Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level
of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge.

an agreed hourly charge for this service.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Excellent care for my mum, with everything she needs to be provided. Everywhere is clean, tidy and well-maintained. A good range of social activities for those who want to take part, and chances for the residents to mix with others at meal times. I am so

My mother was only at Dashwood Manor =for the final five weeks of her life, but she was looked after with great care, kindness and professionalism by everyone there. At all levels of the staff - managers and care staff alike - there is a real sense of "the residents come first", and they certainly rose
to the challenge of helping me and my mother through those final sad weeks. The home is big and bright and modern, and offers a wide range of facilities and events - my mother was not really able to enjoy these, but clearly, for residents who go there in better health there is much to enjoy. I have seen a number of other care homes in recent years, but this is the best. I am most grateful.

Each staff member I have spoken to or seen at work is outstanding. For them, it is clear to see how passionate they are towards your company and the residents who they care for. There is no other care home that even came close to Care UK, which gives me comfort each time I come to visit.

My mum was here for two weeks respite with hopefully the option of full residency. My mother's dementia condition was too much for Dashwood to handle and when her two weeks respite was nearing its end we were told they couldn't let her stay as they could not meet her needs. We had a day's notice to
find emergency respite which I think is very poor and unfair.

We discussed alternatives by offering one-to-one care and support for your loved one until, as a family, you found an alternative home that could meet your mother’s complex care needs.

My father was only with Dashwood Manor for 4 months and sadly during that time he had a fall, but the love and care from the team were first-class. We visited 8 separate care homes in Basingstoke before settling on Dashwood Manor and I am so glad we did.
The team made the last few months of Dad's
life a pleasure and even when dealing with his end-of-life care actioned everything with dignity and compassion.
I cannot recommend the team highly enough. A huge thank you specifically to the staff for the nursing care and the staff for his day-to-day. And thank you to the staff and the entertainment team for doing just that.
The staff made the administration of his stay so easy and no job was ever too much for them. Finally, thanks to the two staff members for their smiling faces every time they greeted us at the door.
Sadly there will be people I have missed, but what a team! Please have no doubts about Dashwood Manor, their care is outstanding.

My aunt was in hospital after breaking her pelvis, she was unable to walk and very poorly. She lived 40 miles away and I was suddenly faced with being totally responsible for her care when the hospital wanted to discharge her. I walked into Dashwood Manor and my prayers were answered. I was met by some
very caring staff who showed me around and provided answers to all of my questions. They liaised with the hospital to take over every aspect of her care. The facilities are fantastic, more like a luxury hotel than a care home. The bedrooms are very thoughtfully and tastefully furnished and decorated. My aunt has received excellent nursing care and is so much improved following her arrival at the home. She is very happy, thoroughly enjoys her food and has transitioned from living in the same house for 90 years to life in Dashwood very successfully. Thank you, Care UK!

The staff all seem very attentive. Always willing to help if necessary. Sometimes need to keep her more occupied to stop her wandering about and disturbing other residents. Good at contacting us about things. Hopefully, the new medication will help with anxiety.

Mum has been a resident here for over six months now. We continue to be happy with the level of care she receives and therefore the quality of her life at Dashwood. We have all just attended a Jubilee party which was put on for the residents and their families - it was a great afternoon and was wonderful

My mother has been to Dashwood Manor Care Home for respite care on 2 occasions. It is a hard decision to make to place your Mum in the care of others but I needn't have worried. All the staff have the resident's and their families wellbeing at the forefront of everything they do. It has made the decision
to place her here as a permanent resident much easier as we know she will be well looked after by both the staff and the friends that she has made.

Dashwood Manor has made my mum feel comfortable, respected and most of all cared for and safe. For what has been a difficult year with Mum's needs changing significantly, the staff are so happy to take time to sit with you and go through any worries you have. As a relative, you feel they are there
for you as much as the person they are caring for. I will never be able to thank Dashwood Manor enough for the change that Mum being there has made to our lives.

Dashwood Manor is a beautiful care home where my husband is a resident. He is very happy there, and the staff are all exceptionally caring people and he is very well looked after. I feel very confident that he is in very good hands.
The home and gardens are beautifully maintained. Also, he enjoys the
meals provided.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Dashwood to anyone looking for a care home for their loved one

Job Title: Home Manager

I have worked at Care UK for several years, and I have always appreciated the company’s visions and values. Their desire to help residents continue living fulfilling lives aligned with my own values.


I joined Dashwood Manor after several years as Deputy Manager at another local home. I am looking forward to being a part of the already great team at Dashwood and continuing to offer exceptional care together.


Being in a managerial role within the home requires very good listening and communication skills. You also need passion and care for the residents and the team you work with.


Each day I enjoy getting out of my office and onto the units, having the opportunity to interact with residents, relatives and colleagues.


I am excited to continue to get to know all the residents and their wonderful families.
