The staff are pretty special too, and I mean that in the nicest possible way.

This home has thrown every misconception I had about care homes out of the window. Mum has been there now for two months and has never looked so happy and well. The manager is fantastic and extremely supportive and always available. The staff are so kind and caring and genuinely care about the residents. The home is spotlessly clean and very homely. I am always made to feel very welcome and if I have ever raised anything it is dealt with promptly. The home certainly lives up to its reputation in the community.

This home is absolutely incredible. The home is beautiful inside and the rooms are fully equipped. The home is extremely clean and well maintained. There are activities available to the residents on a daily basis. The food is well balanced and a nice range of choices. The staff are absolutely incredible. My mom has been at Caldwell Grange for 12 months now and I am so happy that she has been kept safe during the pandemic. The staff are so friendly and will always go the extra mile to help you. Whenever I have called to talk to mom or arrange a visit the staff and admin have been so accommodating. I would strongly recommend Caldwell Grange for your loved one.

It was a hard decision, putting my mum into a care home. We had been looking at care homes and Caldwell Grange was mentioned to us from the social work team. We contacted the home and we were very pleased that Caldwell Grange had a vacancy and could take my mum. My mum was not a well woman and due to the Covid pandemic it was difficult to get to see Mum but the manager and her team were very good. They made sure it was always possible for us as a family be able to have regular contact with my mum. Sadly we lost our mum on New Year's Day, the staff were amazing, very dignified and treated my mum with respect. The management arrived to pay their respects and we knew we made the right decision in placing our mum at Caldwell Grange. Mum was well cared for and the staff are so friendly, I would definitely recommend Caldwell Grange to anyone that I know who is looking for a care home.

My Mum moved into the home back in February before the lockdown which made us highly anxious as no sooner had she moved in we then could not visit her. I can honestly say our worry was short-lived as the home's communication with us as a family and making sure my Mum stayed connected with us has been fantastic. I could not have asked for anywhere better for My Mum to live and be taken care of. I video my Mum three times a week and she always looks so well cared for and is happy. Mum has always liked her hair and makeup done and the staff have continued to make sure this is done. My Mum has said all of the staff are very kind to her and take good care of her and nothing is too much trouble.

I enjoy living at Caldwell and the staff went above and beyond to help me celebrate my birthday during the lockdown period. They made what would have been a very quiet day I felt very special. My keyworker brought me flowers and cake in for everyone to share. The staff and others living here are all super friendly and nothing is too much for them. They are like a family.d

My mum has been a resident at Caldwell Grange for nearly 4 years. I am very happy with the level of care that my mum is receiving. The management has a very proactive, hands-on approach to the care that is given and my mum has always been happy and contented since moving to Caldwell Grange. The care staff do a wonderful job and all the staff go above and beyond to ensure the residents are well and happy. I am kept up to date with any matters relating to my mum. I was particularly pleased with the early intervention that management implemented for the safety of the residents when Covid 19 first started to spread in the community. Staff have facilitated video calls so that I can see my mum, for which I am extremely grateful. They are always approachable and I am reassured that my mum is receiving the best care possible.

My dad is a resident of Caldwell Grange and he is very well looked after. The staff are all extremely helpful and welcoming, the home is very clean and all the residents are very well looked after. The ratio of staff members to residents is more than adequate. Dad can be quite a handful at times, sadly that is the nature of his illness, staff are very quick to pick up on dads behaviour patterns. Since the home went into lockdown in March, I have been unable to see dad, which is very upsetting for me but also for my dad. However, I have to say that one particular carer has been absolutely amazing, she has kept me informed at all times regarding dad, she video calls me at least three times a week so I can talk to dad, and he can see me, she has gone over and beyond her role as a carer, she is the closest dad has to family in the home. I honestly couldn’t wish for a nicer person to be by his side, she has a great relationship with dad, he adores her, I know dad is in very safe hands.

This is a beautiful home with exceptionally good care. Our loved one is very well cared for and the home makes sure we are kept in touch with our loved one during the current pandemic. The home is beautiful inside and residents are cared for with love and attention. The staff team make you feel very welcome and part of the home. The Manager is always available if we wish to speak to anyone and someone is always available to talk to if we call and answer any questions we have. The home is spotlessly clean and lives up to its fantastic reputation in the community.

We as a family are always made to feel very welcome by all the staff. After a shaky start, my mum has settled really well with help from the staff.

Satisfactory home, staff are friendly and polite. Weekends are problems waiting for someone to let visitors in and out.

My grandad moved into Caldwell six months ago and the improvement in his health and well being is great. The staff are kind and hard working. Our family appreciate all they do for him.

My stepdad moved to Caldwell when my mum could no longer cope with his Dementia. The manager and her team did everything they could to reassure my mum as this was a very hard time for her. They looked after my stepdad extremely well - he always looked clean and comfortable and I often saw him having a laugh and a joke with everyone. When he passed away yesterday staff couldn’t do enough for us - they even went to collect my mum from home so she was with him at the end. A staff team to be proud of!

The care staff are amazing and the manager is very approachable and accessible. An excellent home. Highly recommend
