Dad has only been there three weeks, but I am very impressed by the building etc, it feels like a good hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The staff are all very pleasant and visitors are always made to feel welcome. The manager is always available for a chat, even about minor issues. Having visited other homes in the area, this is definitely the best.

I cannot recommend this home highly enough. My mother lived at Caldwell for the last 10 months of her life, after making the hard decision for her to go into residential care I could not have made a better one.

All the staff are exceptional and I thank them all dearly for the care and compassion shown to my mum and all other residents. Any concerns I had were answered and sorted immediately as the staff and management team are very approachable, understanding and supportive in each individual's needs.

The media are all too quick to report bad care, it’s a shame more is not reported for those going above and beyond.

Thank you to all at Caldwell.

We have been more than happy with the care and nursing our mother has been receiving. Nothing seems too much for the care staff who have a wonderful relationship with the residents. Regular special events are well received by the resident's regular special events are well received by the residents e.g Easter bonnet making, films, instrumental groups plus so much more. A big well done to Caldwell Grange!!

My mother has been in Caldwell Grange since the end of January 2017 and she is very happy at Caldwell Grange. We were able to choose her room which has dual aspect and is very light, airy and large with plenty of storage space and a spacious wet room.

Mum has dementia and the staff are excellent. They include her in all the activities on offer as she is very social and likes to be involved even if she is unable to fully participate.

The original carer mum had is excellent and very approachable. She was very supportive when we were looking for a care home for mum.

The whole family, including my sons and young nephews, are made to feel very welcome when visiting and nothing is too much trouble for the staff at Caldwell.

My friend has recently moved into the new Caldwell Grange. The home, quite frankly, dispels every myth around care homes. It's clean, bright, airy, spacious. Most of all the carers are simply wonderful, the food is good home cooking all made with residents in mind. its a pleasure to see my friend enjoying the tea room and lovely open courtyard, laughing with his new friends - residents and carers alike !
