My mother moved to Kimberly West after having personal live-in care following a major stroke. Everyone at Kimberly West was prepared for her arrival, very welcoming and have been very responsive in adjusting to meet her needs. I have great confidence that she is in very caring and safe hands. Thank you so much.
Once again, thank you for taking the time to complete a review.
All the staff are very friendly.
He had his own room that is always tidy.
The residents all get together in the lounge on a daily basis.
They have workshops and visitors to the home to entertain the people.
Many thanks for your lovely review, I will be sure to let the team know of your kind and positive feedback, we always appreciate the time that is taken to leave such a wonderful review. Once again, many thanks.
My sister did not particularly like the food at Kimberly West. Although alternatives to Appetito were always on offer, for some reason, and in spite of our encouragement, she did not often ask for them!
Thank you so much for your kind words, I will be sure to let all the teams in all the homes who cared for your lovely sister over the years know your kind words. It was an absolute pleasure to care for your sister and she will be so sadly missed. Many thanks once again.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the people that looked after my mum for the four years that she was in your care. I have never met such amazing staff that not only cared for her, but made sure that we were ok, also. Everyone was so friendly and polite and Mum was in the best of care until sadly she passed away on the 29th December 2022. I can't thank you all enough, you all work very hard for which I applaud you all. Thank you.
Thank you again...
I can recommend Kimberly West Care Centre and Wessex Care a special place to live and be cared for.
Thank you so much for your wonderful words, we were honoured to look after and care for your husband and we are deeply sorry for your loss. Your lovely feedback of the team will be sure to be passed on to them. Once again thank you for taking the time to review the service at such a sad time for you and your family, it is very much appreciated.
My husband was admitted to Kimberly West following a few weeks in hospital, with the intention of making him well enough to return home. The staff and auxiliary helpers were all very helpful to my husband and myself. In the first week, I was upset because I felt that things were not being done as I would like, but as I visited almost daily to spend time with my husband, the staff all responded to my desired standards, and things improved a lot. I lost my husband the week before he was expected to come home, but feel that he was well cared for and respected until the end.
Many thanks for your kind words and review at such a difficult time for you. We were privileged to look after your husband; he was a wonderful man. We will be sure to send your kind words to the team at Kimberly West.
My auntie had been in other respite/residential homes but none compared to Kimberly West, Salisbury. The care and compassion that was shown, the attention to detail, the cleanliness and ability to keep my auntie clean, was 2nd to none. I appreciate so much everything that the staff did for my auntie and the way that they communicated with myself. I cannot recommend enough the wonderful service that my auntie received and the dignity that she was shown until she died. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Dear Lynne, thank you for your wonderful feedback, I will be sure to let the team know. We are really sorry for your very sad loss of your aunty and I know she will be dearly missed at Kimberly West. We thank you again for taking the time to submit a review it is appreciated at this time of grieving.
This is the second home my wife was resident in. It was so much better than her first. Although my wife was so difficult to deal with, all the staff were very efficient and did their jobs to the very best of their abilities. Honestly, they were all angels.
Thank you so much for your kind review and recognising the dedication shown by all the staff at Kimberly West. I will be sure to inform the team of your review as it is always empowering to receive positive feedback for the service provided.
My Mother had a 7-week stay at Kimberly West in what's called a discharge to assessment bed. The care she received was first class, carers that really do care, and I know they can be hard to find, treating all residents with dignity and respect. Even finding time to ensure visitors were offered refreshments. Couldn't fault the team, they work non-stop for their entire 12-hour shift and they have my sincere gratitude.
Kimberly West Care Centre is one of the finest care homes in Wiltshire. The staff and management are exceptional in what they do. They are caring and supportive, as well as being friendly and polite, I cannot praise them enough.
Thank you so much for your lovely words, it is always so empowering for the teams at Wessex Care to receive such positive feedback for the hard work they do in all the homes. We really appreciate you taking the time to do a review on the team and management of Kimberly West, I will be sure to let the team know. Thank you.
