Overall Experience

Beautiful luxury care home with a large spacious room. Very clean and tidy. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful in making the move from my mother's house to Blatchington Manor. Having started off by saying she really didn’t want to move, she has admitted that it was for the best and that she feels very well cared and looked after. Honestly cannot think of anything that could be done to improve it. Mum has settled quickly and I feel hugely relieved that she is safe, healthy and happy.

Blatchington Manor is a warm and welcoming care home with a modern but homely feel. Everything has been designed to make the residents secure and comfortable and there are plenty of activities and lovely gardens to relax in. The staff are all very kind and caring and we are always given a lovely welcome when we visit our mother. I would recommend Blatchington Manor to anyone needed a specialist dementia care home.

Very kind. All the care staff are and you are welcome into the place with a nice smile and show you where your family member is, which is in the lounge or outside in the garden enjoying the flowers and birds. Very good meals with TV, music, games to do and enjoy.

Since Blatchington Manor opened I have been visiting a resident. This is a beautiful home and I would have a hard job to pick a fault in it. The standard in everything is ace.

Overall Experience

My mother has been living at Blatchington Manor since it opened. I can not recommend it enough. The staff, from the manager and deputy manager downwards are so friendly and caring. We always get a warm welcome when we arrive, whatever day or time we turn up. My mother is well looked after and has even started putting on some weight as the food is "really good", high praise from her. She is kept busy with activities every day and the staff have taken time to get to know Mum and what her interests and previous life was like so they can tailor activities to suit her.

"Welcome to Blatchington Manor. Our home is a truly beautiful, bright, and spacious place where we specialise in providing exceptional dementia care in a warm, relaxed, and inclusive environment. We believe in total freedom of movement, so no areas are closed off here; within our safe and secure environment, our residents are always free to move around as they choose, enjoying our comfortable communal spaces and our lovely gardens.

Our wonderful team is specifically trained in dementia care, enabling us to support each individual with deep compassion, understanding, and dignity while promoting independence and wellbeing every day.

We are nestled on a quiet, peaceful road with its own handy car park, just a short walk from Seaford town centre and the local shops. We love our location - we are just a short car ride from the beautiful Seaford beach and a stone's throw from a quaint little local pond, making it incredibly easy for residents to venture out and stay connected to the community.

Since opening in 2018, we have built a proud local reputation, backed by a 'Good' CQC rating across all domains, glowing family reviews, and a dedicated team that stays with us long-term. Ultimately, we are here to provide personalised care that helps every resident live with purpose, comfort, and confidence. We can't wait to welcome you."
