Mum came to live at Maplewood Court after spending a month in hospital. In the 5 months mums has been here we have seen the most amazing transformation. She is very happy. Feels so well cared for and enjoys a fun and varied social life here. As for myself and my sister we feel fully support and uplifted
by the staff here too. It's like a 5 star hotel! Highly recommended!

The decision to move Mum into a care home was incredibly difficult but the moment we stepped into Elsyng we knew it was the right place. A year on, we've never looked back.

The home is warm and welcoming. The reception area has a beautifully decorated Bistro where residents and families can mix,

creating a genuine sense of community. We've made some meaningful friendships there. Mum lives on the Memory floor and the décor is tasteful and homely, especially in the lounges. Everywhere is spotless.

What truly makes Elsyng special is the staff. Mum's carers are compassionate and take a real interest in her. They chat with us about her routine and what she's been up to. All staff (from reception and hospitality to housekeeping and maintenance) are friendly, approachable, and caring. We enjoy following Elsyng's social media updates and love seeing Mum taking part in activities like trips to Forty Hall.

Thank you, Elsyng, for providing Mum with a safe, loving home where she can truly thrive.

I have been visiting my friend Don over the last 3 years. During that period I have been amazed at the attention and care all the residents receive each and every day. Special mention to Margaret on reception who makes all your visitors most welcome. Your care staff go more than above expectations and
do so with love and enthusiasm.

Turned up today to visit my friend who is a resident at the home. I was welcomed to the home by the reception team who offered refreshments on my arrival.
My friend then got brought down to me in the bistro area where we were both invited to join in with the quiz which was about to start in an adjoining
room.
To my amazement the quiz was really good fun and all the residents there were obviously having a really good afternoon and were waited on with nothing being too much trouble.
I then took my friend back up to his room which was a lovely room nice, bright, clean and fresh. Every member of staff who we passed in the corridor said hello and we were again asked if I would like any drinks or snacks from a lady with a really impressive tea trolly.
The visit to this home completely astonished me and my opinions on the card home industry.
Absolutely amazing place.

My darling mum has moved into Elsyng after a very long battle with Parkinson's. The Elsyng staff couldn't have made it easier they are so warm and welcoming. Special shout out to Camala who is Mums main carer as she has one to one and Jericho, Edwin and Angela who are all so supportive and kind. They
treat mum with dignity and respect. Camala is interested in our mum and takes time to listen to her and engage with her. She is so kind and supportive. All the staff are gentle which reassures me.

Our experience has been totally positive. Staff to staff-to-resident ratio is high. There is a great diversity of carers who all show kindness, love and interest. The food is homemade and excellent. The nursing staff are knowledgeable and experienced. The administration is not complicated, and it is
clear. The entertainment is relevant to the residents.

My mum came to Elsyng House for rehab after a serious fall that broke her spine and neck. From day one, the staff were incredibly kind, caring, and always greeted us with warm smiles. The home feels more like a 5-star hotel-cozy rooms, a beautiful garden, and thoughtful touches like teas, coffees, and
biscuits for visitors. Entertainment is offered for residents, and the staff clearly enjoy joining in too. The atmosphere is uplifting and full of compassion. Thanks to their care, my mum's stay was a positive experience during a tough time. She's now home, but we'll definitely be visiting again to see the lovely staff and friends she made. I can't thank Elsyng House enough, it's a shining example of what care should look like.

My father is a resident at Hastings Court. I have always been a bit dubious of care homes as they often have a bad reputation. However, Hastings Court far from exceeded our expectations!! I wouldn't really call it a care home, more of a hotel. Plush with extremely friendly and helpful staff who can't
do enough for their residents and visitors.
My father settled in extremely well and with all of the entertainment and activities on offer he often doesn't want to leave for a day out or is keen to get back when he does.
I can't recommend this care home enough. One which has won many awards and now I understand why.
It's never an easy decision to make when you decide a care home is needed for a relative but Hastings Court goes above and beyond on a daily basis and we are happy we chose well.
