Overall Experience

The staff are very friendly and caring. They work hard. The home is clean and tidy. The choice of meals is appropriate and my mother has gained weight while a resident, which she needed to do.I would recommend this facility. I can't comment on activities as my mother does not engage with them.

Reply from Jill King, Manager at Clarkston House

I'm so glad to hear that you've had a warm welcome from the team, and that your mum has gained some weight since she's been with us. There are all the natural concerns when your relative goes into care. I feel so blessed to have chosen Clarkston House. I have no concerns and the staff clearly are devoted to their job. It is evident that my mum and her needs are known and more importantly she is loved.
The staff go out their way to reassure you and event's like birthdays are so special. It feels like a family and can't explain how important that is.

I can't recommend Clarkston House enough.

Overall Experience

I can't really express how impressed I am with Clarkston House. The facilities are amazing but don't let that blind you. The best thing about Clarkston House isn't the building, it's the people that work there. They are all fantastic and I'm so impressed with the level of care that they are providing to my Mum. Care homes are not all the same and the standard at Clarkston House is far superior to the other Care Homes I have visited.

Reply from Robyn Cooper, Administrator at Clarkston House

Thank you for your kind review, we are committed to providing the best level of care for your mum and are thrilled you are so happy with your mum's placement at Clarkston House.
