My parents have resided in Hyllden Heights Care Home since March 2024. During that time, my wife and I have been thoroughly satisfied with the care. Many of the staff have gone the extra mile in each case to meet the individual needs of my parents. Certain staff members have built a strong connection
with my parents, and this is commendable. Hyllden Heights competes with the best - both in Tonbridge and further afield in terms of decor, facilities and a caring and committed staff.

Generally excellent, but please note the following:
1. Food is repetitive and many times below expectations.
2. Excellent coffee machine replaced simply because it was a 'group/management' decision.
3. Despite many requests, I am not receiving all emails (being sent to my wife instead) - please update
all systems to ensure I receive all emails.

Osbern Manor Care Home

Our dear father was a resident of Osbern Manor during 2025. He moved from another care home, sadly for just a few months. However, we cannot speak highly enough about the level of care he received whilst there. He wasn't always easy, due to the stage of dementia. But staff were always very attentive
and extremely patient. He was always treated with the utmost dignity and respect. The staff responsible for his direct personal care always had time to update us on anything going on, good or bad. There was a lot of compassion and support for relatives. We had access to an app, so you could access daily updates about care/medical issues. It was great, as if you could not see managers directly you could get updates. We felt very relaxed and the worrying was far less than it had been previously. When the sad time came, they made him so comfortable and his passing was very peaceful. I would not hesitate in recommending Osbern Manor to anyone looking for an extremely warm and professional home.

My mother joined Birchwood Heights in April this year. During our initial visits we received an amazing warm and professional welcome from the staff and residents. The day to day reality has been exactly that staff are kind and caring, going the extra mile to ensure all Mum's needs are met with compassion
and good humour. As her family we have been welcomed, supported and kept informed.
We highly recommend Birchwood Heights.

Hyllden Heights

from Thomas Duncan I (Resident) published on 14 January 2026

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I have been a resident at Hyllden Heights Care Home for over two years now and I was aware from the beginning that it was, by far, the best Home I have been in .(I have been in three). At the end of October 2025 I had the misfortune to fall and break my femur. After the hip operation I was bed -bound
and required to do excruciating exercises. The Carers and Activities staff rallied round to give me every assistance to get me back on my feet again. Part way through my recovery I got a severe lung infection and was on the point of losing the zest for living. (I should point out that I am 96 years old.)
The Unit Manager CJ gave me a severe lecture on how this attitude was unacceptable and immediately summoned medical assistance. I was constantly monitored and given the care and attention that left me humbled and eternally grateful.
I am now well on my way to recovery. The age-old advice"Love one another" sums up my feelings for the staff at Hyllden Heights.

My aunt moved to Hyllden Heights in January 2024 - she was 96 and rather frail after bouts of Covid followed by pneumonia. The care she received then and since has been wonderful, professional yet kind and understanding. Her room is very comfortable as are the lounge and the bistro where we can sit
and have refreshments and a chat - the staff are always welcoming to visitors as well as caring towards residents.

From the moment my mum arrived the attention she received was impeccable. SHe was welcomed by all the staff. They introduced themselves and made her feel so comfortable. Our questions were answered quickly with kindness and compassion. She was cared for so well, checked on regularly and looked after
meticulously. She was able to keep her pride and dignity despite being so unwell and unable to care for herself. We could not have wished for mum to spend her final days in a lovelier comfortable home. We cant thank everyone at Lambwood Heights enough.

My dad has been in the care home for over four years. From the beginning, he settled in very quickly, mainly due to the friendly staff. He has always been treated with dignity and respect. The staff are lovely and always make time to chat to him. The care home is always clean and tidy and the facilities
are good, e.g. the bistro, hairdresser, etc. For myself and my siblings it is like a second home.

Walking into Beechwood Grove is like walking into a friends house, you are welcomed with a friendly greeting and a smile from everyone you meet regardless of their role in the home. Hot drinks and snacks are available if needed in a sociable meeting area. There are many activities planned for the residents
to suit a wide variety of tastes and needs. The property is brilliantly maintained, regularly redecorated and the staff work tirelessly to keep everything spotless. The home has also adopted many green issues, like solar panels, recently. There are regular opportunities for both the residents and families and friends to attend meetings to find out what has happened and is planned for the future. Truly a great place where my mother is treated extremely well. Well done Beechwood Grove.

Hastings Court was my aunt's final and most definitely the most luxurious home she had. The care, the love, the kindness she received was just superb. As her niece, I was also very well cared for and carers, nurses, everyone were so kind. My only regret was that she wasn't at Hastings Court earlier.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

The staff and the management were all so amazing, supportive, patient and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for my dad or any of his visitors.

The wholebhome and the rooms were so warm and welcoming and everything we needed was easily available

and again no trouble.

All my dads visitors said if this was where they would live eventually sign them up now!!

As above everyone was amazing but a special thanks to Neal for arranging everything, Gabriela for the amazing care, as if my dad was her only resident and Eugene for the constant smiles and helpfulness.

I couldn't recommended Osbern Manor highly enough.
