This charming twenty-eight bedroomed home is led by a long-standing, and experienced nurse qualified home manager. Conveniently situated within 1 mile of Aylesbury town centre and a short distance from the village of Wendover in Buckinghamshire, the home has been refurbished to a high standard, offering beautiful and comfortable bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms, welcoming living spaces, a relaxing hair salon, and a delightful garden where summer barbecues are hosted and fresh produce is grown and used in the five-star rated kitchen.

The family ethos and the warm relationships the staff achieve are greatly valued by both residents and visitors. The stable staff team receive significant in-house training, ensuring skilled and responsive care to meet the individual needs and wishes of every resident. The home is welcoming, bright and airy. All newly decorated with attractive and purposeful displays on the walls. Furniture new and clean and environment pleasant without any odours. The staff are without a doubt dedicated, caring and giving, above a good standard. They made a big difference socially
to my father, as he was bedbound and would rely on company visiting his room. The standard of nursing care at the home made my fathers last 18 months as comfortable and happy as possible. The family would like to Thank you all!

We viewed this home at the beginning of the year along with others, but this one stood out. In the meantime, my dad went into respite where he was diagnosed with terminal cancer and was eventually moved to Byron House, we were over the moon.
The home is friendly with a homely environment, efficient
staff, whom are professional, warm and caring, even down to the chef who laid on the floor when my dad fell, keeping him calm until the ambulance arrived. He is one wonderful person.

Alzheimer's is a very cruel disease, robbing the sufferer of pride dignity and all that made them special. Byron House delivered outstanding care with grace, respect and humour that helped us keep Ma and that made her the unique person she was for as long as possible.


Her passing was made a little

easier to bear knowing how well she was looked after and the kindness she and all the members of her family were met with. We would all like to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Byron House and would offer our recommendation.

Mum was treated extremely well while she was at Byron House. She was only there a week but even so, was treated like all the other residents. She especially enjoyed the food and loved being waited on!

I was due to have a whole hip replacement procedure within a week. Via the internet I contacted Byron House and outlined my requirements including full 24 hr nursing care etc for six weeks. Their administrator sent a brochure inclusive of typical menu, activity programme etc by first class post and
excellent response. Two days later me and my neighbour were very welcomed with refreshments and shown around the home and some of the empty rooms which were very impressive by the friendly manager. In conclusion a very well decorated and light room was booked. On arrival after five days release from hospital I was met by some of the pleasant care staff complete with wheelchair and taken to my selected room and straight away given sandwiches and tea, very appreciated. The room had been very well prepared with raised loo, chair and hospital type bed. During my stay the staff carried out a marvellous job looking after every need. A very pleasant and enjoyable stay. (Holiday)

The standard of care in this home is exemplary. The staff give 110% at all times. They are patient, caring, understanding, kind and sensitive to my father's needs. I cannot imagine how this could be improved. I would recommend Byron House to anyone. With all the bad press around regarding nursing care
this home is a shining example of how wrong this is. They are first class.

My mother seem very content and although I only see the home about 1 hour a week, the staff are always very attentive and affectionate with her. My only niggles with her wardrobe is sometimes a little bit smelly and I was asked to buy some shampoo once which is odd when I pay so much for the room anyway.
Overall I am very happy with the home.

We selected Byron House for my mother's end of life care afer viewing four care homes. What impressed us about Byron when we first visited was the excellent management, the friendliness of the staff, and the beautiful, intimate facility - it felt like a home rather than a care home. Once my mother
moved in, it became even more evident that we had made the right choice - the staff were so kind and caring and nothing was too much bother. We would have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful home to others.

Renjini is passionate about people and truly embodies Westgate Healthcare’s values. Since beginning her nursing career in India in 2007 and moving to England to pursue her vocation, she has brought compassion, commitment, and leadership to every role.


Joining Westgate in 2020, Renjini quickly rose through the ranks at Hampden Hall Care Centre, our sister home in Aylesbury, eventually managing its largest unit. Her leadership transformed team morale, improved care outcomes, and earned her the Westgate Star of the Year Award in 2023.


Renjini was promoted to Home Manager at Byron House in June 2025, where she leads with empathy and purpose. She empowers her team to deliver compassionate, committed, collaborative, and credible care, ensuring every resident feels safe, valued, and supported. She has recently completed her Level 5 leadership qualification and remains dedicated to promoting well-being and nurturing a positive, person-centred culture.
