My mum and dad had a respite stay at Cotswolds Rise Care Home. The care they received from the staff was excellent. The staff made a real effort to get to know them and what they liked and disliked. The room was very clean and comfortable and it was lovely to have a double bed so they could stay in the room together. The food was excellent and the chef was happy to accommodate any likes and dislikes. Overall an excellent stay. We would definitely use Cotswolds Rise again and can highly recommend them.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It is great to hear how much your mum and dad enjoyed their time at Cotswolds Rise. Our chefs take pride in the fresh home cooked meals so to hear your parents enjoyed this is lovely. We will pass on these kind words to the team at Cotswolds Rise and look forward to seeing you again.
Making the decision to have my Grandad in a care home was very hard for us as a family. However, the service and reassurance from Cotswolds Rise Care Home has been exceptional. Every time I come and visit the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The home just feels like a second home for us and really nice to see how well my Grandad is being cared for especially given how complex his health needs are. The home has been decorated and maintained so well. Thank you to all the amazing staff.
Every time I go to see my brother-in-law I am welcomed by the care staff who are always very welcoming. My brother-in-law is always dressed, clean and tidy. His room is always clean and the bed is made just like a hotel.

The staff are passionate about providing high standard care to all our residents we are supporting. I will be sure to pass on your kind comments to the rest of the team.
Moving dad into Cotswold Rise Care Home came at a difficult time, but the whole team made this very easy. Dad has settled in well and enjoys the company of other residents and the friendly staff. I feel at ease that he is somewhere that looks after him well and care about him as an individual.

We are very happy for our relative to be here.

The staff are very engaging and make me feel welcome. My grandad's first language is not English but this doesn't stop the staff from talking and interacting with him throughout the day, this is very nice to see as it would be easier for them to not bother but they go the extra mile to make him feel safe and comfortable.
Every time I go there, the staff know exactly where my grandad is and they provide me with a full update on his past 24 hours, which reassures me that he is constantly being cared and looked after.
I cannot speak highly enough of the staff working at the care home, however I am aware I am getting to my 1000 limit. I just want to say a huge thank you from my family for looking after my grandad.

I settled her in and right from the start she seemed relaxed and settled.
My MIL is not one for getting too involved and the carers/staff soon realised this and put in the effort to include her.
It's warm caring friendly and welcoming.
She went home after 2 weeks but the very next day she wanted to go back.
Now even more than before she seems so settled and is enjoying her new routine and keeps telling me she is so well looked after.
Thank you to all the lovely friendly caring staff for doing a great job.

The team does care about our residents so it's lovely to know that this is felt and noticed. We will pass on these kind words to the team at Cotswolds Rise.
Last month two senior care assistants were on leave during this time it was great to see two young carers step up and take on added responsibility they both provide care with a nice smile on their faces and never complain about anything. If all youngsters had the same work ethic, England would be great again!
Thank you for taking the time to write these lovely words. I am sure the staff will be happy to see that their hard work and dedication doesn't go unnoticed and is appreciated. We will pass on these kind words to the team at Cotswolds Rise.
Looks more like a hotel than a care home. Everyone was friendly and helpful. My friend has settled in nicely and referred to it as home, which is definitely a step in the right direction. The food was great in quality and quantity. It was nice to see some nik-nacks had made the journey too.

A very welcoming. homely experience. The home was very clean and the day out was very good. The staff could not do anymore, always on hand and very polite and friendly. The additional support and needs seems to be taken care of, and it was like visiting home to home. I was very impressed with the layout, and the facilities available for us to use. I was pleasantly surprised with the fine details and care whilst visiting.

My mother went to Cotswolds Rise Care Home for respite for five weeks. She really was well looked after, and I found all the staff to be helpful, caring and kind. I found the managers to be approachable and professional and quick to respond to any queries. My mum was treated with dignity and respect, and the staff became fond of her firing her stay. Mum talked about the chatter and laughter she experienced there.

As a family, we have struck gold having my dad living in this beautiful care home. My dad had a big move to make and we were so concerned as to how this would affect him. We need not have worried as he has settled very well. Cotswolds Rise is a wonderful place for my dad but also for us to visit as a family. The care staff are amazing they have taken on board Dad's care needs and have taken the time to find out how he ticks and respected that. Nothing is too much trouble. All the staff are amazing. I would highly recommend this home.

When my grandad moved in he was concerned about moving into a care home. The staff welcomed him with open arms. I have never seen him so happy recently. He gets up and joins in all the activities which take place every day. The facilities are great. The staff have really gone out of their way to make him settled and happy. When I turn up they always spend time to update me on what he has been doing and invite me to events to join in. What a great place to live! Almost like living in a 5* hotel.

Our whole family had Christmas Day at the home with my dad, we had a lovely Christmas lunch and the staff all made us feel really welcome.
All in all a fabulous care home which is more like a luxury hotel!

My father moved into the Cotswolds Rise Home in Purton, Swindon in November 2023. I visited my father during December and saw firsthand how care and administrative staff tended to my father’s everyday care and needs. The home is wonderfully furnished and finished to a very high spec. The highlight for my father is the food, which is cooked by the brilliant in-house chef. My father has always been rather fussy about his food, even more so when his health deteriorated, but here he’s been especially complimentary about the meals. The chef even baked the most delicious birthday cake for my father too. Thank you.
Thank you for writing this lovely review. We are very happy to hear how well your father has settled in to Cotswolds Rise and that he is enjoying the wonderful food prepared by our chefs and that he could celebrate his birthday with a homemade cake. We will pass on these kind words to the staff at Cotswolds Rise who will be really happy to hear this.

My name is Gemma and I am the Manager for Cotswolds Rise Care Home.
I have worked in residential care supporting older adults for the last 12 years; the values and ethos of Hartford Care resonate with me personally and professionally, and therefore I am thrilled to be a part of the Team.
I started my career in care as a Care Assistant and fell in love with supporting people and assisting residents living with dementia to live as fulfilled a life as possible. My strengths lie in creating a safe environment where residents and staff alike are valued, respected, and given opportunities to flourish.

I Joined Hartford Care in 2024 and look forward to welcoming you to Cotswolds Rise.
