Thank you so much to the staff at Beaumont Manor for hosting and catering my parent's 60th wedding anniversary celebration. They ensured my dad was up in time and the food was excellent, even a homemade cake! They let me decorate the private dining room the day before and it meant that things went so
smoothly. The staff can't do enough for you and they take really good care of my dad and treat him as a person. I'm so glad he's living there and has more quality of life again.
Reply from Kate Emery, Manager at Beaumont ManorThank you so much for your review. We were delighted to host your parent's special day and so excited seeing their card from King Charles and the Queen Consort. I am so glad you had the best of times. Please do not hesitate if you want to arrange another party. Kind regards.

With thanks to the manager and her great team. A great Mother's Day celebration was enjoyed by residents, families, visitors and also the staff. The singer (now familiar with the home) created a wonderful party atmosphere with willing help from the staff. The time flew by. It was smashing to see so
many happy smiling faces, keep it up.

Took my mother for respite. This was a new experience for us both.
The staff at Beaumont Manor could not have been more reassuring and welcoming. They explained everything to us really clearly. This eased our worries.
On the day of the visit, everything went so well. All the staff were kind, helpful,
friendly and caring. The whole experience was amazing. The home was clean and modern but homely. They took care of mum by bathing and feeding her. I know if she goes back, she will be safe and well looked after. I know I can trust Beaumont Manor to provide excellent care.

My dear mum recently passed away, after having spent the last five years of her life at Beaumont Manor. She loved living there and absolutely adored the staff. The carers, nurses, housekeepers and the manager are all such wonderful, caring people. Who looked after Mum with such dignity and respect,
and I cannot imagine another home that could have done any more for her. I will always have huge respect and love for everyone at Beaumont Manor who did an amazing job of caring for the most special person in my life.
Reply from Kate Emery, Manager at Beaumont ManorWe will always miss your mum, an inspirational lady who will be so sadly missed. Thank you for always being here and supporting our care staff to support your mum. Please keep in touch and please let us know how you are as we will miss you too. Kind regards, Kate.

My cousin was receiving end-of-life care and the staff were so gentle and caring with her, it was a privilege to watch how they work so kindly and efficiently - to be a nurse or carer is these circumstances really is a calling! They also welcomed me as her family member, nothing was too much trouble,
providing a comfy bed, copious teas and coffees and delicious meals - also answered all my questions honestly! I cannot recommend Beaumont Manor Care Home highly enough!

My aunt has been a resident for some years now and has been exceedingly happy and content in her new home. To celebrate her birthday recently, we took advantage of the fine dining room so a number of us could be there with her. As always, the staff couldnt have been more helpful and accommodating. The
net result was yet another fabulous day for my aunt at Beaumont Manor. I cannot think of a better place that she would rather be living, or be cared for so lovingly by all staff at the home.
Reply from Kate Emery, Manager at Beaumont ManorThank you so much for your review. Our fine dining area is such an asset, as we have had so many family reunions in the last 6 months which has been so lovely to see after the previous restrictions that COVID gave us all. We are so glad you had the best of times. Please feel free at any time to book again and we hope to see you all soon.

Mum has been in Beaumont Manor since February 2021. I think every care home has struggled in the Covid era but the new manager has done a fantastic job in working relentlessly to maintain and improve the quality at the home. Mum's south-facing room is lovely overlooking the gardens which are well maintained.
Under the new manager, the quality of consistent care continues to improve with the successful recruitment of permanent staff. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone. Everybody is lovely.

I came together with my late husband in August 2020. He sadly died on June 30th 2021 and due to my own ill health, I decided to remain at Beaumont Manor Care Home where I am now a resident. I have nothing but praise for all members of staff who administer to all my needs day and night with careing,
dignity and kindness.
Therefore my family appreciate the excellent way I am looked after. With grateful thanks.

My mother in law recently went to Beaumont Manor for respite. As a family, we were so happy with the care and kindness that all the staff provided, that it was decided to make it her full time home. The manager has been a fantastic support to us and we cannot praise her enough. The wonderful staff
and the fantastic amenities make this a perfect place for her. She is always happy and dancing. She settled so fast and has made new friends. The staff are so caring and cannot do enough for everyone.

