Staff work hard to ensure residents feel at home and are cared for as well as enabling them to maintain their independence as much as possible.

All of the rooms have a nurse call system and residents can bring personal possessions to make their room really feel like their own.

There are TV aerial facilities in the bedrooms so residents can have televisions and telephones in their rooms if they wish.

The garden is colourful and vibrant and can be enjoyed by residents and their visitors.

I find Chevington House very friendly and a very relaxed atmosphere.
Staff are very kind to residents.
I can pop in at any time and feel welcome to visit my mother.
She always looks lovely and clean and she eats well.

My grandmother was a resident of Chevington House for just over 2 years, during this time the staff were very good with her and provided an excellent standard of care. The staff at Chevington work very hard to ensure the residents have their needs met and that care is at all times dignified. They not
only support the resident but their family members as well, listening to any concerns and acting on them when requested. This was especially true when she started a gradual decline in health which resulted in her peaceful death in her own bed in Chevington being cared for by those who knew her. The staff were amazing as they recognised that she was coming to the natural end of her life and had addressed all of hers and the families wishes. We will always be grateful that she could be cared for here rather than being sent elsewhere for her care.
