Hi, my name is Lance Bosmans, I am the Group Commissioning / Home Manager here at the Goldsborough Manor, Initially, I trained in the hospitality industry as a General Manager of 4/5-star hotels in and around the southeast of England. I have worked in care and support for almost 19 years. Starting in Extra Care retirement villages and moving into premier care homes for large corporate companies.

I am privileged to have been working for Crown Care Group for nearly 4 years, we are a family-owned and operated business who are really passionate about the care and support we deliver to our residents. I have always strived to deliver a world-class service to the residents and staff within my care, ensuring they feel secure and well cared for in our beautiful care home in Strensall. In my previous life, I worked in the hospitality industry as a General Manager of Pubs & Restaurants in London. I am also a qualified Chef and a Men's Barber.

Hi, I'm Helen the Business Administrator for Goldsborough Manor. I am new to Care but worked in administration for the past 15 years. I ensure the smooth running of the home's business activities, including admissions, HR and assisting the team. I am excited to be part of a dynamic team who are thoughtful and caring of others.

Hi, I'm Petra and I am the Second Chef at Goldsborough Manor. I have been in the catering industry for over 30 years. I have a passion for nutrition and well-being and spent many years training and developing my skills. I am new to the care industry and applying my knowledge and skills to enhance the resident's lives.

Hi, I'm Nadine and I am the Hospitality manager at Goldsborough Manor. I am new to the Care Sector and I started at Crown Care in October. My previous role was a Hospitality Manager of a Monastery in the Heart of North Yorkshire where I opened and operated the Tea Room and the Visitors centre. I have always been in the Hotel Industry working my way up to where I am today.

I have worked in the Care industry for more than 25 years. Most of that time has been involved with activities and the social aspect of delivery care.

I absolutely love my job, and getting to know my residents. Developing person-centred activities and events is what I enjoy most and I am looking forward to doing this at Goldsborough Manor.

My name is Helen, and I am a Senior Carer at Goldsborough Manor. I have worked in care for 33 years. I have also looked after my Parents and Grandparents growing up, so I always knew I wanted to do care.

I have an End of Life care level 2 certificate and Health & Social care level 2 and 3 certificates. In 2019, I won the Regional British Carer Award, which I didn't expect to win as my care wasn't noticed and was a shock to me. I am very loving and passionate in the care I provide. I like to go above and beyond looking after people who I care for and caring for them like I would care for my family at home. In the future, I would like to progress higher and continue what I do in my career.

My name is Leah, and I am a Unit Manager at Goldsborough Manor. I have worked in dementia care for the past 8 years. I have a real passion for looking after others and always like to go above and beyond for my residents. I won an award for my work during COVID. The Award was called "Beyond the Call of Duty". I look forward to continuing my career in care.

I am Roman I am the Maintenance Operative for Goldsborough Manor. Before the Maintenance roles, I was a Head Teacher of Art & Design, in the Art College and Academia of Fine Arts. In the United Kingdom, I have worked in general maintenance for 20 years since 2004. 20 years ago I worked in the biggest care home in West Yorkshire, Donisthorpe Hall. I started as the Maintenance manager but they asked me to use my artistic skills to design murals and art for the home. I created all the historical murals in the corridors of the home.

I am a Senior care assistant on nights here at Goldsborough Manor.
I have worked as a Care assistant for 11 years, and a relief Senior for 4 years.
I worked for 5 years on Memory Lane a dementia unit for Barchester.
I have also worked for North Yorkshire Council at an elderly person's home where I completed my Care certificate, Diploma in care level 2 and recently my level 3 lead adult carer apprenticeship.
I enjoy working as a team building trust and respectful relationships, and learning from each other's knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on individuals we care for.
I enjoy helping others making a difference to their lives and most of all seeing the person smile.
Promoting their independence, and choice and respecting their wishes to live a life how they choose, to feel happy, safe and well cared for.

Hi, I am Claire and I am the Head Housekeeper at Goldsborough Manor. This is my first time in the care industry but I have been working in Housekeeping for the past 12 years. I am small but mighty.

My Name is Jo and I am a Unit manager. I have worked in the care sector for just over 30 years, working in the community & care home settings. I have previously worked as a nurse in training at York Hospital in the elderly care unit.

I am passionate about what I do and very kind and caring to our residents. I started at Goldsborough Manor this year and am really looking forward to being part of a great team.

Hi, I'm Matus and I am the Head Chef at Goldsborough Manor. I have 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry which was mostly done in Hotels. My key focus is on customer service and I mostly enjoy baking cakes and pastries, but have a love for savoury too. I like to spend time with the residents individually and find out their needs. I always try to go above and beyond to give my best. I try to create a welcoming and friendly environment in the kitchen and other departments. I am also very happy to help and assist others. I have always wanted to grow my knowledge and skills to give the residents a wide and diverse menu.

Hi, my name is Lilianna, and I have worked in the care industry for over 20 years. I have completed NVQ 2 & 3 in health and social care, and I am currently waiting to start my level 5. I am a Unit Manager at Goldsborough Manor. It is very important for me to provide a high standard of care and support my residents with daily life tasks to promote their independence, health and happiness.
