My mother stayed here for 6 years. The last few years in the dementia floor. It has seen many changes during this time. Signature owned it initially and now Avery. My mum has always been happy here. In the last few months she has needed needed intensive care and then comfort care before she passed.
In the latter period I was visiting daily and watched the love and affection demonstrated by the staff. It made this period so much easier for me and my family to cope. I would happily recommend this home.

My husband suffers from Parkinson's and Lewy Body dementia. The care he receives at the Wimbledon Common Care Home is absolutely wonderful in every way. Everybody is so patient and kind, and nothing is too much trouble.

I stayed at the home for 2 weeks, convalecing after an operation. It would have been nice to have pictures on the all, not just picture hooks. But the worst problem was the number of insects, probably silverfish, in the bathroom. They were on the floor, in the hand basin, on the towels, and on my comb.
I had to move my toothbrush and comb into my bedroom instead of keeping them in the bathroom. I had to lift my feet off the floor when I visited the toilet in the night because of insects running over the floor. I reposted the problem, but nothing was done. I hope I didn't bring any home and I'll let you know if I did.
A pity, because most other elements of the home were brilliant.

My mother spent her last two and a half years in Wimbledon Common Care home. All measurable things: cleanliness, food, facilities are excellent. But most outstanding and far more important is the quality of the staff. Everyone I met was kind, cheerful and concerned to be doing the best for my mother.
I find this so impressive given the difficult nature of their work at times. All such problems were met with enormous good humour, which served to cheer me up on occasion. I know that my mother felt safe and happy in this home, which is not easy when you have to give up your own home and independence. When she needed to see a doctor this was easily manageable and she also had dental work done on site. The reception staff are also delightful and Hannah is a friendly and approachable manager. I remain delighted with our choice.

I have been delighted by how well my mum has settled in at Wimbledon Common Care Home. She is most comfortable in her own spacious bedroom with a well equipped en-suite and she enjoys spending time in the communal areas which are always immaculate and beautiful decorated at commemorative times of the
year. A varied programme of activities has been provided and my mum has had many chances to enjoy interesting trips outside the care home.

My mother has been a resident of Wimbledon Common Care Home - Avery Collection since September 2022. My mother receives very good care. She always gets a very warm and cheery welcome from all members of staff. All the staff are extremely professional, courteous and caring. I can see that they work together
to make a happy, caring and safe environment for the residents that is also respectful. The activities are superb, recently I attended a very beautiful and moving Remembrance Day ceremony for the residents in the reception. I'm very glad that my mother is taken care of so well. Thank you to all staff.

I chose Wimbledon Common Care Home because of its proximity, newness and facilities but what I could not have known was how special the people are who cared for my mom. Came here for a week's respite. My first experience with a care home and I was pleasantly surprised. Wimbledon Common Care Home is bright and cheerful, small enough to feel quite intimate. Permanent residents in spite of their various conditions look resigned and content and some are even welcoming
to new residents like myself. The routine works well, the activities are enthusiastically organised, the staff are attentive and friendly and the food is excellent.

A happy place. The staff are happy, fun, professional and kind. Nothing is ever a problem. I have never heard anyone talk down to any resident. The food is excellent with a wide choice. It is clean and tidy with lots of indoor and outdoor imaginative activities. Management can't do enough, always there

My mother had dementia and was so well looked after by the whole team at Avery Wimbledon for the two and a half years she lived there. There is a lovely sense of community in the home, and the standard of care was exceptional, particularly in the last weeks of her life, she was treated with great kindness
and dignified care by the lovely team.
We are so glad we chose Avery Wimbledon, mum settled in so well when she first moved there, she had a lovely room, surrounded by her own paintings and furniture, delicious food, and carers who took time to get to know her and her routines. The home is well run by the excellent management, and we have always been welcomed so warmly when we visited. We are very grateful to all the amazing carers and staff for everything they did for mum, and for us, we will miss them! Thank you all.

My partner came to Signature Wimbledon for a kind of convalescence/rehabilitation stay after a cancer operation and a bad reaction to chemotherapy. What none of us realised is that she should have stayed in hospital, because she was about to take a turn very much for the worse. This put a lot of pressure
on the Signature staff as they weren't expecting so much medical care to be required. They stepped up as fast as they could by calling in the GP and district nurse and they proved themselves to be very caring.
The Signature facilities are 5-star, but unfortunately, my partner did not participate in very much and died after 2 weeks in the home.

My father moved to Signature at Wimbledon in March 2021 but sadly passed away recently, in April 2023. I wanted to write to say what a pleasure it has been for my father to be looked after by all the staff at the home, and despite losing my mother two years ago, he was cared for in every possible way,
both physically and emotionally.
The home is wonderful, and all the carers, activity staff, kitchen staff, dining staff, housekeeping, reception and management have been exceptional. Always smiling, nothing is too much trouble, and there is always a lovely cup of tea and homemade cakes to welcome you when you arrive.
My father was happy at the home as there was always something to occupy his mind, and he enjoyed the outings to some lovely places. Afternoons and weekends were especially nice when someone from the Academy of music would come to play for the residents, which you could see by their faces they always enjoyed. I am so grateful that my father was happy in his latter years.

My mother has been living in the dementia community at Signature at Wimbledon for over a year and has settled in really well; we are very happy with the care she receives. The care team work hard to keep the residents entertained and take them on trips out of the home. The food is restaurant quality,
and the accommodation is akin to a luxury hotel rather than a care home which makes visiting for family and friends so much more enjoyable.

Signature was a wonderful home for my mother for six months, from when she became a resident until she passed away. The team there is very well-organized and extremely caring, and always go the extra mile to make residents' lives as rich as possible. I will never forget the personal kindness that so

There were staff shortages and a Covid outbreak at Christmas - no help given for bathing. Lack of clarity over medicine and promised bacs not arranged. Internal and external communications were poor. Offer of respite care turned out to be over-sold and not delivered. The food and furnishings were good.

The staff in reception were always very helpful and proactive.
The nursing staff took a real interest in looking after her very professionally and at awkward times.

Mum was very well cared for over the months that she was at Signature at Wimbledon.
The staff were extremely attentive and professional and very obliging and kind. The food was incredible and always put a smile on Mum's face. There are some incredible, particular staff who cared for Mum's every need.
