I feel well cared for and looked after here. If you have to be in a care home, I think this is a good one. You are asked what activities you would like to happen. You are listened to and the staff act upon this. I understand that it is expensive but I do not know how much it costs.

This is a caring place. The staff are genuinely fond of the residents. The food is wonderful and the activities team do a brilliant job. My dad did so many different activities in his last days. The home is extremely clean and well decorated. Respect is the order of the day here.

I am a regular visitor to my friend and can honestly say that I couldn't wish for my own parents a better place to live. The staff are so friendly, competent and caring and make the facility more like a welcoming 4* hotel instead of a care home. Well done to all concerned in making Signature a home

My mother spent 3 weeks respite care at Wimbledon during a break from carers and the wonderful staff at Kingsmere helped her to settle in very quickly. The management, nursing staff, carers and kitchen staff are all so kind, patient and caring, creating a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The facilities are
of the highest standard and every effort is made to make the residents feel welcome and part of the home. I would definitely recommend Kingsmere highly.

On entering the foyer of Kingsmere and being welcomed by friendly, charming folk I immediately felt at home and knew that I would be well cared for in a two-week stay. The various activities were all well documented in a bright colourful magazine, and I took part in everything offered. The meals were
delicious with well-trained waiters who encouraged me to taste a variety of foods. All members of the large staff are charming and were always on hand to offer advice and encouragement. I will return.

My friend has been at Kingsmere for many months and is happy here. I think the staff are wonderful, always smiling, nothing is too much trouble for them if a resident needs help. The building is run like a five-star hotel. The food is excellent with great choices. There is lots going on, if residents
wish to join in. There is also a beautiful private room if people wish to use it for celebrations, as my friend did to celebrate her 101st birthday with family.

Kingsmere Care Home is probably much better than other care homes but unfortunately more expensive.


Nevertheless, Kingsmere Care Home is almost certainly the top of the tree and I would tell anyone who cares to listen.

It is charming in every way - a home from home but 100% nicer!


From the receptionist onwards, everyone was wonderful - food was delicious, an utterly brilliant chef. They manage to create a wonderful atmosphere of a first class hotel with a lot of personal attention and warmth.

I have seen Kingsmere from 'both sides' I visit my mother who is a resident, several times a week and in addition I have stayed at Kingsmere for one week, to recover from an operation. I cannot endorse my views below more strongly. Not only is the personal care 100% but the backup staff e.g. catering,
laundry, cleaners etc all help to provide a wonderful, caring and cheerful atmosphere. Residents are treated with respect. Kingsmere Retirement Home gets it right.

Excellent and kindly staff. Good food and activities. Very comfortable, safe rooms. Occasional delays at meal times, some dishes prepared to odd recipes e.g. 'Parma ham and melon' - the ham must be cold as it came from Parma - here it was cooked. 'Crepes Suzette' made with cold factory prepared stodge
- not real warm pancakes. But choice and range of food is excellent overall.

A close friend suggested I visit Kingsmere with a view to getting respite care for my aunt. I had concerns about taking a holiday as my aunt needs care. I was delighted with the staff and facilities at Kingsmere and any concerns I had were put to rest. My aunt had a great three weeks and made some lovely
friends. I would have no hesitation recommending Kingsmere and I would definitely look for a respite again with you and maybe on a more permanent basis. Thank you, everyone, at Kingsmere.

Trying to care for my husband had got a little hard, due to a heart attack 10 weeks ago things started to get really hard for me. Now my husband is home from hospital. I have been here at Kingsmere since 6/2/17 until 13/2/17. I had a lovely cake made for me on the 8th of February, my grandchildren were
here. I have been so well looked after. Nice food, loads to go, lots of fun. Staff can't do enough. I have found all the residents very friendly.

My father was suddenly in a situation where he couldn't cope at home and needed respite. Kingsmere and the staff were exceptional. They understood our problem and facilitated our need for a speedy solution. Not only did they care for my Father but they were very supportive of my situation and gave
me the upmost confidence and support. The home doesn't feel like a care home, it has incredible facilities and feels like a top class hotel. I would highly recommend it for either respite or long term.
