I am delighted with the care home. The management and staff have cared for my aunt, have given her a smile with lots of care. They are a great bunch. Nothing is a bother and they are more like friends to her.

Overall Experience
Having viewed several homes, decided on Culduthel.
Ever since my Aunt moved in 'things' have steadily improved to the point they are in my opinion excellent.
The residents are all kept involved (as much as they can) and are treated with the utmost respect.
Any queries are attended to immediately.
The carers are just that - they genuinely do 'care' about the residents.

Overall the change since the takeover from previous owners is 100 per cent. Five stars.

Denise Scott
Denise ScottJob Title:Care Home Manager

We care passionately about our residents, staff and relatives at Culduthel. I am committed to developing a positive and caring home where people enjoy living and working.

I personally became passionate about caring for the elderly after moving to the Highlands when I was 19 to study nursing and midwifery. I went on to work as a staff nurse and in management with the NHS and the private sector.

We offer a variety of activities to suit resident’s tastes and needs at home. I want to ensure people can still enjoy their hobbies or make new ones, along with meeting new friends. Community outreach and local school engagement is also very important to what we offer.

We provide nutritious meals with great menu choices recommended by our chef and chosen by residents. All dietary requirements are looked after and there are six spacious lounge/dining areas so residents can choose where to enjoy their meals.

I want to ensure residents have fulfilled lives during their time at Culduthel; their well-being is my top priority.
