My auntie as been in since February 2020 and she as settled in no bother and the staff are very helpful and very good with the resident's plenty for them to do. The entertainment is very good we all like a good sing-song but we know she is very well looked after. I would definitely recommend this home.

My mam has been in Blossom Hill since the beginning of March 2020. From the outset, management, staff and residents made mam very welcome.
The care mam receives is exceptional. The staff are dedicated and very caring and help mam retain her dignity at this difficult time. The management and staff are always kind and polite which is greatly appreciated by mam and her family.
Management and staff are always available to discuss any concerns I have, and keep me up to date with such things as her medication, eating habits and fluid intake. Mam is a fussy eater, and staff will go out of their way to ensure that she has something to eat that she likes.

My mam is in good hands which is very reassuring to us all. I would highly recommend Blossom Hill to anyone who is in need of care.

My dad was 94 and suffering from Dementia when we had to make the decision to move him to a care home. This decision on which home was not only a very difficult decision to make, it was also one of the most important decisions to make. My sister and I visited 12 care homes in Sunderland before deciding on Blossom Hill. Dad spent the last 21 months of his life in Blossom Hill and every single day he was there he was treated with love, dignity and compassion. The staff kept him engaged and stimulated with kind words, chats and cuddles. Every time we left the home after visiting, we had the peace of mind knowing that dad was in the right place, safe and content. Blossom Hill has a clean fresh smell and all the rooms and both dining rooms are bright and airy. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms and there are no restrictions on visiting times. We were also able to take dad out if we wanted to.

We have nothing but the highest praise for the whole team at Blossom Hill.

Myself and family would like to thank the whole team at Blossom Hill for their caring, professional attitude whilst my mother was residing there. The team are very hard working compassionate human beings who genuinely care for their residents. My mother had a wicked sense of humour and the staff thought the world of her, nothing was a bother for the team, a very big thank you for looking after my mother till she passed. Please pass this on to the team.

Blossom Hill is a greatly maintained care home, one of the best I have personally seen. Care home hygiene is excellent from what I’ve witnessed during my visits.
Staff at Blossom Hill are exceptionally great with residents and families, always making you feel welcome; showing their professional and caring nature.
Blossom Hill is an outstanding place to be, they have so much going on - from group activities among residents to trips out to the local church.
Blossom Hill staff members cared for my nana until her final day's. We are so grateful for the time and dedication put into making nana’s last days so comforting and eventful.

We would like to say a huge thank you for welcoming nana into Blossom Hill’s family; from the very first day.

Current management are always helpful and available. Overall the staff are friendly and helpful to some it's a vocation, to others it's just a job. I would give a special mention to staff who helped my mother settle in and in some cases goes beyond what is required to support my mother. If I had one issue it would relate to catering e.g Chinese New Year, lunch was a Chinese meal, no option was provided.

My father was a resident for only four weeks. He had the best care that could possibly be given. The staff from the bottom to the top went over and above their duty to make his last days as comfortable as could be. Blossom Hill interior is very calming and clean like a hotel. All the team are very happy in their jobs and work well together.

Mum was very well looked after up until she died on 10 August 2018. She was only at Blossom Hill for the last 4 months of her life. Nurses made sure meds were given appropriately, HCA's were gentle and patient with her. Washing was done beautifully. The care home was clean (no smell) always fresh. Dietary needs were met. Cook even came on numerous occasions to ask mum what she fancied to eat.
