Moving from a family home to a care home was a difficult but necessary decision and we consider ourselves very fortunate to have Elmbrook Court Care Home on our doorstep.

I had the potentially difficult job of finding a new home for my elderly Mum suffering from dementia and arranging the move. After a little searching, I discovered Elmbrook Court. Having now been there it is a lovely place - clean modern and spacious. From beginning to end the whole transition was most professionally and caringly managed. The team coordinated by the Head of Client and Resident Experience arranged the transport, Covid testing, and supplies of medication. On arrival the staff were fantastic, laying on a real welcome, and getting Mum settled in right away. Within an hour Mum was chatting and smiling and drinking coffee and tucking into biscuits and a baked potato. Nothing seemed too much trouble. I had approached this with some trepidation given Mum's condition, and resistance to change. But in the end, everything ran as smooth as clockwork, and a potentially stressful situation became a pleasurable one. Many thanks to the team. Ratings are based on preliminary views.
