The reception team were so warm and welcoming.
Even though it was a huge struggle for my mum, as she moved from her own home, therefore losing her independence. The staff were on hand to reassure her and they made sure she was listened too.
The staff are always keen to help, listen and care not only about my mum but they care about us to.
It is still early days for my mum but I know she will settle in wonderfully.
I cannot praise all staff highly enough, this is from housekeeping right up to the management team.
Thank you
Had a lovely lunch with mum and my son, stayed for couple of hours and had a good laugh.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We're delighted you, your mum, and your son enjoyed a relaxed lunch together and shared some laughter. It's wonderful to hear our home continues to be a welcoming place for shared family moments.
It is early days for us as a family at Elmbrook but we wouldn't have made it here without the amazing help and support of Sam. We are so pleased that we chose Elmbrook. The staff are all kind and compassionate and the whole family are cared for, not just the resident. Dad has his dignity back and the care is gentle and tailored to his needs. This experience has been in the first 10 days. We are looking forward to settling him in more and more over the coming weeks.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words about our care home. We are truly grateful for your feedback and delighted to hear you've had such a positive experience with us. Our team works hard to provide a safe, supportive and welcoming environment for every resident and it...
My first visit to Elmbrook to see a friend of 50 years. I thought I was in a top class hotel. I was greeted with by very friendly receptionist who was polite and respectful. I was met by happy and caring staff who couldn't have been more helpful. All in all first class. 10/10.
Thank you for such kind words. We truly appreciate your feedback. Our team works hard to provide a safe, comfortable and caring environment for all our residents. Your support inspires us to keep doing our best every day. Thank you once again for your trust and for being part of our community here at Elmbrook Court.
We had a family private dining experience for my mum's birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful and made it a very special occasion. Thank you!
We are so glad that we could make your mum's birthday special and thank you for your kind words. We're honoured to be part of such a special occasion.
From day 1 the staff from housekeeping upto management level have been incredible towards him & our family
Everybody is so friendly, welcoming & helpful. Nothing is too much for the team at Elmbrook & the entertainment & activities for residents & their families is second to none.
If I could rate this care home 10 stars it would be up thereWe definitely made the right decision for our father the care he receives is caring at its best
Thank you for this lovely review of our home. Since your dad has moved in with us we can all see how happy and settled he is. We understand how difficult it can be when it comes to having a loved one move into a care home, we try exceptionally hard to make that journey as easy as possible. Not only do we look after residents we look after families too.
We were not disappointed. The management within this home is exceptional. The staff are amazing, respectful and provide superb care for all the residents. They go above and beyond getting to know visiting family also, making each visit a pleasure. The reception staff are so welcoming and friendly, taking time to chat with you each time you enter the home.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It is an absolute pleasure to look after your dad, the whole team strive to make every resident's stay with us an exceptional one. Thank you for your support and involvement it truly makes a meaningful difference.
My mother moved in to Elmbrook Court at the end of November 2024. I cannot stress how grateful I am for the care which has been provided by the team. Nothing is too much trouble. Everyone is so supportive and welcoming. It has been a huge relief to know that my mother is looked after 24/7. The programme of activities is incredible and even my mother (who said she never wanted to join in) is loving them. Christmas was made particularly memorable. Communication from the team is timely and helpful. I can't rate Elmbrook highly enough.
Thank you for such kind words. Our team takes great pride in their work and giving residents the best experience possible. It is wonderful to see how your mother has settled into our home, made new friends and is enjoying herself here. Once again thank you.
All teams have been fabulous to deal with from the manager who was our initial contact to the floor managers and individual carers. Everyone is friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is lovely. It is always clean and the residents are all well cared for.
Thank you for your kind words. All our teams work extremely hard to give our residents the best experience possible. If our residents and their families are happy, we are happy. Thank you again.
My father was admitted to Elmbrook at the age of 101. He had been living alone since my mother died in 2016. After a couple of injuries it was decided he needed greater safeguarding. The care he is receiving is exemplary. Nothing is too much trouble. His room is very comfortable and the staff are all very friendly. Food is good and service is great.
Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your dad's experience with us. It's a privilege to care for him, and we're so pleased to hear that he feels comfortable and well looked after. Our team takes great pride in providing exemplary care, and it's wonderful to know that their kindness and...
Elmbrook have been fantastic since dad moved in two weeks ago. They were able to help us at very short notice due to an unexpected crisis and have managed the whole process smoothly, calmly and with compassion. They are providing the best possible care for dad who is a dementia patient, and we couldn't be happier with the way he's being looked after. All the staff are wonderful, and the facilities are like being in a high quality hotel! The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the food is lovely.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that your dad's move was smooth and that you've found our team to be calm and compassionate. It's fantastic to know you're pleased with our facilities, spacious rooms, and lovely food. Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we're...
My aunt is very pleased with the general facilities and her room, and as her niece, it is wonderful to see her being so well looked after and so comfortable. The staff are so welcoming from the minute you arrive at the front door, and everyone I have met working there is courteous and polite. The decor and fittings in the home are of a very high quality and give an overall feeling of comfortable luxury. The only thing she has mentioned is that she is mildly dissatisfied with the quality of the food, but that may well be down to her diminished appetite.
Thank you for your positive review of our home. All our teams work really hard to deliver top quality care for our residents, from care, to hospitality, to catering, to housekeeping, to maintenance - everybody plays a very important role in our care home. Once again thank you.
We had a lovely lunch with my mum, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, including my 3 young children, and the food was very tasty. Overall the home is a very nice, peaceful but cheerful space, and feels a bit like a smart but comfortable hotel.
Thank you so much for your review. Family is so important to us here at Elmbrook and we always try to make relatives and friends as welcome as possible.
Elmbrook is a wonderful care home. I have been visiting a friend here for almost a year now. It's inviting, and friendly and I have the warmest welcome each time I visit. The facilities are brilliant, the bistro is well equipped and is a lovely place to sit and chat. I love that there are daily activities, I see many residents taking part and it's a joy to see. I enjoy visiting on a weekly basis, not only to see my friend but the lovely staff who always say hello with a friendly face!
Thank you for your lovely review of our home. We always try to make relatives and friends of our residents feel as welcome as possible. They are always welcome to come and join in any activity we have going on in the home. We look forward to seeing you soon.
A very cheerful friendly and clean environment.
Thank you for your review, we always try to make our home as a welcoming and pleasant place as possible.
My mother came to Elmbrook Court for 4 weeks' respite care in August. She had been a little anxious about leaving her own home, but within a week she had decided that she wanted to stay permanently. Both she and I have found the staff very friendly and with a positive attitude and several visitors have noticed how happy my mother seems there. The home itself is bright and airy and feels more like a hotel than a care home.
Thank you so much for those kind words. Our whole team works extremely hard to provide the best experience for each and every resident we have living with us here at Elmbrook.
The care staff are amazing. Very modern and clean home. Everything is shining. I have a 5-star experience with Emlbrook and I would recommend it for sure. My relative feels safe, appreciated, cared for, and loved.
Thank you for your kind words. It means so much to us to know that everyone is recognised for all their hard work in taking care of our residents. Once again thank you.
My uncle came for a respite stay (little over two weeks). To say he had a great time is an understatement, he was made so welcome and loved his stay. It was the absolute best decision to bring him. After years of isolation, he came out of his shell. He was so anxious to travel to spend Easter at Elmbrook, but within minutes of arriving he was relaxed and settled. Within hours he felt at home. He can't wait to return in summer. This was because every single person at Elmbrook Court went above and beyond, they're not just professional, but caring and crucially compassionate. It's very obvious residents come first, they're treated with respect and care, it's clear they become like family to their residents. Everyone of the incredible team took time to spend with my uncle. Kindness is what makes this care home a cut above the rest, their incredible staff are testament to this amazing place many residents have no hesitation to call home, they're happy in the knowledge they're loved and safe. Just fab!
Thank you so much for your kind words. The whole team work extremely hard to give residents the best experience possible and it's good to know their efforts are recognised. Thank you again and we look forward to seeing your Uncle later in the year.
Had a family lunch in a private dining room. Excellent service - absolutely wonderful. And the food was great. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words. Our team here work extremely hard to give residents and their families the best experience possible. Once again thank you.
What a wonderful place! Visiting our friend with dementia, we found him beautifully taken care of, well-groomed and dressed, and assisted at every step by the warmest, kindest carers imaginable in a bright, spotless, airy environment. We couldn’t have wished for anything better.
Thank you for such kind words. Our team works so hard to give our residents the best experience possible and is delivered with dignity and respect.