I would like to say a massive thank you to the manager and her wonderful home for the respect for my grandma's funeral send-off ie, the staff seeing my grandma off, who was a resident, plus the wake at the home with the manager and staff popping in to check on us, as a family, and doing a brilliant
job of looking after my auntie and supporting her as she couldn't get to the funeral. The home is brilliant, and I 100-per cent say if you or a relative move in, you won't be disappointed.

My mother has been a resident of Beaumont Manor for over a year, and she was looking forward to our daughter's wedding in May. Unfortunately, three weeks before the wedding, my mother's health deteriorated, and we were unsure whether she would be able to attend. The home manager's positive attitude
and organisation of staff were remarkable. In readiness for the big day, the home staff made sure Mum's hair, nails and outfit were perfect. Then two wonderful members of staff drove Mum for over two hours to the venue. Their support, help and care were much appreciated. In the evening, they drove her back to Beaumont Manor. We could not ask for better care. Thank you for making my mum's dream come true!

I have lived at Beaumont Manor for 14-months, and I can honestly say I love it here. The staff are amazing, so caring. The food is really nice, I am a very picky eater, but I would recommend 9 out of 10 meals. I was chatting to a member of staff about how I would love to go to the cinema, a week later
I was told that I would be taken to see the film. It was amazing.

The care home manager could not have helped us enough when we asked if Beaumont Manor could help us by providing a carer for my mum, who is in a wheelchair so that she could attend her granddaughter's wedding. I really cannot thank the manager and all the team at Beaumont Manor for all their kindness
and support in helping the day happen. Beaumont Manor spoiled mum the morning of the wedding, they did her hair, and nails and dressed her in her wedding outfit. I can only describe mum's carer at the wedding as a total gem. She was so patient, thoughtful and kind. Without the efforts of Beaumont Manor to help us with mum we really wouldn't have been able to manage. The day was amazing and was made all the more special with the presence of our mum, she really did not stop smiling all day, it was fantastic and a lovely day for all the family. Thank you so much.
Reply from Kate Emery, Manager at Beaumont ManorThank you for your review. Our aim is to ensure that our Resident's dreams are met. Covid over the last two years has prevented our residents from enjoying family events, get-togethers and making more memories. My Father has settled really well at Beaumont Manor and the management and the staff have been instrumental in this process. From the moment I arrived with a very frightened, very poorly Father, both of us were made to feel part of the Beaumont Manor family. Amazingly, the staff even remember the visitors'
names and who they are visiting, making the whole process of transitioning into care much more bearable. From the moment you step into the entrance, you are given a warm welcome and it continues through visits both into the residents' lounge, communal areas and the individual bedrooms that are really tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean at all times. The manager and her staff cannot do enough to assist with the visiting experience, making it most enjoyable. Refreshments can be enjoyed in a beautiful setting within Beaumont Manor, either in the resident's rooms or one of the other communal areas. As a family, we could not wish for a more beautiful place for our loved one to reside. Well done!

My Dad is currently a resident in Beaumont Manor, it was only supposed to be a temporary placement but due to a deterioration in his health, he will now remain there permanently. I cannot express how highly I think of the home, the surroundings are very luxurious with lots of facilities but it is the
staff that make the home such a great place. Every member of the team has shown so much compassion to my Dad and treat him with such dignity. The level of care is so high and genuine, the best I have ever witnessed from a residential home. They are very proactive and you can see that the resident's welfare is at the heart of all the decisions made. They have also shown me kindness and consideration beyond the norm, so accommodating in facilitating me being able to spend as much time with my Dad as possible and looking after my well-being too. I will be eternally grateful to each and every one of them for making my Dad and me feel safe, secure and so well cared for during such a sad time.

Current Review Score: 9.4 (9.427)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.4 (9.427) out of 10 for Beaumont Manor is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 17 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 16 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.551 for Beaumont Manor is calculated as follows: ( (134 Excellents x 5) + (38 Goods x 4) + (3 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) + (9 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 185 Ratings = 4.551
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.876 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Beaumont Manor is based on 16 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 82 registered maximum number of service users is 16.4. 16 Positive Reviews ÷ 16.4 = 0.976
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
