I am confident that my husband is well looked after. He is well fed, his care needs are attended to extremely well. As he doesn't participate in activities, it would be good for him to be "taken" outside for fresh air and encouraged to participate.
Activities for male residents could be more varied.

My mam is really happy here, she's been here 6 months. They have great carers and the food is lovely, they have loads of entertainment on for all occasions. They all get dressed up for Christmas and Halloween and so do the relatives. It's really like one big happy family.

This is a 5 star accommodation and care at all times. All staff are caring and nothing is a bother. If a resident needs anything at all to help them be comfortable, the management and staff make it happen. If you want a loved one looked after as well as you do then Ashton Court is the place!

I am extremely pleased with the care my mother-in-law has received since moving into Ashton Court. She has only been a resident for 3 weeks but she has settled in so well, this is due to the management and staff being so considerate and caring, her appetite has improved immensely due to the lovely freshly
cooked meals.
The care home is very welcoming and there is always a lovely atmosphere when visiting, the staff always keep us up to date with her situation. My mother-in-law's personal hygiene has improved greatly, she is always bathed, hair washed and in freshly washed clothes, her room is always clean and smells nice and fresh, the bathroom is immaculate.
I genuinely feel she is happy and content as she has started to communicate a lot more and started to laugh and smile again.

Whenever we visit the staff are always very friendly. The home is always clean and tidy. Our relative is comfortable and well looked after. We are fortunate to have found such a nice place.

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2018

I have worked in care for 26 years, the last fourteen as a Home Manager. I have been the Home Manager of Ashton Court since July 2018 and we have an excellent team.


My focus is to provide a homely atmosphere for our residents with a person-centred approach to maintaining our resident’s general well-being.
