I would recommend this care home to anyone looking for a supportive and caring place for a family member.

Dad stayed in respite at Beechwood Grove to recover from two major health episodes. It was recommended to us by others who had stayed there to convalesce and one family whose relative lives there. They treat my Dad with the utmost care and dignity at all times and kept me informed every step of the way via a personal health app and calls too. Nothing was too much trouble and I know my Dad felt very looked after and safe there during a really vulnerable time for him. It is run very professionally and efficiently by a great team of staff and my Dad enjoyed his stay and meals there.

Woodland Grove is an exceptionally well run care/nursing home. My partner has been a resident for nine years. The staff are wonderful and go the extra mile - they have empathy with the residents relations also. I am hoping the high standards achieved at Woodland Grove with personal care, medical care and entertainment will be continued by the new owners in the future.

Overall, Obern Manor made a wonderful impression, and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for high-quality care in a friendly and welcoming setting.

Harpenden Springs is a wonderful welcoming environment. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The meals and the service of them cannot be faulted. The food is so well presented. The rooms are excellent. My father is incredibly well cared for leaving me worry free about his well being. A complete contrast to a care home he went to initially after leaving hospital. Care here is on another level.

I came to Hastings Court for 2 weeks, following a spell in hospital which co-incided with my wife's major operation for cancer. Hastings Court was very comfortable, and all the staff were friendly and efficient. Sadly, many of the residents suffered from dementia, so there was little conversation at mealtimes. All the afternoon entertainments were enjoyable, and the food was excellent (although I would have preferred an evening meal a little later than 4-30!) Altogether a very pleasant and comfortable stay!

The care home is very clean smells fresh just the place you would call home. The staff were pleasant always smiling. I will Recommend.

Very impressed with Hastings Court Care Home. A friend was in for respite and pain management for a short time. The staff were incredible, all very kind and super helpful, obtaining a full medication review from his GP. It was great to see the way they include all levels of residents in activities. A massive thanks to all. Will definately use again and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I am so impressed with Hastings Court Care Home. Absolutely overwhelmed by the love and care my Uncle John received during his time here, The Staff including Sarah & Sam in the office, Paula reception, Bettie & Nurse Aurora. My Uncle died with respect and dignity. Thank You.

All the staff from nursing to caring to administrative were empathetic, friendly and endlessly helpful. Mum was well cared for in the twelve weeks she was there. The staff took the time to talk to and get to know her.

My cousin has been resident at Hastings Court since 4 August 2026 & receives excellent care. I visit daily when I am in the area & am always impressed by the level of service for residents and visitors.

My dear friend has spent past 3 1/2 years in your wonderful care home on palliative care. From the wonderful Mgr Sally Anne through to reception and all wonderful staff we encountered. An ethos of care, kindness, respect and going the extra mile. Directly was translated into everyday acts. We cannot speak highly enough of our experience as daily visitors. Thank you.

Our mum stayed at Woodland Grove for 2 weeks respite in August 2026 so that my sister and I could have a break. My mum has Alzheimer's but not advanced enough that she needs assistance with everything so the wonderful Gloria, who showed us around, said our mum could be cared for on the ground floor of Woodland Grove which is less intensive care and what we thought would be most appropriate for mum. It's a beautiful care home, it does feel homely but also more like a hotel than a care home. The staff are all wonderful, from Fiona, the Client Relations Manager, to Gloria, to Sharon on Reception, and everyone in between, they were all amazing. They were so friendly, so kind, so helpful and it meant we could finally switch off and know our mum was in the best hands. Mum missed us of course but she had everything she needed, lots of company, great food and she even missed it when we brought her home. For any carers or potential residents out there, we can't recommend it highly enough.

Hastings Court offered my client the best care that could be afforded to him. The client was a lovely gentleman and was incredibly vulnerable. I was his attorney and asked Hastings Court to look after him for respite and then end of life care. The care home is lovely and sunny, the staff were supportive and kind and responsive and above all caring. The level of empathy they showed to this gentleman who had no one else in his life was astonishing. I cannot thank them enough for showing such warmth and humanity to someone who was so alone. Thank you all for you exceptional kindness.

It's early days and we do not expect her condition to improve. There will be difficult times ahead as must be expected with her illness but to get her settled somewhere safe is a great relief.

From the moment you walk into Hastings Court you are greeted with kindness and smiles. The whole home is super clean and well looked after. Facilities are fabulous and the meals are top quality. I am so pleased my uncle is here being so well cared for and every member of staff should be proud of the care and support they give.

My mother moved to Harpenden Springs late August 2026 and she has had a great first month. She has settled in really well with the help of the staff and the management team.

The staff are lovely and friendly and the facilities and spaces are wonderful.

My mum has thrived at Harpenden Springs over the last few weeks and is very happy there.
