Our weekly fees cover accommodation, all meals and refreshments, personal care and support, housekeeping, laundry, activities and use of communal facilities. My grandmother was a resident of Chevington House for just over 2 years, during this time the staff were very good with her and provided an excellent standard of care. The staff at Chevington work very hard to ensure the residents have their needs met and that care is at all times dignified. They not only support the resident but their family members as well, listening to any concerns and acting on them when requested. This was especially true when she started a gradual decline in health which resulted in her peaceful death in her own bed in Chevington being cared for by those who knew her. The staff were amazing as they recognised that she was coming to the natural end of her life and had addressed all of hers and the families wishes. We will always be grateful that she could be cared for here rather than being sent elsewhere for her care.
We are glad to have provided a level of service to both your mum and your family which you have appreciated and recognised. I know we have a special team at Chevington, but it always goes a long way when the residents and family tell us how we have done. I am positive that your comments will be a huge morale booster for them.
