Overall not very satisfactory. The home is very slow to respond to email requests. Does not proactively communicate and at times has been unhelpful in the care of our mum, e.g. 1) We can't currently move her into a wheelchair because all the staff are on a break. 2) It took a month to repair her TV.

My Dad stayed for 4 weeks respite care to improve his mobility, better control blood sugar, and for comfort and peace of mind while my family was abroad on a holiday.

Overall we were very pleased with the service provided in all areas.

My mum has stayed at Lambwood Heights twice now as a Respite Care Resident. It has really put my mind at rest knowing that she is safe and being cared for with such kindness, understanding patience and tolerance. She really relaxes when she stays there and it's testament to all the staff that she feels comfortable, safe, happy and 'at home' enough to be herself and enjoy herself! Her en-suite room on Beech floor is lovely and there is an atmosphere of warmth and respect which is natural but also proactively fostered. All the facilities are beautifully kept. The variety and quality of the daily activity programme also needs a mention, as it really brought mum 'out of herself' & to be able to do them together was lovely! She fully embraced yoga, chair exercises, board games and even won a round of boules -she was so proud! The staffs professional expertise and 'empathetic loveliness' with mum and me has been exemplary. We feel very lucky and grateful to have found Lambwood Heights

Stayed at Lambwood Heights for 2 weeks after having a replacement knee operation. Found the staff and general manager very friendly, helpful and lovely to deal with. I have revisited the home twice since leaving to see another lady I became friends with and each time have been greeted with a very friendly warm atmosphere. I was only there two weeks but feel as if I had a connection with the place.

I feel calmed and welcomed at this place all the carers are so nice it is like a house but with amazing people this place is so beautiful love it! Thank you for taking care of my dad you guys are the best!

Although my wife Barbara Wilcox has been bed bound for some time, I visit every day and find the staff are consistently courteous and caring with only the residents needs and comforts in mind. Our two children also feel that that this the best place for their Mum to be.

My grandmother stayed at Lambwood Heights for two and a half years while living with dementia, and we are incredibly grateful for the care she received during her time there. The whole team provided such kind, compassionate, and high-quality support, not only to my grandmother but also to us as a family.

She had a wonderful routine, enjoyed her time in the home, and we always felt comfortable and welcome when spending time with her in that environment. The decor of the home is lovely and welcoming, which made visiting even more comforting, and the food was good with plenty of vegetarian options available.

Every member of staff, from housekeeping and lifestyle to the kitchen staff and carers was fantastic, hardworking, and genuinely caring. The management team were also exceptional, always supportive, understanding, and reassuring to us as a family throughout her stay. Their dedication made a very difficult time much easier for all of us.

From the moment my mum arrived the attention she received was impeccable. SHe was welcomed by all the staff. They introduced themselves and made her feel so comfortable. Our questions were answered quickly with kindness and compassion. She was cared for so well, checked on regularly and looked after meticulously. She was able to keep her pride and dignity despite being so unwell and unable to care for herself. We could not have wished for mum to spend her final days in a lovelier comfortable home. We cant thank everyone at Lambwood Heights enough.

Absolutely fantastic.

Our resident moved here from a more expensive care home in the same area. The difference we have all experienced is marked. Woodland Grove is immediately a more welcoming environment - airy, well designed and altogether more lively. We have been impressed with the care staff and management who evidence a 'can do' approach. The range of activities offered is impressive. Our resident particularly relishes the tranquil greenery surrounding the home with a lovely reading area under the trees. We are all glad that we moved home.

I visit on a regular basis (min weekly) and find it to be cosy and the staff attentive and supportive. Meredith the receptionist is also so approachable.

The team on the first floor are exceptional. They are caring, attentive and cheerful. They always make sure dad is comfortable and remember the little details that are important to dad, like his music. They are all kind, and you can see how well they work as a team. Thank you all so much!

The staff in all areas was excellent could not be faulted.

We are very impressed with the home - every aspect seems to be going well, the place is well run, and - most important - the staff all seem happy and go out of their way to help however they can. They've even fixed the wifi after a recent request so my dad can watch iPlayer.

I have been visiting my friend Dorothy, known as Twiggy by her friends/family for the past 18 months - since she arrived at Woodland Grove I couldn't wish for her to be in a better environment with wonderful staff, full of empathy for residents, lovely surrounding and good wholesome food as well as activities for residents to participate in if they wish. She is a wonderful lady and I thank you all for being there for her every need.

Words to describe Lambwood; AMAZING, Like No Other, Very Compassionate, Extremely Patient, Friendly, Home from Home, Excellent! These are just a few we have picked :))) Sally Ann and all the team are really amazing especially when we really needed there help and we didn't have a clue how to start this process. The staff here make this place what it is: a warm friendly caring environment. My mother has been here coming up to a year now, and is looked after well. The staff are kind and understanding and supportive.
