Caring staff. Excellent facilities.

My sister has been here since May 2023. Her care has been excellent. I cannot praise the home enough. They are all lovely, polite and caring to both my sister and us (her sisters). The entertainment that is provided is fabulous.

Staff helped me during the flooding. The home is like a hotel and everyone was quick to help.

This is the best care home I have ever had the privilege of being in. From the initial welcome it is clear residents enjoy being here and the staff like working here. The manager and all the carers exude caring and professionalism in spades and all with a smile, nothing is too much trouble. A quality service with genuine carers, keep up the excellent work.

I can't recommend Chetwynd House enough. The staff, from the front desk to the care assistants to the manager, are friendly, helpful and kind. My sister is making amazing progress. She is very happy and absolutely loves it - from the food to the activities. She has been to the seaside, swimming and walks within the local area. The whole ethos is based on the individual, and this shows in both staff and residents. I have even arranged daycare for my dad!

I've just spent sixteen nights in the Chetwynd House and I found it to be very welcoming, safe and very caring with staff and residents. If there is a time when I would be able to come back as a respite, I know I would be welcomed.

Very well maintained and clean, lovely to have a pub, garden and cafe area available at all times.

Staff at Chetwynd House Care Home are kind and helpful every time I speak to them or visit. The home has a welcoming atmosphere with a bright and attractive reception area. Staff genuinely care and appear happy in their work. Many stay in their roles which is reassuring and gives continuity. Dad has been looked after with dedication for two years. I'd like to thank the staff for doing such a tough job so cheerfully. Dad is peaceful and happy at Chetwynd.

I really appreciate everything you do and have done for my mum. Chetwynd House is a super place filled with genuinely caring staff and we have built up fantastic relationships with you all, especially certain individuals. You are always there at the end of the phone or in person. It's going to be a shame when my mum leaves as she has done so well physically and emotionally since arriving (despite her moaning) Thank you for everything. You are the best.

Since my mother moved to Chetwynd House Care Home, I have nothing but praise to say about the staff, facilities and generally the whole overall experience of being at the place. Any queries, especially during the Covid problems, were dealt with in a most exemplary and efficient manner. I would highly recommend the care home.

Set in the quiet surroundings of a suburban housing estate, Chetwynd House Care Home has easy access to local amenities and pleasant walks where the staff often take residents for walks beyond the home's own outdoor space. There are also well-constructed and designed garden areas on the ground floor. The internal communal areas are airy and spacious to encourage social interaction. The residents' rooms are adaptable to individual needs and whatever the needs, the exceptional staff are always on hand and eager to help.

My mother was a resident from August to December. She was treated in a friendly, courteous and professional way. All her needs etc. were cared for in the same manner! All staff were helpful, knowledgeable and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Chetwynd House Care Home to anyone.

We have brought our children (her great-grandchildren) along to a breakfast with Santa. This gave my nana a chance to see and be with all her family. The service was outstanding and all residents and visitors were delighted with the service. All staff are brilliant and provide great care.

The home shows care and kindness to our mum. She is always well cared for and enjoys her life at Chetwynd House Care Home. The home is always clean and well cared for. Staff are always attentive to our mum's needs and the activities are outstanding. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren had a fabulous time at breakfast with Santa today.

Chetwynd House Care Home is a lovely place to visit, the staff are welcoming and helpful. Residents are happy, well cared for and enjoy coming to our fortnightly services.

Staff are always keen to assist residents, they are friendly and cheerful both with residents and guests. Plenty of activities for the residents. The home is always spotlessly clean.

The activity team were very supportive and created a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Lovely home to be in. Very pleased.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They clearly try hard to keep the environment clean, tidy and safe for everyone. The staff are constantly helping residents with anything and everything, alongside keeping all residents and themselves entertained. Overall, I'm very happy with everything they're doing!
