I have been visiting Hastings Court for some time now and the care and attention given to all their residents are exemplary. Every member of staff is cheerful and no request appears to be too much trouble and is delivered with a smile.
On entering the home I have always been greeted warmly and feel
my friends are in the best place to be looked after.

This is a truly outstanding home. Having dealt with two other care homes and also an in home care firm previously, Hastings Court knocks socks off them. It is very clear that they are there to provide what they advertise, unlike previous people we have dealt with and that is priceless. We have two family
friends as residents and the peace of mind is immense. We know that they are getting all the care they need and the staff could not be nicer. They go above and beyond. I cannot recommend Hastings Court highly enough. If you want your loved ones to be given the care and attention they deserve then look no further.

We are delighted with the care at Hastings Court. The staff are all cheerful, friendly, positive and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. My mother recently celebrated her 98th birthday and we had a small family tea party. We had exclusive use of the entertainment room for this. It was beautifully
prepared with cloths, place settings, flowers, balloons, and full afternoon tea. There was a cake with mum's name on it and we could stay as long as we liked! Thanks especially to three members of the team for this. Mum has improved since coming here.

My mother was made welcome from the moment she arrived. Whilst her health was deteriorating rapidly, the staff made every effort to keep her comfortable. Although her stay at Hastings Court was only a short one. I cannot fault the care and attention of the staff, right up to her passing.

Hastings Court offered wonderful care to Gran for the last seven years of her life. Living with dementia, her memory was limited but she still wanted to have a purpose in life. She was supported to play her role in the home, often helping to serve refreshments, folding towels and sporting her own 'trolley
dolly' badge in recognition of her stints on the sweet trolley! Gran lived a great life at Hastings Court, making friends and being actively involved in all the many social activities. She felt safe, valued and loved.
In her final days, the wonderful staff supported us as her family as much as they did Gran, showing care and ensuring she lived those final days with dignity. The care extended from staff in the hospitality and facilities teams, as much as it did from care and nursing staff. Thank you so much.

If only my uncle had come to live here earlier his life would have been so much better. I can't believe a care home can be so beautiful with fabulous, thoughtful, kind staff. It feels like a family to him and myself.

The staff at Hastings Court clearly all are valued and they have a real can-do team spirit. The way everyone helped my mum when she arrived was phenomenal and so appreciated by our family, they made her feel very special and the day went so well with everyone making her feel very welcome and loved.
Above and beyond is how I would describe the staff's care.

From the moment I first contacted Hastings Court everything about the experience of finding a care home for my mum was excellent.
The dementia floor staff are amazing with my mum. She is certainly in the best hands possible. I have no need to worry about her anymore. First class in every way!

My mother and father-in-law have just moved into Hastings Court and they have been very happy with how they have been handled. All the staff are caring for both of them. They have been taken out for the day, which never happened in their previous home. I can’t praise the team highly enough. The entertainment
staff always get them together and include them in everything they can. Top marks from me.

Mum has been in 2 other care homes, Dad has been in 4. This is the best care home by far! I have been to many local care homes in a quest to find the best for my parents and I have now found it and am so happy with the care they are receiving. The staff are all so friendly, caring and helpful and all
work together as a team. There are so many lovely activities for them to join in and they are the happiest I’ve seen them in a very long time. Well done Hastings Court, keep up the good work!

My mother was a resident of Hastings Court. Our family highly recommends the care home. It was a wonderful experience for Mum to be given first-class care until she passed away. The staff are genuinely caring, respected Mum and showered here with physical and emotional care. The nursing care was exemplary.
The room was clean and well equipped and the entire home was first-class. We are grateful she ended her days in such a caring environment and thankful for the support we were given as her family.

My first job in the care sector started 30 years ago and despite exploring other career choices I have always returned to doing what I love the most. I have been part of the Hastings Court family since 2015 and I feel extremely proud to be a member of the management team in such a fabulous home.


I feel incredibly passionate about our residents receiving the best possible care during their time with us and all of our team members go above and beyond every day to ensure that this happens.


Seeing our residents doing the things that they love is such a treat for us all, from days out fishing, trips to the theatre or just a walk around the Old Town browsing through the antique shops, it’s sometimes the little things that count the most.

I started at Hastings Court in 2015. Before this, I worked in a small charity-run home for adults with learning disabilities for eight years. I started as a part-time Care Assistant whilst at college to study for my level 5 in Health and Social Care. I have progressed from Care Assistant to Team Leader, then Community Lead, and I am now deputy manager at Hastings Court. I love my job at Hastings Court. I enjoy the daily interaction I have with residents and staff. I feel proud to be able to support the team in helping them achieve their goals and create the best environment for our residents to live in. In my spare time, I play netball and love watching my son play football.