Thank you for your wonderful carers and all the staff. Forever in your debt.
We are very grateful for your kind words and taking the time to complete this review. The team at Wessex Care work really hard in ensuring the residents are well cared for and having positive feedback is always so empowering for the team to hear.
My husband joined the Kimberly West Care Home in November 2021. He was immediately welcomed into the home, which took the pressure off my mind because he had been sorely treated at the hands of the hospital, so he was confused, neglected and had totally given up; After a short time, he became less nervous and dejected. This was noticeable up until his death in April 2022. He was comfortable and well looked after by both medical and carers.
Excellent care during my mother-in-law's assessment period (post hospital) during which time she has gradually adapted to being in care. There have been blips along the way, but the care and support shown by staff has been excellent. She is now permanently in the care home and tells us she is now liking being there. That is a result!
Thank you so much for your review and for taking the time to complete. It is so lovely to hear that your mother has settled so well in Kimberly West Care Centre. It is always empowering and uplifting for the nursing and care team to receive such wonderful feedback about the service we provide at Wessex Care. Thank you.
My comments are based on my experience in attendance within the home during the day, for which I have found all management and staff to be friendly and helpful with the care and wellbeing of the residents always in the forefront of their thoughts and also treated with respect. I have also been made to feel welcome when in attendance in the home. The home have also been good in keeping visiting going during the COVID outbreaks, making sure that visitors and all staff take procedures to keep the residents safe, as being able to see loved ones is most important. There are also varied activities for the residents to take part in.
Thank you for your positive feedback, it is always so nice to hear that the team at Wessex Care are friendly, helpful and caring. We will be sure to let the team know your thoughts on your experience whilst visiting your loved one. We really value you taking the time to complete this review.
Wessex Care and the staff extend their care and support to our family, which in my mind is so important in keeping us informed on Dad's progress.
Mum has been allowed to see Dad on a daily basis as a carer/helper and this has helped Mum give support to the staff.
Thank you Wessex Care and the wonderful staff of Kimberly House West.
What lovely comments, thank you for taking the time to complete this review. It means so much to us to hear feedback and we are always looking for ways to further improve. Thank you again.
Couldn't fault the care.
Thank you for you review, we are always pleased to hear feedback and suggestions.
My husband has only been a resident for the past 2 months but in that time he has received excellent care and support. The staff and home have been outstanding in all aspects of his care and are always ready to welcome you and answer your questions. He has joined in with many of the activities, much more than I could ever have done when he was at home. Thank you for looking after him so well.
Thank you very much, we are so pleased to hear such lovely comments.
My mum was in Kimberly West for a short time, during this time she sadly passed away but the staff were so kind and caring. They treated my mum with dignity and respect. They were outstanding. The whole family say thank you for all the hard work and for looking after my mum so well.
We are so sorry for your loss. Thank you for your kind words, we will ensure the care team at Kimberly West are aware of this lovely review. Once again, thank you.
Presently living abroad and faced with rare opportunities of returning to the UK to see my mother, the Kimberly West Care Centre staff made great efforts that my visits were frequent and fulfilling. From the warm welcome, assistance with the processes under COVID restrictions etc, they enable me to see my mother twice a day without restrictions on the lengths of my visits. Every assistance was made to provide excellent care and love to my mother that she could truly benefit from my visits. Thank you.
We are very glad we were able to accommodate your visit under difficult circumstances and very pleased you felt welcomed. We feel it is our privilege to care and connect to family and friends is key. Thank you.
My father stayed here for just two weeks. I can't say how pleased I was with the care he received. Better than the hospital. He was kept clean, comfortable and happy during his stay. All the staff were very kind and helpful to me and the rest of his family when we visited, always having time to talk to us.
Thank you for your lovely review and comments - we will be sure you pass this on to the team at Kimberly West, who are very grateful for feedback.
