Mum has settled well and appears happy and content. As a family, we can relax knowing that she is being very well looked after. Aspen Manor is very bright, clean, hotel standard, modern, and a pleasant environment for the residents and their families when they visit, they even have a play area for the kids!
Thank you so very much for your review and your lovely kind words.
I was also greatly touched to see the staff treating everyone with dignity. This extends out to the families. Navigating finding the right care for a loved one is distressing, and they worked with us with such empathy, they made a stressful and unsettling time much easier. Any issues are dealt with instantly and with sensitivity and thoroughness.
My own personal highlight was having a member of staff take time out of her day to locate some dairy-free milk so I could have a cuppa with my mother-in-law without triggering my allergies. Such small acts of kindness are invaluable.
Thank you so very much for your review, it is really appreciated.
Aspen Manor is a bright, modern care home with various areas for residents and visitors to enjoy. The bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily and residents become part of a caring, well-run community. The staff on reception understand the needs of the residents and cater accordingly. By 5pm the "front of house" staff finish and the evening staff have less knowledge of needs.
Thank you for your review. Please do not hesitate to request a review of your loved one's care if there is anything you wish to discuss. We are always available.
All staff helpful, friendly and caring, rooms very comfortable, and as much like home as it is possible to be. Activities available for those who want them. Food very well cooked. In fact a very safe place for anyone who is no longer as mobile as normal.
Thank you for your support of our lovely home and team. We are all looking forward to you returning to us on a long-term basis.
My wife was admitted for 1 week of respite care for her Alzheimer’s condition. This was the first time she has been at a care home. From her initial admission up until me picking her up 7 days later, she has received excellent care and support. The carers even managed to get her to mix with the other residents during meal times. My wife has not wanted to mix with strangers for some months now. The home is modern and spotlessly clean. All of the staff I met or spoke to on the phone were friendly, professional and were able to answer all questions. I will happily use this home again when she next has a period or respite.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your review. We will be more than happy to care for your wife again when you need us.
The care, the nursing, the food, and the welcome for visitors were outstanding. He was included in the activities at all times and we are so grateful.
Thank you for your kind review. We're so happy things went as well as we all hope they will at such an important time of a family's journey. Your help, helped us to deliver the care your Dad required. The more we're all on the same page the better. Proof of perfect partnerships.
February was the last month of my husband's stay (a year) as he passed away on the 23rd of February. During his last month, he was looked after and cared for extremely well. He was kept clean and comfortable and all his needs were well catered for. The care and consideration given to myself and his family was also excellent. His whole stay at Aspen Manor made his last year as good as it possibly could be and his ongoing health problems were handled with care and compassion.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. Your thanks and appreciation of our amazing team will be shared and very welcomed. Especially after your family's journey. Sending our very best regards.
My father-in-law was suffering with Parkinson's and dementia when he came into Aspen Manor Care Home so he needed a lot of care. He certainly got all that and more from the caring staff. When he got so poorly and it looked like he may have to go into hospital, his wife, of sixty-plus-years, pleaded with the staff to keep him in Aspen Manor because that's how highly she thought of the place. They did exactly that and he passed away peacefully there.
Thank you for your lovely review, from all the Aspen Manor team.
The care my grandad received from the team at Aspen Manor was exceptional. All of the staff went above and beyond to make it his second home, and to make us feel welcome. Everyone who cared for Grandad was so personable and their caring, lovely nature really shone. In an incredibly difficult time, it was made easier by knowing he was receiving first-class care. A beautiful home with an outstanding team.
Thank you so very much for your review and your lovely kind words.
My grandad came into your care at the start of his deterioration and the level of care during each stage was always excellent. He was accompanied to my wedding with one of the carers who took great care of him. The staff always treated him with such dignity which was one of our initial concerns having him in care. We are very appreciative of how you all looked after him and truly cared. Thank you.
Thank you so very much for your wonderful review, it is highly appreciated.
I can't rate Aspen Manor highly enough. My dad spent 2 months there and the care he was given was amazing, the carers went above and beyond to look after him, we went in every day to see Dad and not once did we find anyone unhelpful. They were all so kind. In my opinion, you'd struggle to find better.
Thank you so very much from all the Aspen Manor Team for your lovely review.
There were four main positives, the fact my Mum did not have a fall in the 3 months she was there and secondly 2 staff members were very kind towards Mum, the hairdresser was kind and the food was good.
My mum came to Aspen Manor for four weeks of respite care and she wasn't sure at first but came to like it. The staff were lovely and very caring, she came home a new person much more like her old self. Her mobility was much improved due to the staff encouraging and motivating her to be more independent. We will definitely return if she should need respite or more permanent care. I would definitely recommend Aspen Manor. We particularly enjoyed having coffee together in the bistro area.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so pleased that your mum enjoyed her stay and look forward to seeing you all again in the future.
I came into Aspen Manor when in need of urgent care after an infection, instead of planned respite two weeks later. We very much appreciated the flexibility and understanding shown. Everybody is willing to accommodate our requests. We would have liked staff to undertake walking assistance as requested by the physio. Each time we had to remind them several times and sometimes it was done around 10pm or not at all. It was suggested that we should send a photo of the socks (as we couldn't mark them) but we have still not received two pairs of socks that were laundered, one all royal blue and one with coloured dots on a dark background. Skin lotion also missing.
Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that following your urgent admission, you recovered fully and were able to return home. It shows the outstanding care provided by our staff. We are sorry to hear about the two pairs of missing socks and the skin lotion. We have arranged for new ones to be...
Aspen Manor has a great staff of professional caring people that work together and deal with all the issues to manage the best quality of life - elderly or adult needing care. The staff are really great, very responsive to feedback and family input is integral to the care package. I feel very fortunate to have Aspen Manor to be available and provide much-needed residential care at a critical time for our family.
Thank you for your review, we will continue to strive not only to support our residents but also be a support network for their families.
I visited my neighbour who was on short stay at Aspen Manor. They were very accommodating and having a Christmas Party which I was invited to partake in. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
Thank you for your kind comments and we look forward to seeing you again when you visit Aspen Manor.
This is an excellent care home. I could not be more contented, given the fact that my husband died after a long illness in June, the kindness shown to me has been and is exemplary. Full marks all round, visitors and family are always welcomed. It is a happy place.
Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to provide us with a review. It was a pleasure to care for your husband and it continues to be a pleasure to care for yourself. Best wishes.
My father was in Aspen Manor for just under 4 weeks before he sadly passed away. Because of the care of the wonderful staff, it gave us some quality time with my father which we will be forever grateful for. The minute you walk in the door you are engulfed with the same love and compassion all the staff give your loved ones. The atmosphere at Aspen Manor is one of family and your family becomes their family. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Dear Sarah, thank you for your most kind words. It is very much appreciated and I'll share your feedback with the whole team. Wishing you a peaceful festive season. Kindest regards, Sharon.
However, from the moment of arrival, he was warmly welcomed, and the atmosphere of the home was relaxed and very friendly. All his care staff were kind and very caring, as were the house, kitchen, and management staff.
As understanding progressed through his stay, I have become more confident of and look forward to, requesting further respite in the future.
Thank you for your feedback. We will take on board what you have said and improve our service where necessary. We look forward to looking after your husband and welcoming you in the future. Best regards, Sharon.
I arrived with trepidation not knowing what to expect. But everything was first class more like a luxury hotel with excellent care and very friendly.
Thank you for taking the time to give us a fabulous review of our service. I will share your review with the staff and I'm sure they will be thrilled to read it. If you ever feel there is something we could do better, please do not hesitate to let me know. Our aim is to make sure our residents are happy always. Best regards, Sharon
