My aunt came into Beverly Parklands for respite care, after an operation and a stay in hosptial and we couldn't be happier. She thinks the home is like a five star hotel, the food is delicious and the activities are great.

Thank you everyone!

I could not recommend Beverley Parklands highly enough. The rooms are 5*, the staff are all lovely and very kind and caring.

My parents stayed for three months and it was a pleasure to visit them there.

The service my father receives at this care home is excellent. He has been in a few others for respite and I am now glad that my father has finally received the excellent care he deserves, here at Beverley. The staff are wonderful and have helped my father settle in a treat.

This care home is definitely a home from home experience and the atmosphere is very relaxed, which is what dementia suffers need. Most importantly my father is happy here and that's all that matters.

We both feel that everything that you have to offer at Beverley Parklands is inspirational. Obviously, the physical environment is lovely, but what shines out is the dedication, kindness and cheerfulness of all your staff. Both dad and mum have sung your praises and repeatedly commented on the loveliness and kindness of everyone that has been involved in taking care of them.

I can unreservedly recommend this care home. My mum was one of the first residents there and is so happy and well cared for by the brilliant members of staff.
A beautiful and stimulating environment too!

More like a five-star hotel than a care home.

My mum moved in here as their first resident. I can honestly say I have never been in such a fantastic place. It was a difficult time for our family, as my father recently passed away and mum's advanced dementia made it imperative we found the right home for her. We certainly have!

The carers are absolutely wonderful and we look forward to visiting her in the most wonderful surroundings. All care homes should be modelled on this one.

Meet the Team (1)

Samantha Atkin
Samantha AtkinJob Title:Home Manager

I have worked in the healthcare sector for 20 years, six of those in management roles. Along the way, I’ve achieved my Level 3 in Health and Social Care, my Care Practitioner Award, and a diploma in accounting. I’m currently completing my Level 5 Leader in Adult Care qualification. Before becoming Home Manager, I worked as a Care Practitioner and Deputy Manager, experiences that gave me a strong foundation for the role I hold today.

I joined Care UK through a transfer from another home, and after researching the organisation, I was excited to continue my career here. Care UK’s focus on high standards of care for residents and colleagues matches my own values. To do this role well, I believe you must be approachable, dependable, empathetic, and adaptable, with excellent communication skills.

The highlight of my day is always time spent with residents, listening to their life stories and favourite memories. Supporting them to achieve their goals is especially rewarding. I’m proud to lead the team here at Beverley Parklands, where we work together to create a true sense of family and belonging.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my young daughter and reading.
