those people we support. at Kubwa General Hospital in Abuja. While working at these various locations, I have had the privilege to work in Accident and Emergency, Adult and Paediatric wards. The adult ward is where I cut my teeth as a nursing staff and spent most of my professional years.


I believe that the job of a nurse goes beyond being a profession. It is a call to something much bigger than you, consequently, I endeavour to treat everyone who
comes into my care with respect, care and kindness. Hard work and compassion are also fulcrums of my professional engagements with anyone I meet along my Professional interactions.

Hello, I'm Peter. I've been a nurse for over 14 years. I'm a registered nurse with certification in public health and occupational health nursing.


Right from childhood, I've been so fascinated with caring for the human body. This fascination led me to study nursing, and through that, I developed compassion for human care and the art of nursing generally.


Prior to my move to the United Kingdom, I worked in different departments of hospitals in southern Nigeria. I worked as an occupational health Nurse in different field locations such as seismic, offshore, and oil rigs.


My background in public health and occupational health nursing, which is geared towards disease prevention, work safety, accidents, and incident management at the workplace, helps my performance as a nurse in this Beaufort Grange care home.


Personally, nursing affords me the opportunity to touch human lives, and doing this gives me so much satisfaction.
