I find the staff to be extremely helpful. The home is well maintained and on every visit, there is a lovely feel about the home.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the care my dad receives in the home.

My father was a resident for only four weeks. He had the best care that could possibly be given. The staff from the bottom to the top went over and above their duty to make his last days as comfortable as could be. Blossom Hill interior is very calming and clean like a hotel. All the team are very happy
in their jobs and work well together.

Mum was very well looked after up until she died on 10 August 2018. She was only at Blossom Hill for the last 4 months of her life. Nurses made sure meds were given appropriately, HCA's were gentle and patient with her. Washing was done beautifully. The care home was clean (no smell) always fresh. Dietary
needs were met. Cook even came on numerous occasions to ask mum what she fancied to eat.

Job Title: Home Manager

I started my career in a private-sector nursing home in 2002 looking after the elderly. Following this, I went on to study for 3 years at Northumbria University qualifying as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. After qualifying I went on to work with young people living with mental health. Although I found this very rewarding, I chose that working with the elderly was more my focus and this is the sector I continue to work within. As the Manager of Blossom Hill Care Home alongside a dedicated staff team, we all share the same passion for caring for the elderly as myself.
