On bringing my father-in-law to view the home, the staff were very friendly and helpful. He has now been in respite care for nearly 4 weeks. The staff have been very supportive and he has settled in very well. He speaks highly of the staff and the facilities he has used. The food is very good and there

My parents moved into Kings Lodge just over 6 months ago and we have never once regretted moving them there. Previously, they were with an alternative high profile provider for a year and a half, who we had gradually become disillusioned with. Tragically, my mother passed away earlier this month and
I have to say that the compassion shown by everyone at Kings Lodge has amazed us all. The support has been so much appreciated and, my father, who is now on his own, has been very carefully cared for and watched as he comes to terms with what has happened. Unreservedly, I would recommend this kind and loving place if you are considering a care home in this area.

My Mother had a short respite stay at Kings Lodge in Camberley, I cannot praise the staff enough, they were all very professional, friendly, caring and treated my Mother with dignity and respect. She had a beautiful room, and really enjoyed the lovely food, she said it was like staying at a 5-star luxury
hotel.


My Mother has had several respite stays at care homes and Kings Lodge is excellent and comes top of the list, l would not hesitate in recommending Kings Lodge to anyone who is considering a care home for themselves or a member of their family.

My mother stayed at Kings Lodge for respite care, it was her first time away from home since being diagnosed with Dementia. After a nervous beginning, the welcoming staff helped her to adjust to her new surroundings, it being very strange to her.
She was soon joining in with the other guests and daily
activities, also enjoying the food and her accommodation. During her short stay, she was also treated to a trip into town where they visited the centre and had a coffee. When we went to collect her she was sorry to leave and said she would miss the people and all the staff. She has mentioned enjoying her stay on several occasions since returning home.

My mother has been in the home for ten days and settled in really well. I am just thrilled with the standard of the care and facilities offered to her. The staff are wonderful and exceptionally caring and treat all the residents with respect and dignity. There are two activities a day so they are kept
occupied and the standard of the rooms are exceptional. It has made such a huge difference to my life knowing that she is settled, happy, has outstanding care and has company.


I visited many residential homes before choosing this one and am so delighted at the decision I made as I consider I could not have made a better choice. Knowing that she is happy and enjoying her new environment is so important as it's a life choice that you never think you will have to make for a loved one.


The facilities are outstanding, with its own cinema and hairdressing salon, craft room and a lovely environment to spend the latter part of your life in.

The staff are very caring and kind. My husband has dementia and they looked after him well. It is brand new so it is currently like a 5* Hotel.

From the moment I walked through the door to make enquiries for my mum, the service has been first class, from the director of services to all the care assistants. The care my mum receives is second to none, she is so happy. A perfect place to spend the remaining years of her wonderful life.

Our whole experience with this organisation and establishment has been exemplary.
The environment is beautiful and the whole staff team is amazing - so professional, kind, supportive and anxious to meet all mum's needs.

What do I love about my role? That feeling of knowing that no matter how large or small, you’ve made someone’s day. Both of my roles are varied which I enjoy. I love the administrative areas and client liaison with relatives, however I just adore spending time doing activities. I enjoy being creative and implementing activities that take the residents back to a personal memory. Shop! It gives me great please in just making someone happy and laughing.


Favourite Activity – I’m clearly a repressed Barber! I created this activity and love to “dress the scene” and set the mood. “The Blind Barber” was so popular that the gentleman want it to feature every week. I enjoy it so much and feel I missed my vocation in life!


I also get great pleasure in taking the residents for a walk or push to see my horses. They often come to visit here too.


I’m a qualified Art Restored & Art Consultant and ran my own business for 5 Years and managed a Gallery for 15 years.


Keen Equestrian & have two horses who are located next door so I love to take the residents to visit them. Being outside and keeping active is an absolute passion with rugby and golf leading as some of my favourite sports!
