Overall Experience

I have been visiting my friend Dorothy, known as Twiggy by her friends/family for the past 18 months - since she arrived at Woodland Grove I couldn't wish for her to be in a better environment with wonderful staff, full of empathy for residents, lovely surrounding and good wholesome food as well as

activities for residents to participate in if they wish. She is a wonderful lady and I thank you all for being there for her every need.

Overall Experience

When me and the family decided that the best way forward for my wife was for her to go into a care home it was a traumatic time for everyone.
However, from the initial viewing to the warmth given by the reception team and onwards we have nothing but praise for Lambwood Heights. The accommodation is

of a high standard, it is spotlessly clean throughout, and staff are friendly and professional. All of this coupled with the various events that are organised and the amenities on hand we feel sure we made the right decision for my wife, most of all she seems happy and well cared for in her new surroundings.

Overall Experience

I was shown around the home and was impressed with the environment immediately.
All my questions were answered in full. I saw numerous staff around the home and everyone was extremely friendly. The home is very clean, bright and welcoming. The rooms are lovely and spacious. Nothing was too much trouble

the day my mother became a resident. Furniture was moved to accommodate her needs. As a family we were made very welcome to stay as long as we wished to enable our mother to settle in. Our mother has had a few problems since moving in but everyone went above and beyond to assist her. We are very satisfied with all aspects of the home.

Overall Experience

We had an excellent experience with Lambwood Heights from start to finish. My main contact was a member of staff who was a pleasure to deal with and very efficient and helpful. Arranging the respite care for my Dad was smooth and dealt with quickly and professionally. He was picked up on time and welcomed

by the member of staff who settled him in and showed him around.
The quality of the facilities is excellent, the food was very good and my Dad's room was airy and comfortable. My Dad's partner and our nephews who visited all thought the home was marvellous. It was easy to contact my Dad too so we could stay in touch.
Thanks so much to all at Lambwood for making my Dad's stay so comfortable - we were all able to relax knowing he was being well looked after.

Lambwood Heights took my father in after a lengthy stay in hospital. I cannot fault the care and attention he received whilst here. Even though it was a short stay, I cannot have higher praise for the home and staff.

Overall Experience

I have always said I would never put my Mum into care. The time came and I had no choice but to do this, the control was taken out of my hands. I felt hopeless, I had viewed many care homes and it was making my decision even harder. I came to view Lambwood heights. From the minute I walked in the door

I was greeted by happy faces from the staff and most importantly the residents. This immediately put me mind at ease. Every single member of staff had a smile on their face and greeted me. The staff member was very knowledgeable and could answer any question I had.
The facilities were amazing the place was fresh and clean and I immediately felt at peace with my decision and comfortable.
Mum had arrived and settled in so quickly after spending 4 months in hospital. Thanks to the amazing staff showing love care and understanding. The activities are excellent they always go above and beyond.I cannot thank the staff enough for supporting, caring and bringing out the best in my Mum

I cannot recommend Lambwood Heights highly enough.
My father received nursing care on Cherry Mews unit and was always shown kindness, patience and compassion. Staff are so supportive and caring to both residents and family members.
Lambwood Heights is an immaculate environment, visiting family members

all commented on the beautifully decorated rooms and lounges.
Lambwood staff supported us throughout my fathers stay, they are all truly amazing people who we will never forget, I would recommend this wonderful Care Home to anyone that is considering care or nursing care for a family member.

Overall Experience

I had heard of the high standards of Lambwood Heights and when my friend asked which home she should go to, I had no hesitation in recommending it.
On my first visit, it was obvious that the home is well run, clean and the residents well looked after.
My friend had nursing needs and she was so very

well attended to and looked after in Cherry (second floor).
A big thank you to all the staff at the home at all levels. The atmosphere is friendly and caring. It's like an extended family.

Overall Experience

My husband is a relatively new resident and the family were worried about him accepting the situation and settling in. We have been surprised that he has done both which is a huge relief. We are greatly encouraged by the kindness and respect shown to him as he suffers from Parkinsons and Dementia. The

staff genuinely care about his welfare and have also supported me through this difficult transition. I feel confident leaving him in their care as they are an outstanding team.

We have been using the home for a few years. First to see my sister in law who sadly passed last year. Now we visit our brother-in-law whenever we can. We find the staff very friendly and also the residents.

Staff was very welcoming at the reception desk and the carers dealt with my Gran in a way that made me feel at ease, everyone has a smile on their face!

The furniture and the warm interior design makes it very homely and accommodating for both resident and patients.

Overall Experience

My husband is a relatively new resident but you cannot but be impressed with the care he receives. The staff are kind, thoughtful and caring and extremely patient. He is taking a while to settle but with their help I feel it will be achieved. In this review I particularly want to mention the Activities

Staff. The joy they bring most afternoons is exceptional.
No way could he be described as a foodie! However, he tells me the food is good and he has no complaints at all.
They have enabled him to have care staff which best suit his needs and this had a profound effect on his daily routine and confidence.
I am advised not to mention particular staff in writing this review so I just want to say that they listen to him and me and make adjustments where necessary and possible. With their encouragement he has also taken advantage of the visits they make in their mini bus and the small group outing is helping break the transition.

Excellent care staff. The hairdresser is wonderful and lifts my spirits, magical lady. Staff are amazing, the receptionist is so helpful and charming, three other members of staff are brilliant too - nothing is too much trouble. I would like to thank the cleaner too for all her hard work + smiles.

Overall Experience

Both mum and dad have been at Lambwood Heights Care Home for a year now. The care has been excellent and their medical requirements have been carefully monitored. The staff are very caring, friendly and helpful. There are plenty of activities to keep them entertained. At the end of last year mum and

dad celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary, and the home provided a lovely party for them and their family, which was impressive particularly as it was on Christmas Eve. Mum suffers from Alzheimer and dementia and dad from Parkinsons. We have been lucky to keep them both together. Unfortunately we lost dad at the beginning of the year. This was handled with sensitivity and respect. We have the comfort of knowing that he was well looked after to the end and mum will continue to be so.
