Beverley Parklands provides residential and dementia care in separate areas, for permanent, respite and day care. The facilities includes a residents' bar, bistro, terraces and a hair & beauty spa. The gardens include an artificial bowls green and gardening area, including raised beds, greenhouse and shed. These facilities are utilised by visiting friends and families and also within a 7 days a week activity program, run by a dedicated activity team.

Dementia care is delivered in Beverley Parklands' Haven area where residents have the support of a dedicated dementia care team. There are also numerous fake shop fronts across the Home which are used for reminiscence. Bedrooms across the Home are all large, with full ensuites, and there are a number of premium suites for couples or individuals who would like more space.

Due to ill health and dementia, my parents suddenly found themselves in residential care so they could continue being together. They are well looked after in comfortable surroundings who care deeply for them and cannot do enough to help them. They never planned or anticipated being in such a situation
and have found it extremely difficult to adjust to their 'new life' but have found support and encouragement at every corner. The accommodation and facilities are first class and they look forward post covid restrictions to being able to embrace the new surroundings and make new friends.

The staff at Beverley Parklands have gone out of their way to make mum comfortable whilst maintaining her dignity and regularly reassessing her ever-changing needs. The staff have enabled me to visit safely during the pandemic and been nothing but kind and respectful to mum and myself.

My Mum has now been at Beverley Parklands for 12 months and despite this being a difficult and unique period, she has settled in well. The wonderful staff and managers in this home have worked tirelessly during the current pandemic to support the residents in their care. Mum is extremely sociable and
her experience here is enhanced by the fact that staff seem to 'get her'.
They have clearly taken the time to get to know Mum and understand her wants and needs. I have also been impressed that on the odd occasion when there have been some difficulties, Parklands have been open and honest about the situation, advising my sister and I about what has occurred and any resolutions that have been put in place. Mum loves the activities that are on offer.
She also regularly tells me about how nice and spotlessly clean her room is. Thank you, Parklands staff - your efforts, kindness and patience during this incredibly tough year are very much appreciated.

Dad has been in Beverley Parklands since March 2020 which has been such a relief to know he is well cared for particularly in the current situation. Beverley Parklands has been great at caring for Dad and putting things in place to keep him safe. I am regularly kept informed of Dad's care and current
needs. The staff have been so good at dealing with Dad despite all the challenges he has.
Staff are always welcoming and willing to take the time to talk to me and give me support in these difficult times. I was able to visit Dad in the special visiting room and now through video calls which help keep us in touch.

Both my parents needed dementia care within 4 months of each other and for nearly a year they were able to be together in this wonderful, caring environment. They were able to spend most of their time and eat meals together. They were loved and cared for and most importantly, were content to be in what
they thought was an hotel, where ‘everything is free’. That made us laugh but the worry of day to day life was completely lifted from them and that was so important to our family.
My father continues to be looked after at the highest level since my mum sadly passed away early last year. We have been unable to see him properly with the global pandemic taking hold. The management have worked tirelessly to keep our loved ones safe and secure, with regular staff testing, quickly setting up a secure visiting room and garden area for families, regular Skype visits and telephone updates. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you.

Our father has been a resident for over a year and is happy to now call it home, thanks to the wonderful care and attention of all the staff.
Every single person, from day and night carers to kitchen staff and maintenance, has gone over and above all they could do to make him happy and well at all
times and particularly during this time of crisis, when he has also been unwell.
We and he are so very appreciative and for my sister and I, it gives us such peace of mind to know that he is being so well cared for and loved.

My mother was one of the first residents to move into the home in November 2017. She is a very strongwilled and independent 95 year old. Initially, I was concerned about how she would cope with the dramatic transition from her own home environment to that of a more structured regime. I need not have
worried. She (and I) have found every aspect of the home to be well managed, professional, caring and homely in all respects. The current Covid 19 crisis has reinforced my already high regard of the professional and caring approach of staff members at all levels. I am so pleased that my mother is in such a safe, friendly and comfortable environment to see out her twilight years.

I cannot praise this care home and the staff enough. My great aunt was on end of life care when she arrived 18 months ago, not expected to live much longer, but is still enjoying life at Beverley Parklands. All down to the fantastic care she receives. At 96 years old she is still up playing dominoes
and having a glass of wine in the bar with her fellow residents! The Home is beautiful and the staff is so kind and patient. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Don't be fooled by the fantastic facade of this care home. On the surface it's new and it looks better than a 5-star hotel! The reality is not so glossy. When considering this care home for your loved one you need to be aware that they will be asked to leave the minute they become too much hard work
for the staff and have the potential to cause any disruption to the 5* feel of the place. This care home is not in my opinion suitable for the care of Dementia sufferers. My family and I have learnt the hard way to look beyond the facade and find a place which puts the care of its residents first and keeping up appearances second. Based on the care of my mother and the friend of mine who had a relative there I would not consider Beverley Parklands as such a place.
The most expensive is not always the best.

Hi Angus, I am sorry you were left disappointed with the care provided at Beverley Parklands. Healthcare professionals were fully involved in your mums care and they decided that she would be better cared for in a more specialised environment, due to her needs progressing past that of what a residential care home setting could safely care for.
As a company, we care for hundreds of people living with dementia and it is extremely rare for somebody to have to move to a different setting, but this is always done with the advice of professionals, as a last resort, and in that person's best interests. I am proud of the level of care we provide our residents at Beverley Parklands, especially to those living in our Haven.

We didn't know what to expect. My sister lives out of town and we needed her to be near us. She has come on so much in health and mind. I would recommend Parklands to anyone. The care, food and cleanliness are more than we hoped for, cannot fault anything. The grounds are wonderful to sit in. It's home
from home. Visitors are made so welcome, 10 out of 10 for everything.

My aunt came into Beverly Parklands for respite care, after an operation and a stay in hosptial and we couldn't be happier. She thinks the home is like a five star hotel, the food is delicious and the activities are great.

I could not recommend Beverley Parklands highly enough. The rooms are 5*, the staff are all lovely and very kind and caring.
My parents stayed for three months and it was a pleasure to visit them there.

The service my father receives at this care home is excellent. He has been in a few others for respite and I am now glad that my father has finally received the excellent care he deserves, here at Beverley. The staff are wonderful and have helped my father settle in a treat.
This care home is definitely
a home from home experience and the atmosphere is very relaxed, which is what dementia suffers need. Most importantly my father is happy here and that's all that matters.

We both feel that everything that you have to offer at Beverley Parklands is inspirational. Obviously, the physical environment is lovely, but what shines out is the dedication, kindness and cheerfulness of all your staff. Both dad and mum have sung your praises and repeatedly commented on the loveliness
