I started my career in a private-sector nursing home in 2002 looking after the elderly. Following this, I went on to study for 3 years at Northumbria University qualifying as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. After qualifying I went on to work with young people living with mental health. Although I found this very rewarding, I chose that working with the elderly was more my focus and this is the sector I continue to work within. As the Manager of Blossom Hill Care Home alongside a dedicated staff team, we all share the same passion for caring for the elderly as myself.
