Very quick healthcare response, and monitoring of my mum's condition which was then checked by the doctor and medication provided. The healthcare team provide a very personalised service, and take any issue seriously and promptly. Very happy with the care my mum receives.

My mother in law moved here in 2025. I can't believe the change in her, she is happier, more alert and healthy.
We as a family are so happy, with all the staff, who are welcoming. The home is very clean, and facilities excellent.
The activities are great & I know she enjoys them

My parents have resided in Hyllden Heights Care Home since March 2024. During that time, my wife and I have been thoroughly satisfied with the care. Many of the staff have gone the extra mile in each case to meet the individual needs of my parents. Certain staff members have built a strong connection
with my parents, and this is commendable. Hyllden Heights competes with the best - both in Tonbridge and further afield in terms of decor, facilities and a caring and committed staff.

Generally excellent, but please note the following:
1. Food is repetitive and many times below expectations.
2. Excellent coffee machine replaced simply because it was a 'group/management' decision.
3. Despite many requests, I am not receiving all emails (being sent to my wife instead) - please update
all systems to ensure I receive all emails.

Our dear father was a resident of Osbern Manor during 2025. He moved from another care home, sadly for just a few months. However, we cannot speak highly enough about the level of care he received whilst there. He wasn't always easy, due to the stage of dementia. But staff were always very attentive
and extremely patient. He was always treated with the utmost dignity and respect. The staff responsible for his direct personal care always had time to update us on anything going on, good or bad. There was a lot of compassion and support for relatives. We had access to an app, so you could access daily updates about care/medical issues. It was great, as if you could not see managers directly you could get updates. We felt very relaxed and the worrying was far less than it had been previously. When the sad time came, they made him so comfortable and his passing was very peaceful. I would not hesitate in recommending Osbern Manor to anyone looking for an extremely warm and professional home.

My mother joined Birchwood Heights in April this year. During our initial visits we received an amazing warm and professional welcome from the staff and residents. The day to day reality has been exactly that staff are kind and caring, going the extra mile to ensure all Mum's needs are met with compassion
and good humour. As her family we have been welcomed, supported and kept informed.
We highly recommend Birchwood Heights.

Hyllden Heights

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I have been a resident at Hyllden Heights Care Home for over two years now and I was aware from the beginning that it was, by far, the best Home I have been in .(I have been in three). At the end of October 2025 I had the misfortune to fall and break my femur. After the hip operation I was bed -bound
and required to do excruciating exercises. The Carers and Activities staff rallied round to give me every assistance to get me back on my feet again. Part way through my recovery I got a severe lung infection and was on the point of losing the zest for living. (I should point out that I am 96 years old.)
The Unit Manager CJ gave me a severe lecture on how this attitude was unacceptable and immediately summoned medical assistance. I was constantly monitored and given the care and attention that left me humbled and eternally grateful.
I am now well on my way to recovery. The age-old advice"Love one another" sums up my feelings for the staff at Hyllden Heights.

My aunt moved to Hyllden Heights in January 2024 - she was 96 and rather frail after bouts of Covid followed by pneumonia. The care she received then and since has been wonderful, professional yet kind and understanding. Her room is very comfortable as are the lounge and the bistro where we can sit
and have refreshments and a chat - the staff are always welcoming to visitors as well as caring towards residents.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

The staff and the management were all so amazing, supportive, patient and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for my dad or any of his visitors.

The wholebhome and the rooms were so warm and welcoming and everything we needed was easily available

and again no trouble.

All my dads visitors said if this was where they would live eventually sign them up now!!

As above everyone was amazing but a special thanks to Neal for arranging everything, Gabriela for the amazing care, as if my dad was her only resident and Eugene for the constant smiles and helpfulness.

I couldn't recommended Osbern Manor highly enough.

It's been a week now since Mum's passing and with all the arrangements to organise, I have only just found the time to write to you.
I just wanted to say how very grateful we all are for the amazing care *** received in her last few days and throughout her time at Maplewood Court. Your staff are all
wonderful, caring people who do the most amazing job everyday to enrich the lives of our elderly relatives.
In her final hours, despite *** being asleep and unaware of what was happening, your staff still made sure she was clean, cared for, comfortable and out of pain.
Her last few days were quiet and serene and full of love, with visiting staff checking in on her medically, or just popping in to talk to her.
*** was a big personality as we know and she would have loved all the attention she received from everyone, with whom she had genuine fond connections.

We have nothing but praise for Osbern Manor. Our darling Mum has been a resident since it opened. The staff are wonderful with her and treat her as if she was their own relative. She became very poorly suddenly in February so much so that they called us in as we thought it was the end, the staff
were so caring not only to Mum but also to us listening to our wishes and some members of staff staying late to support us with hugs and endless cups of tea and genuine thoughtfulness and care. Many of members of staff that were not carers, popped up to see how she was and to ensure that we had all we needed. Mum pulled through and thankfully and she is as well as she can be.
Thank you Osbern, you are wonderful x

My Uncle who is 96 years old moved into Osbern Manor on 22nd September 2025 from a different care home ( duration of 10 months 3weeks). His words were this "home blows the other one out the park ." . Modern up to date requirements making his life easier . A proper dining experience with menu and service
. For my Uncle it is being with residents that have full capacity and good staff organisation that has made a difference.. Thank you Osbern Manor ( Oakland Care ) .

Mum was a resident at Maplewood Court from early January 25 following a fall at home in late 2024. From the moment we viewed the home with Michael, having looked at so many care homes to find the perfect one for mum, we knew straight away this was the place for mum, her new home. There was no pressure
to choose the home, with every member of staff we met walking round you could feel their passion and why we chose Maplewood Court. This showed from day one of mum arriving, the staff were brilliant, they helped settle mum, and after very little time mum engaged with residents, took part in the activities they put on in the home which shocked us knowing mum, and she settled so well. Mum sadly passed just a few days ago in their care, but knowing mum had the best care throughout, that she was honestly loved by staff, this shown with their emotion we witnessed. Every resident to them is so important. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. You cannot ask for more.

My father moved into Hyllden Heights in March after a severe stroke. The care he received was amazing. From the minute he arrived he was treated with tremendous kindness, much dignity and great respect by all. He was there 3 months and the care he received was second to none. My mother joined him for
respite care for a month and Dad passed away within the first week. Everyone was so kind, gentle and sensitive to mum and they have supported her so well. I honestly cannot recommend this home highly enough. I am so thankful that Dad was able to spend his last 3 months here and for the care and love he was shown from all. From the lovely, friendly and highly efficient welcoming team to the incredible team of carers and nursing staff that tended so lovingly to both Mum and Dad. Not forgetting other staff who looked after them so well too. I will always be so grateful to everyone for being there for us all at such a difficult time. Mum has now moved in and is being excellently care for too.

My mother spent her last 39 days in room 17 at Maplewood Court. She settled well and loved her room, it became a haven of safety and care for her and for me. From managers, reception staff and nurses and carers, everyone gave mum tender and totally committed care and attention. We couldn't have asked
for more at the end of her life. Her passing was comfortable, peaceful and respectful. A heartfelt thankyou from me
