Hi, my name is Stacey, and I am the Home Manager at Ivy Court.
I joined Runwood Homes in 2019 as a Deputy Manager and quickly progressed to Home Manager. After 4 years managing Rowena House, I went on maternity leave, and upon my return, I joined Ivy Court as Home Manager.
My role is challenging yet very rewarding, and I wouldn’t want to do anything else.
I started at Ivy Court in January 2024 as a care team leader, and then in April 2024 I stepped up to being Deputy Manager
I have worked for Runwood Homes before. I worked at Rowena House for a short time as a care team leader.
I enjoy my job role at Ivy Court. I have been working in the care industry since I was 16 years of age.
Ivy hosted a BAFTAs night, and I won an award out of the support staff. I have 2 children, both boys, who are 12 and 8 years old, for whom I have special guardianship, and I spend all my time with. I love everything about my job, but most of all, I love making a difference in people's lives.
I have worked in care, domestic, and now in Reception; I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience throughout the years.
The thing I like most about my job is making people smile and being able to help people and give my time to the residents.
I love a good bike ride and a long walk; I love spending time with my kids and family.
Fun fact: I'm one of seven children, and I am a twin.
I started working for Runwood Homes in 2016 as a Kitchen Assistant at Rowena House. I then moved roles and became a receptionist in 2020 at Liberty House then accepted the role as administrator. When Ivy Court opened, I joined the home as administrator.
I love working at Ivy Court; my role is different every day, and I love meeting new people and spending time with the residents and their families.
