My mum has been a resident at Caldwell Grange for nearly 4 years. I am very happy with the level of care that my mum is receiving. The management has a very proactive, hands-on approach to the care that is given and my mum has always been happy and contented since moving to Caldwell Grange. The care staff do a wonderful job and all the staff go above and beyond to ensure the residents are well and happy. I am kept up to date with any matters relating to my mum. I was particularly pleased with the early intervention that management implemented for the safety of the residents when Covid 19 first started to spread in the community. Staff have facilitated video calls so that I can see my mum, for which I am extremely grateful. They are always approachable and I am reassured that my mum is receiving the best care possible.

My dad is a resident of Caldwell Grange and he is very well looked after. The staff are all extremely helpful and welcoming, the home is very clean and all the residents are very well looked after. The ratio of staff members to residents is more than adequate. Dad can be quite a handful at times, sadly that is the nature of his illness, staff are very quick to pick up on dads behaviour patterns. Since the home went into lockdown in March, I have been unable to see dad, which is very upsetting for me but also for my dad. However, I have to say that one particular carer has been absolutely amazing, she has kept me informed at all times regarding dad, she video calls me at least three times a week so I can talk to dad, and he can see me, she has gone over and beyond her role as a carer, she is the closest dad has to family in the home. I honestly couldn’t wish for a nicer person to be by his side, she has a great relationship with dad, he adores her, I know dad is in very safe hands.

This is a beautiful home with exceptionally good care. Our loved one is very well cared for and the home makes sure we are kept in touch with our loved one during the current pandemic. The home is beautiful inside and residents are cared for with love and attention. The staff team make you feel very welcome and part of the home. The Manager is always available if we wish to speak to anyone and someone is always available to talk to if we call and answer any questions we have. The home is spotlessly clean and lives up to its fantastic reputation in the community.

My mum has been here for over two years now. The staff care for her like she is one of their family. The levels of communication regarding my mum from the management team is excellent. I could not be happier with our experience at Caldwell Grange. I highly recommend Caldwell Grange to anyone looking for a care home for their loved ones. They make you feel like you're joining their family.

My stepdad moved to Caldwell when my mum could no longer cope with his Dementia. The manager and her team did everything they could to reassure my mum as this was a very hard time for her. They looked after my stepdad extremely well - he always looked clean and comfortable and I often saw him having a laugh and a joke with everyone. When he passed away yesterday staff couldn’t do enough for us - they even went to collect my mum from home so she was with him at the end. A staff team to be proud of!

The house is modern and has excellent facilities. Mum loves the trips and goes out regularly with the activities coordinator. The rooms are kept clean and there is a separate lounge which we can have a coffee with mum.

The care staff are amazing and the manager is very approachable and accessible. An excellent home. Highly recommend

Although my brother can be difficult sometimes, he settled well and is very well cared for, management are excellent and although busy staff do their best to cater for his needs the best they can. Dementia can be a difficult disease to understand and care for but Caldwell Grange do it well.

Thank you for all you do.

Caldwell Grange has changed my opinion of care homes, the management, the carers, all and every one, have been great. We, as a family, could not have asked for more, the care and attention my mother received was 1st class up until she died. We, as a family, could not have asked for more, the staff were excellent.

Last year made the difficult decision to move mum into a care home, a tough testing few months but mums now settled, happy and safe and well cared for. Cannot fault anyone for there attention and commitment to any of the residents. Yes it is sometimes busy, yes they are sometimes short staffed but residents are always well looked after.
