Our mom went to live in Blossom Hill Care Home in June 2023. The decision to choose this care home has never been regretted. Her care here was outstanding by all staff. We never had any concerns or worries leaving her in the care of these dedicated staff. She was treated with respect and dignity at
all times. The management was visible at all times of the day and had an open door if we had any worries, as well as the deputy. Senior staff were vigilant and staff members provided excellent care. The home is clean and tidy at all times. I cannot thank Blossom Hill enough for caring for our mom.

In all, honestly I believe I made an excellent choice in my husband's care home. He's been well looked after while in respite and is now home and happy in himself. I thank the home and its dedicated staff. Thanks a lot.

Mum-in-law came from hospital for the first experience of a care home (aged 90). She has enjoyed her stay and has made a great recovery so we are now discussing a return to independent living.
We have also discussed her returning here, in the event that she becomes unable to care for herself (or somewhere
similar if no spaces are available here). The family have seen the quality and care available and this has helped reassure them that residential care is not to be feared.

The care and support my mother receives in Blossom Hill Care Home is second to none. The staff are amazingly friendly, extremely hard working and genuinely care for their residents. During a recent hospital visit, the ambulance staff commented that “Blossom Hill was the nicest home they had ever visited.
That the residents' records were detailed and in order. That the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating”. It is reassuring to know that external agencies who visit most homes in the area, also form the same opinion as we do.

The staff are fantastic with my dad. Dad moved into Blossom Hill in March and settled in really quickly. The staff are amazing and so helpful and are amazing with the residents in the home and I would definitely recommend Blossom to anyone looking for a care home.

My brother-in-law had been a resident for five years in Blossom Hill. I can't thank the staff enough for their love, care and support to him and our family during this time. The best thing my nana did was move to Blossom Hill Care Home. She has been so settled and receives all the care to meet her needs to a very high standard. The family are happy and does not need to stress about her safety. She is supported and cared for in the best possible way.

I have had, over the last three years, a number of friends and family in care homes and found the standard of care, poor, but after visiting a friend of 98 years, in your home, I have found the staff and management to be very compassionate and caring and the building to be clean and well maintained.

My Grandmother has been in Blossom Hill since January 2018, from the instant she moved in the management team and all staff have made her feel extremely welcome. The standard of care in Blossom hill is truly exceptional. Staff are professional, dedicated, caring and are always kind and polite to both
residents and family members. I can honestly say that staff and management genuinely care about the welfare of their residents, each resident is treated with dignity, compassion and respect, this is much is clear to any observer.
The management team are always available to discuss any concerns you may have and regularly keep our family up to date with any changes in my grandmother, giving us peace of mind and allowing us to be confident that she is under the best care possible.
The home is well maintained, hygienic, clean and tidy and has a lovely, homely feel and the staff provide a genuine warmth. Fabulous care home with a family feel, efficiently run to a very high standard.

This home went above all expectations in the final month of my mothers passing the staff from the top to the bottom delivered outstanding care in mams final weeks.
Could not praise all the staff enough. This home must be one if not the best of its kind in our area. I don't like to single out staff
as they were all exceptional but may I just give special mention to two carers in particular who did all they could to make mam comfortable during her last few weeks you were diamonds.

My mum and more recently dad were both residents of Blossom Hill. As I live away from my home town. I visited monthly and was made very welcome and cared for having driven a distance to visit. More importantly, the care my parents received was excellent, very professional and loving treating both with
dignity. Anyone seeking a care home in the Sunderland area would be foolish not to consider Blossom Hill.

The care my late mother received over the last 8 months of her life was exemplary. All of the staff made my mother and me very welcome. My mother was included in the activities at the home doing things like sing-alongs that I never thought she would participate in. It was lovely to know that she was
enjoying herself. The staff kept me informed at all times of how she was and gave me support as her condition started to deteriorate.

We had the hardest decision to make when my grandad was taken poorly and we got told he had to pick a care home for him. We had a look at Blossom Hill and the staff was lovely it felt like home. They made my grandad really welcome and the care he got was really lovely we couldn’t have asked for anything
more. The staff was all ways there to help, smiling and laughing couldn’t say a bad word about this care home you all do an excellent job and thank you so much for all your hard work and care you give to my grandad x

My auntie as been in since February 2020 and she as settled in no bother and the staff are very helpful and very good with the resident's plenty for them to do. The entertainment is very good we all like a good sing-song but we know she is very well looked after. I would definitely recommend this home.
