Chetwynd House Care Home is a family-run, award-winning care home providing luxury quality care in Chilwell.

A friendly, well-trained team ensures high standards of residential and dementia care in a comfortable, caring and compassionate environment.

Resident happiness and well-being is at the heart of the home and the care team provide a daily fun, engaging and stimulating social programme designed to encourage residents to lead a fulfilled, happy and enriched life. In the dementia care suites, residents have access to sensory areas, reminiscence activities and memory boxes. With its own minibus, residents frequently get out and about on day trips to places of local interest.

Exceptional facilities include spacious en-suite bedrooms, a cinema, corner shop, traditional pub and hair salon. My sister has been here since May 2023. Her care has been excellent. I cannot praise the home enough. They are all lovely, polite and caring to both my sister and us (her sisters). The entertainment that is provided is fabulous.

This is the best care home I have ever had the privilege of being in. From the initial welcome it is clear residents enjoy being here and the staff like working here. The manager and all the carers exude caring and professionalism in spades and all with a smile, nothing is too much trouble. A quality

I can't recommend Chetwynd House enough. The staff, from the front desk to the care assistants to the manager, are friendly, helpful and kind. My sister is making amazing progress. She is very happy and absolutely loves it - from the food to the activities. She has been to the seaside, swimming and
walks within the local area. The whole ethos is based on the individual, and this shows in both staff and residents. I have even arranged daycare for my dad!

I've just spent sixteen nights in the Chetwynd House and I found it to be very welcoming, safe and very caring with staff and residents. If there is a time when I would be able to come back as a respite, I know I would be welcomed.

Fabulous care given to residents. Nothing too much trouble. As like a home-from-home as it could be. Very caring and understanding to families of residents too.

Staff at Chetwynd House Care Home are kind and helpful every time I speak to them or visit. The home has a welcoming atmosphere with a bright and attractive reception area. Staff genuinely care and appear happy in their work. Many stay in their roles which is reassuring and gives continuity. Dad has
been looked after with dedication for two years. I'd like to thank the staff for doing such a tough job so cheerfully. Dad is peaceful and happy at Chetwynd.

I really appreciate everything you do and have done for my mum. Chetwynd House is a super place filled with genuinely caring staff and we have built up fantastic relationships with you all, especially certain individuals. You are always there at the end of the phone or in person. It's going to be a
shame when my mum leaves as she has done so well physically and emotionally since arriving (despite her moaning) Thank you for everything. You are the best.

Set in the quiet surroundings of a suburban housing estate, Chetwynd House Care Home has easy access to local amenities and pleasant walks where the staff often take residents for walks beyond the home's own outdoor space. There are also well-constructed and designed garden areas on the ground floor.
The internal communal areas are airy and spacious to encourage social interaction. The residents' rooms are adaptable to individual needs and whatever the needs, the exceptional staff are always on hand and eager to help.

My mother was a resident from August to December. She was treated in a friendly, courteous and professional way. All her needs etc. were cared for in the same manner! All staff were helpful, knowledgeable and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Chetwynd House Care Home to anyone.

My nana is a resident at Chetwynd House Care Home. The facilities are brilliant. She is very well cared for.
We have brought our children (her great-grandchildren) along to a breakfast with Santa. This gave my nana a chance to see and be with all her family. The service was outstanding and all residents
and visitors were delighted with the service. All staff are brilliant and provide great care.

The home shows care and kindness to our mum. She is always well cared for and enjoys her life at Chetwynd House Care Home. The home is always clean and well cared for. Staff are always attentive to our mum's needs and the activities are outstanding. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren

I was extremely impressed from the initial home visit assessment, as my parents required very different types of care, one end of life and the other dementia.
Throughout Mum's time here staff from different floors communicated to allow them to spend enough time together, just enough for Dad to remain
calm, while providing rest times for Mum. All staff showed genuine care and compassion for my mum in her final weeks, liaising with all multidisciplinary team providers to ensure she received everything to ensure she was comfortable and pain-free.
The level of professional knowledge and compassion shown to all our family has completely blown us away, the ongoing support to Dad while grieving has been second to none.
The manager is just the most approachable and helpful manager I have ever known. Special recognition to one member of staff who goes above and beyond.
Fantastic teamwork, from the front of house to everyone behind the scenes.

Mum moved in three years ago, followed by Dad two years later. I cannot thank everyone at Chetwynd House Care Home enough for everything they do. The care, food, entertainment and facilities are second to none, they go above and beyond to help. The last two years have been extremely challenging, they
kept our parents safe and well cared for during a very difficult time.
