My mother is not the easiest of people, but the team looking after her have gone out of their way to help her as much as they can, keeping her comfortable and as happy as she can be in the circumstances.

I had viewed many care homes for Dad and on recommendation from a friend, whose relative was there, was delighted from the minute I stepped into the reception area. The effort to maintain the cleanliness, smartness and ambience of the home is outstanding. The staff, without exception, have been amazing. He has 'blossomed' and his well-being has improved dramatically. The food is amazing and menu choices and individual requests are always available. The activities available are plentiful and he enjoys the occasional outing to a garden centre or quiz in one of the lounges. His sociability has improved, having lived alone for four years, it took a bit of time! After his previous experience at a care home, I visited him regularly - possibly too often, but I've got to know many of the carers and staff members and their cheerfulness, willingness to go beyond their remit and camaraderie is constant. The only downside is that the 'ladies' are arguing where he sits at lunchtime!

I needed to place my mum into a care home due to a crisis - not safe at home. Contacted Cherry Wood Grange Care Home - they were able to accommodate my mum - great news. She has never been in a care home - she tells me everyone is lovely and looks after her. I was also relieved that Mum was safe too. she has since been reviewed by social care - and would like to remain in a care home setting. The staff go above and beyond for all the residents in this home.

My mum started visiting Cherry Wood as a day resident before Covid and when we were approaching the lockdown we were offered a bed for her and that was the best decision we made. She has now been in the care home for two years. She has Alzheimer's and so needs to be entertained constantly when she is here. There is an extensive activity program which is excellent in keeping her attention. The staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Mum is very happy here and considers it home, she has made lots of friends who all look out for each other. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone who is looking for a care home.

A very friendly and professional organisation. Staff are always very welcoming and give an air of professionalism and competence. My mother took time to settle but I have noticed a change recently in her attitude towards being in the home. A much more positive frame of mind.

Very well looked after, could be more one-to-one. Needs stimulation though probably not enough staff. Nursing floor residents need to mix when possible with ground floor activities. Nursing staff work so very hard, all so lovely.

I was looking after the lady on the residential floor for a few years when I looked into a care home for her as she needs full-time care now. I had previously visited Cherry Wood Grange Care Home for my mother-in-law. I can truly say the staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. The management team are so friendly and approachable and I know that our lady is in the best possible place for the next chapter in her life. I can't thank them all enough.

The entire staff are very friendly, enthusiastic and well-motivated. I know of no other nursing home that offers such a wide variety of activities that make life interesting for the residents. The staff are very approachable and respond promptly to any matters that I may wish to discuss. I am so lucky to have found such a wonderful home for my mother.

My Nan was looked after fantastically during her time at Cherry Wood, the managers and all the staff were fantastic with us all. Even though the UK was in the depths of the coronavirus pandemic they managed to arrange great facilities to enable me to visit her in the gardens which are fantastic. My Nan loved the home and all the staff treated her brilliantly. I can't say thank you enough to everyone especially the managers, and the member of staff on reception was really helpful when we arranged the visit getting us booked in and settled before my Nan came down to see us. I would highly recommend Cherry Wood to anyone looking for a loved one to be cared for. A 5-star service.

My wife had to go into care when she was unable to move almost all her muscles. As she cannot move, talk or shower she requires 24hr care. The staff took extra time to establish communication with my wife which is all based on facial movement.

She often feels isolated but the staff take time to comfort her. My wife feels secure and safe at the care house over the staff putting in the extra effort and care.

Cherry Wood Grange was recommended to my uncle for a respite stay after a period in hospital. When my uncle arrived at Cherry Wood to reside on the nursing floor for respite care, he was extremely ill. After the quality of care that he received at Cherry Wood he went home after 8 weeks recovering and revitalised having enjoyed all aspects of life in Cherry Wood Grange.
After a short period at home my uncle's health suffered and he asked to return to Cherry Wood to spend the rest of his life being looked after with care, quality and dignity.
Myself and my family were blessed to find such a wonderful caring home where he lived to enjoy the rest of his days. The support given by the management team and all the wonderful staff was truly outstanding.

I would not hesitate to recommend Cherry Wood Grange.

My Mum has been a resident of Cherry Wood Grange since March 2018 and I cannot emphasise enough how happy she is there. The care she receives is beyond exceptional and nothing is too much trouble. The Management Team are always very accommodating with anything you need to discuss with them and will always go out of their way to help. The Carers are absolutely 5-star and my Mum loves every one of them. They show her so much love and this is lovely to see. I cannot recommend Cherry Wood Grange enough and every time we visit my Mum and leave, the happiness she shows us at being there is unbelievable and reassuring. She is so happy there.
