I arrived with my aunt who needed respite care. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. My aunt was made to feel at home and so was I.

Can't praise the staff enough.

Juniper House is a lovely environment in which my mum feels very relaxed. She enjoys the gardens, the lovely living room set-ups by the dining areas and the food - she has a good appetite and really enjoys both the quality and the variety. From my own perspective I love the light and airy feel to mum's room and indeed the whole of Juniper's communal areas. Above all though I find the staff very friendly, helpful and professional and I know my mum really appreciates this.

No concerns whatsoever. Felt very welcome from the minute I walked through the door with a friend coming in for respite. All staff are very friendly, helpful and considerate of residents and family and friends. Couldn't find any faults anywhere. Would be more than happy to call this my home. All staff prepared to give you their time as necessary. The manager, assistant manager, administrator, care workers and all others encountered, can't praise them all highly enough! My elderly friend brought in was also very happy.

My mother-in-law recently died after two and a half years in Juniper House having being admitted due to dementia. In the last couple of months she was critically failing in her physical and mental capacity.
She was given consideration, care and dignity in response to her needs which she would of struggled to communicate. On visiting the staff was very willing to talk about had she was eating/management etc.
The senior nurse manager gave us a clear and informative guideline answering any questions with honesty as it became clear she was rapidly declining.

This was very helpful during the last few weeks of her life and after her death.

The staff are friendly and efficient. The onboarding of my mother was both sympathetic and easy. They were so thoughtful and kind- nothing was too much trouble. Mum is always clean and happy and the staff all seem to really care for each other and the patients.

All the staff at Juniper House are caring and considerate no matter what their role might be. The staff that care for the residents are well trained and will use their initiative when needed, keeping the relatives well informed. My only criticism is that the food in the way it is presented is not appetizing enough to someone who is or has been very ill and does not have dementia. However the staff are more than willing to find something to tempt a failing appetite.

My mother was moved in August into this brand new home. She now has a bigger room, complete with en-suite wet-room. She likes this very much as it is total luxury for her with a lovely dining room and lounge. As most of the staff moved over as well she appreciates this.

Mom could no longer support herself at home despite family and professional support. She had had a couple of falls and knew in her own mind more support than could be provided at home was necessary, however she was still a reluctant admission to Juniper House. Within 48 hours she felt at home, enjoying the security and the companionship of both other residents and staff. This was due entirely to the kindness of the staff and the professional standard of care provided without any compromise to her dignity. Juniper House was originally intended as respite while she completed the part purchase of a 'supported apartment'. Suffice to say she has pulled out of the purchase and has elected to remain at Juniper House.