I am the General Manager at Elmbrook Court, having joined Oakland Care in 2023 as Deputy Manager before progressing into my current role. My career in pharmacy and care began straight after leaving school, and supporting others has always been a true passion of mine. I am committed to delivering the highest standards of care, ensuring excellence for every resident, every day. Caring for and supporting my team is central to my role. I believe that when people feel valued and empowered, they can provide truly exceptional care.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family or relaxing with a good book and my two cats.

Ian joined Oakland Care in 2026, having worked extensively across multiple social care sectors. Ian has spent time with many of the country’s most well-regarded luxury senior care providers, both on a permanent basis and through contracting assignments. Having made the switch from running a successful property business to senior care, Ian has spent 18 years helping families ease the stress of their transition into care homes and coaching teams to do the same. He emphasises a deep level of understanding and empathy as the key drivers of success, believing that commercial success can only follow compassion and consideration.

After eight years in motor trade sales with organisations such as Jaguar Land Rover and Select Car Leasing, I discovered a real passion for working with people and building meaningful relationships. I’m excited to begin this new chapter at Elmbrook Court, where I can continue to grow both professionally and personally. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, exploring new places and spending time with my family. I look forward to being part of the Oakland Care and Elmbrook Court family.

I have over 19 years’ experience across hospitality and healthcare catering, I’m passionate about creating dining experiences that enhance comfort, enjoyment and wellbeing for our residents.
