Excellent home, more than meets the needs of our father. Person-centred care, friendly and professional at all times. The staff and management are amazing and always available on-site if needed. Communication is excellent, always kept up to date with Dad's care and support plans.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review and we are very happy to hear that you are very happy with the care provided at Bluebell Court Care Home by our care team.
It was a really big decision taking my wife to a care home. It was getting really difficult to look after her at home. I looked at a couple of homes before we came to Bluebell Court Care Home. I know her room as we walked through the door it was different, it was bright clean and welcoming. The staff are all really nice and caring to residents and visitors. My wife is quite happy where she is and that makes me happy. I can't thank them enough.
My husband has been in Bluebell Court Care Home for over four years now. He has been at death's door with pneumonia this year and the caring staff managed to pull him through. I cannot fault this care home for the support and care my husband has received. The social events held throughout the year are excellent and well-received by the residents, families and staff alike. It is a relief to know my husband is in safe hands.
I have been really happy with the care my husband is receiving at Bluebell Court. The managers and office staff are very supportive. The carers are hard-working, and the nurses are very professional. The home is very clean. This gives me peace of mind, as it was very traumatic for the family when a loved one has to go into a nursing home.
My father-in-law transferred to Bluebell Court from a care home as he needed nursing care. The change in him in 3 weeks is unbelievable, he was in the other home for 6 1/2 years. He’s not as agitated, he’s smiling again and chatting with us, which we haven’t had for 3 years. He looks clean and well cared for. He said he’s happy here. The staff are extremely friendly and caring and we are updated regularly on how he’s doing. My husband, my brother-in-law and Father-in-law’s, sister-in-law, couldn’t believe the positive changes in him. Thank you to all the staff for looking after him so well. It’s made us happier about his move as we were very apprehensive.
The Bluebell Nursing Home is a lovely place for my mum to be in. It is very hygienic and always kept that way. Safe also, for my mum. We know she is being looked after.
We feel fortunate that my husband has a place at Bluebell Court. They specialise in dementia care and the management and senior staff have many years experience in this field of caring. There is a good atmosphere in the home, residents seem relaxed and content and all staff are friendly, patient and caring, which makes for a happy home. This also is a comfort for our family, knowing that our loved one is in a good place.
My mother is very well cared for and is treated with dignity and respect. All the staff at Bluebell are wonderful. Thank you to all the team of staff and carers.
The care home is very clean and well-appointed.
Always get a pleasant greeting from all staff which is very good to see. My wife's reaction to seeing members of staff always brings a smile to her face, which is very nice to see.
In the three years I've been visiting my brother-in-law, I have been treated with friendliness and understanding. The staff have always been approachable and not been made to feel a nuisance with any questions I've needed to ask. You just feel as though you are part of a caring family.
Very pleased with the care my wife is having in Bluebell Court. The staff are always very pleasant and caring. They are very obliging and helpful. The management always keeps us informed about my wife's care and needs.
The staff are very caring. My mum is very comfortable and very well looked after.
I found the staff very caring all the time. The patients are well looked after.
On visiting, we always find it nice and clean. Staff always make you welcome. Rooms nice and clean, and clothes for the patient are always taken care of. Would recommend the home. The staff seem to work together very well.
As a visitor, I found the staff and management friendly and approachable. I felt relaxed and appreciated the fact of being able to have a private visit without interruptions. I noticed an improvement in the resident's physical wellbeing. I was also kept updated as to future care and assessments if and when needed. The standard of the home itself is excellent.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. Our team works hard to ensure visits go smoothly for families.
My mum is so happy and settled in her new home with her new friends and extended family. All the staff are genuinely caring and respectful towards my mum. When we visit Mum, she is so happy, always immaculate and clearly loved and cared for. We cannot thank you enough for everything you do for Mum. We love and miss our mum so much and look forward to our visits each week. You are our family too. Thank you.
The staff are very aware of my mum's needs and have adapted to changes in my mum's health brilliantly. All the staff are very helpful and extremely caring. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I feel very reassured that mum is under the care of Bluebell Court.
My mum was a resident at Bluebell Court for just over 8 years and sadly passed away in June 2021.
When we first viewed the home we knew it was the right place for Mum and her complex needs. All the staff have been excellent in the care of Mum and I can assure you she had her moments but they just knew how to handle her and calm her down. They always make sure that your family member is comfortable and cared for. During the pandemic, they have kept in touch constantly to let us know how she is and my dad rang every other day and they were never too busy to take his call. I do not know what we would have done without the staff at Bluebell they are very special people a big thank you to the management, admin and care staff we owe you so much.
When Mum passed they treated her like she was a family member, they were so caring and respectful of my mum and us as a family which helped us so much on that very sad day. Thank you always.
After poor care from a different care home (one a lot more expensive), we cannot compliment Bluebell Court Care Home enough. Every time I see my uncle he is clean, hair tidy, shaven and well dressed (as in, isn't covered in food!). He has not once complained and is always encouraged by staff. Your care staff are excellent and deserve high praise.

Meet the Team (1)

I’m Sindu Saju, the proud Registered Manager of our warm and welcoming EMI Nursing Home.
My journey with Unity Homes began in 2008 as a registered nurse, driven by a deep passion for delivering exceptional, person-centred care. Over the years, I have grown with the organisation, progressing through a variety of roles and embracing every opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support.
Since 2016, I’ve had the honour of becoming a registered manager of our specialist EMI dementia nursing home, where I’ve developed and led a compassionate, highly trained team committed to making residents feel safe, valued, and at home. Together, we’ve fostered a culture rooted in excellence, where personalised care, kindness, and dignity are central to our approach. Our priority is to support each individual’s well-being and independence through respectful, tailored care that recognises their unique needs.
I believe that outstanding care comes from a strong, supported team. That’s why I invest deeply in staff development and lead by example to foster a positive, nurturing environment for both residents and colleagues.
My commitment to quality has been recognised nationally—I was honoured to be shortlisted for the Great British Care Awards as Best Care Home Manager, a reflection of the high standards and positive outcomes we consistently achieve. This recognition reflects our consistent delivery of excellence and the positive impact we have on residents and their families.
I am now proud to have been promoted to the role of Regional Manager, overseeing three homes in the Northwest. In this expanded role, I continue to support and guide teams in delivering compassionate, high-quality care across all our services.
Families can feel confident knowing their loved ones are in safe hands and supported by a team that truly cares. I warmly welcome you to visit our home and experience the difference for yourself, every single day.
